La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Yucaipa

Great hotel. Staff was awesome. Breakfast was awesome. My wife and I travel to California to see our grandbabies frequently and this place is close and convenient to them. They really loved the pool. This will be our goto hotel in the future.

It was a great place to spend a couple days, especially if you were going to the lavender festival which is about 20 minutes away. There is a nice workout room and pool and the breakfast is really good. A perfect quick getaway spot.

I booked here n it advertized new and new pool i went there for the pool after checking in i was told the pool is not working.

Everything was clean and staff was very pleasant. Pool was out of commission but not a problem for me. I work on pools daily and the last thing I want to do is use a pool.

Excellent stay, friendly staff. very quiet rooms, did not hear the freeway at all. Very comfy beds and pillows. Spacious rooms. Nice gym.

Very quiet and very clean. Bathroom was very clean. Mattress was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast served from 6 - 9am. Several charging stations for EV cars.

The hotel is nice and fairly new. The hotel does not have a restaurant. There are no restaurants within walking area from the hotel.

This is a nice, new hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. My only complains would be that the television occasionally lost connection and froze or went to a black screen and the pool is still closed. We enjoyed our stay.

The pool closed too early. Maybe have the pool in the summer have different hours. The hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellence everywhere except outside at the pool. Trash cans were constantly overfilled. Besides that minor issue I highly recommend

We have stayed here before, and have never had an issue. This past stay the carpet had not been vacuumed at all and had white dog hair. The bathroom smelled like wet dog, and clumps of hair in the drain from the previous people. All the dront desk person said was sorry and to request a different floor mext time.

I've stayed here 4 times since August. My room was not cleaned very well. Dog hair and someone's nail clippings were on the carpeting. Baseboards are not dusted or wiped clean! Dirty! The bathroom was not cleaned well, as there was urine on the floor around the toilet when I checked in. Blood stain on the shower curtain that was not my blood! The elevator floors had spills and sticky feeling for several days in a row, not cleaned. I brought dirty floors to the attention of manager.

Room was dirty with ants, sticky floors, and hair in shower. Beds seemed small. If it wasn't so late and us so tired we would have changed rooms at the least, and hotels at the worst.

It was fine other than a stench coming out of the bathroom drain. We complained and staff said nothing they could do. So we had to go by air freshner and figure out how to remedy the situation ourself.

It started out ok the lobby appeared very nice the desk clerk was very nice. However, when we got to our ADA room, it was right by the outside door that everyone entered, the door slammed, dogs were barking, it was very loud, and the door would slam all night till about 2 AM, we will not do that again (but part of that was our fault), of course, the floor in our room was hardwood floors, because it is ADA compliant, which was fine, but when I got out of the shower my feet were filthy, it was obvious no one had mopped that floor, it was disgusting

After staying at this NEW hotel, one would think it's being kept clean every day. Well, I shared some specific details about the lack of cleanliness in the common areas, and in my room over the past 3 stays at this hotel. *I've stayed here 6 times since the hotel opened in August 2023. The manager actually told me I should stay at another hotel, he specifically told me to stay at the Yucaipa Motel instead. What kind of manager tells a customer to stay elsewhere? A bad manager does that, because he thinks staff "morale" is more important than a customer complaint about cleanliness. In early February, My room had blood on the shower curtain, dog hair on the carpeting, someone else's finger nail clippings on the floor, human or dog pee on the bathroom floor, and the lobby floors and elevator floors were filthy for several days in a row. The staff is very friendly, cordial and helpful. I have no complaints about the staff, in fact they provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I brought my concerns to staff, and Natalie immediately took steps to clean where it was dirty. Seriously though, this location needs a new manager because the one there now is awful and was condescending to me after I've spent thousands staying here! Picture is slime that was on the seat in the room I stayed in this past week February 21st.

Clean from entrance to the dining area all the way to our rooms. And very friendly & accommodating staff.

Our check in was not that great. The front desk night service was sub par as staff could use some professional customer service training. Besides myself, I saw other customers being treated like their business didn’t matter. The walls are thin. I do not recommend this hotel during my peak busy season. We had neighbors on both sides of our room and I could hear everything from conversations to intimate moments. This hotel isn’t rest friendly. We were placed near the gym so the door slamming shut and people traffic did not help our rest. Kudos to the cleaning service, kitchen staff, and outside maintenance workers. Stellar job support crew.

New, comfortable lots of space

The front desk is not overly friendly. Their response to guests is unprofessional and unwelcoming. Rooms are very dark, ours had a tiny window. The room was bleak and cold. The corner chair needs an ottoman. Our shower had black hair everywhere. There were dirty linens underneath the sink. The tv cuts out every 15 minutes so you have to switch to a different channel, you can never finish a show. There is no jacuzzi, the pool does not have towels. You have to bring your bath towel. The continental breakfast is as expected. Coffee was cold by 8am. Potatoes hard and uncooked. We will definitely never come back to this hotel.

They had a very comfortable, and wonderful bed. Had a great night's sleep.

Clean room, however, we were right next to the back entry door and it was loud in our room every time someone used it.

