Everything was as advertised on the listing. The cabin is a nicely furnished, cosy bolthole, situated in some lovely Devon countryside. The hot tub is a fun addition. Margaret, the owner, was very helpful on arrival and very unobtrusive afterwards! She was also extremely helpful with flexibility over our arrangements. Our kids loved the X box, which kept them entertained when the weather was bad. The location is a great jumping off point for the South Hams coast and rivers, with Dartmoor on the other side. Yealmpton is a decent little centre, with a good pub and well-stocked farm shop and local store. The outside bathroom might not be for some people, simply because it is outside - but it is nicely done and the underfloor heating and automatic light mean it's not too much hassle to use, even in the middle of the night. The bed was a little soft for our liking but I guess it might suit others. Overall, a really good experience and we would recommend the cabin as a pleasant base to explore the area - either for couples or a smallish family.