The tv lost signal every 30 min and the sewage smell coming from the drain in the bathroom was gross, the hotel it’s self is nice.

Really noisy in the morning we could hear those house keepers rolling their carts. We were on the first floor and we could hear all the people in getting breakfast definitely was very noisy we had not had this experience as we always stay there

The staff went above and beyond to make a 73 years young, retired, and deaf, customer feel like he was their most important guest.

It was a great stay until I had to leave, my fiance stayed there since I had to leave for work early in the morning, check out was 11am and I checked out thru the phone and I was told that the cleaning people were tryin to get in and woke her up around 9, then she explained she was sleeping until check out. And then maybe 20 mins later another person opens the door and says never mind you’re on the list. And it’s almost a safety issue. It’s a good thing she had the door locked with the latch. That issue needs to be fixed.

The reception was rude and very pedantic, she seemed more interested in getting every detail that didnt really matter. It ended up making me very uncomfortable and demanded my guest sign in also! Ive never had a hotel insisst i tell them my guest name and signature. Then after making what should have been a simple process a 20 minute ordeal. Tammy was ride and inconsiderate of my time and repeat business.

excellent customer service at the front desk!

Our stay again was excellent. Jared at the front desk was fantastic. So amazingly helpful. Cindy the front desk manager is a gem of an employee. So nice and helpful. Even the other workers are so kind and polite. Alisha is amazing part of the team. Thanks to all of the for making my wife and I feel so welcomed and comfortable. This is a special group that are truly passionate and professional. Brian

We had teenagers move into room next to us our last day. Noisiest people that we have ever experienced. We complained to the front desk and they moved us immediately. Since we had a 450 mi trip the next day and a good night's sleep was important, we were relieved and very greatful.

Check in went smoothly and I really liked how the desk called later in the evening to make sure the room was to our needs and to see if we needed anything else. Very pleasant. The entire staff at check in and breakfast were very friendly and professional. The lobby is really large and comfy and the facilities are brand new. This is a new hotel and for us, closer to where our family lives and a really comfortable place to stay.

Dogs in guest rooms barking all night. Multiple people complained about the dogs but the front desk staff failed to do anything about it when the hotel was only 50% occupancy. Walls very thin we could hear someone 2 doors down fighting with someone, screaming profanity’s and slamming doors shut at 3am. We will never stay at a la Quinta ever again if this is how they operate

The hotel itself was very nice but the area around it did not have much.

Staff members were friendly. It was right next to a gas station which had a car wash. The hotel was just off the freeway.

A little loud because it’s next to the freeway, but overall very nice accommodations. Everything is newer, and the rooms are comfortable.

The property is near new and very modern. The lobby is dominated by the breakfast seating area. It is very large and seats/tables have great variety, great spacing and accommodating design. The free breakfast was just "OK", as the fresh fruit "wasn't" and choices were skimpy. For the Saturday morning breakfast, they ran out of some things (incl. coffee, creamers, etc.) & disappointing. Front desk people & maids were very pleasant and professional.

Excellent experience every time we stay here to visit family. Super clean hotel, great breakfast, beds are comfortable and the staff here are very nice.

The room and the hotel in general are very clean. The bed was comfortable. I am not a fan of Direct TV ( weird remote control, TV guide is incomplete) that is the tv service offered. Their breakfast is good, except for the coffee, which is poor quality.

Hands down the best La Quinta I have ever at along with a great breakfast. We will be staying here a lot when visiting the LA area.

I did feel very safe in the parking lot the breakfast I always enjoy the breakfast but a breakfast on Tuesday. The sausages were hard almost like they were warmed over better breakfasts Sunday and Monday we’re outstanding.

Generally great experience. They do need to work on details. Used cups left in lobby before I went out for dinner, still there when I came back from dinner. Front desk is there and can see it but wont clear it. Generally most of my interactions with the Front desk was frazzled. For ex apparently even though I received keys for both rooms I booked, they didnt finish “checking in” my second room. got called down to finish checking in but since they were so frazzled they took down our credit card info onto paper. Never had fraud on my credit card and it wasnt exposed all weekend I was in town. Of course shortly after the front desk wrote down my card on a piece of paper, my credit card company notified me of a $500 suspicious charge. Coincidence? I think not. Their complimentary breakfast offerings are fantastic, but they were constantly out of food and coffee every 5 mins. we’d have to wait another 15 mins for eggs, potatos or coffee to be refilled. Also this may not be the hotel’s fault but there are no signs that only electric vehicles can park in the electric charging spots. All electric spaces were taken up by non electric spots- frustrating esp on a road trip where we’re relying on charging there as there are none other nearby. That electric charger co is missing out on a lot of customers that need to use it. Other than that I will say the hotel is clean, new, beautiful. It just feels like the logistics are lacking and maybe they opened prematurely before working out kinks

This hotel is very nicely updated. The room are clean, the beds AND pillows , super comfy. And the icing on the cake was the breakfast. You just don’t find breakfast like this anymore. Included with your reservation. Muffins, bagels, waffle station, biscuits and gravy, back, sausage, fruit, juice, coffees and teas!
