Hostal sehr schwierig zu finden. Nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar. Schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten. Essen sehr gut und freundliches Personal.

What an amazing wee hotel! The room was lovely with its own balcony overlooking the hills (Shiraz room). Good value, great location, breakfast included and of course, delicious wine from the wine bar downstairs! Babette was communicative and welcoming from the start. Highly recommend, I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Location is perfect, just at start of hill in old town. What we wished we had known when we arrived instead of going up the steep steps if you go past this there is a more gentle ramp.This is a small boutique hotel only 4 rooms, all named after wines, we stayed in Sav blanc room Small but adequate, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included small but tasty. Very small serving of orange juice & extra coffee would have been nice. Garden very pretty but weather was not on our side Hotel appears more renoun for its restaurant Shiraz than its rooms, restaurant is very busy, food fantastic, we ate there twice in a four night stay

Pittoreskt beläget i gamla delen av Alta. Vackra och rena rum. Vårt sällskap hade rum Merlot och Chardonnay. Ett med en balkong och magisk utsikt det andra med en romantisk uteplats. Restaurangen hade en trevlig atmosfär och god mat. Vi älskade stället och kan varmt rekommendera det.

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel whilst staying in Altea. We were in the Monastrell property - the interiors were phenomenal, so clean, new & well equipped. Fresh towels daily, fresh water in the fridge, lots of amenities like coffee, washing machine/dryer, iron, etc. The location was also close to everything needed. Staff were so friendly and helpful & they even helped with a last minute transport to the airport. The breakfast was included and was so lovely (divine croissants!). Will definitely look to book here again and have also recommended to others!

Stayed a weekend in January. Beautiful, stylish accommodation. We stayed in the Shiraz room which was cosy and had a beautiful view of both the mountains and partial view of the sea also. Small terrace which we didn’t make use of due to time of year but can imagine is lovely in the spring/summer. Lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful when our google maps didn’t work and we got lost trying to find the accommodation. Room cleaned daily. Had a kitchen area with coffee machine so was great to have a cuppa in bed watching the sunrise in the morning. Will be returning in warmer weather to try the merlot room with roof terrace!

What a treat! We were delighted by the classy, artsy ambience, the excellent dinner and breakfast, and the general care we felt during our too brief stay. The view from our terrace (Merlot) was exquisite. So happy we stumbled upon this gem of a hostal. Thank you.

Really well styled and equipped room but a few things didn’t work. We didn’t sleep well as the pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no windows only a patio door which led onto the restaurant terrace itself. Breakfast was amazing on the first morning but I think the chef was off the next day as it wasn’t so good the next morning. It is also quite difficult to find with no parking close to the accommodation so you will have to carry your cases up to the building. Overall good for a young couple but not suitable for everyone.

Rummet var rent. Super trevlig personal. Parkering i närheten. Frukosten var utmärkt. Det ända som var lite si sådär var att rummet låg vid receptionen/restaurangen. Men annars var allt helt perfekt.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING. From the moment we entered to the moment we left we were treated beautifly. The rooms, which are more like luxurious suites were spotless and the attention to detail was first class. Do yourself a favour and get booking.

Petit hôtel incroyablement charmant , tout est joli , impecable . Ma chambre , la Shiraz, était grande et très agréable avec la terrasse. Le petit déjeuner était exquis pour finir en beauté ! Bref je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

Väldigt fina rum mitt i gamla delen av stan. Man kan inte parkera i närheten, dock finns gratis parkering i 8 minuters promenadavstånd.

Shiraz is a beautiful, clean, well maintained property. We stayed in the Shiraz room, which has a comfortable bed and separate sitting area with a balcony. The food at Shiraz is very creative and excellent. Their included breakfast was delicious every day, with fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, juice, etc. Special thanks to Luke who was very accommodating and super helpful with parking and directions. Special thanks also to Sofie, she was very nice and helpful. Thanks also to Sebastian and the rest of the team, they are all so hospitable and kind. Altea is a beautiful place, but Shiraz and their team made it extra special. The only thing to nit pick about is the lack of parking. But once you park, getting around is easy. The beach boardwalk is 4-5 mins walk down the hill. The church and old town are 4-5 mins walk up the hill. There are dozens of great restaurants all around and markets in easy walking distance. When we return to Altea, we will again stay at Shiraz. Highly recommended.

Altea is a beautiful place, but Shiraz and their team made it extra special. The only thing to nit pick about is the lack of parking. But once you park, getting around is easy. The beach boardwalk is 4-5 mins walk down the hill. The church and old town are 4-5 mins walk up the hill. There are dozens of great restaurants all around and markets in easy walking distance. When we return to Altea, we will again stay at Shiraz. Highly recommended.

Everything, starting from the room, property, its location, and staff was amazing at this hotel. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, despite our late arrival to the hotel, they made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Their patio area is very beautiful where we were able to enjoy an absolutely delicious breakfast.

No hay aparcamiento disponible. No está a tres minutos de la playa. Esto es un gran problema cuando te estás recuperando de una operación de tobillo. Incluso después de admitir que la información sobre los hoteles era inexacta, el propietario del hotel se negó a aceptar mi cancelación debido a mis limitaciones médicas. No puedo dejar de recalcar lo incómodo que es llegar a este hotel y lo poco que el propietario se preocupa por los demás. Lo único que le importaba era cobrar el dinero de la noche.

Stayed a weekend in January. Beautiful, stylish accommodation. We stayed in the Shiraz room which was cosy and had a beautiful view of both the mountains and partial view of the sea also. Small terrace which we didn’t make use of due to time of year but can imagine is lovely in the spring/summer. Lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful when our google maps didn’t work and we got lost trying to find the accommodation. Room cleaned daily. Had a kitchen area with coffee machine so was great to have a cuppa in bed watching the sunrise in the morning. Will be returning in warmer weather to try the merlot room with roof terrace!

What a treat! We were delighted by the classy, artsy ambience, the excellent dinner and breakfast, and the general care we felt during our too brief stay. The view from our terrace (Merlot) was exquisite. So happy we stumbled upon this gem of a hostal. Thank you.

Mi llegada fue un poco caótica, nadie me dijo que tenía que dejar el coche a 10 andando desde el hostal. Estuve media hora dando vueltas hasta que envié un mensaje al hostal y me recomendaron un lugar para aparcar.

Location is perfect, just at start of hill in old town. What we wished we had known when we arrived instead of going up the steep steps if you go past this there is a more gentle ramp.This is a small boutique hotel only 4 rooms, all named after wines, we stayed in Sav blanc room Small but adequate, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included small but tasty. Very small serving of orange juice & extra coffee would have been nice. Garden very pretty but weather was not on our side Hotel appears more renoun for its restaurant Shiraz than its rooms, restaurant is very busy, food fantastic, we ate there twice in a four night stay

What a gem, this bistro hotel is fabulous the only issue was we only stayed one night. We eat in the restaurant which was very nice. We did struggle to find the hotel as we didn’t realise the rooms were via the restaurant entrance. Altea is lovely the beach area and the old town.

Really well styled and equipped room but a few things didn’t work. We didn’t sleep well as the pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no windows only a patio door which led onto the restaurant terrace itself. Breakfast was amazing on the first morning but I think the chef was off the next day as it wasn’t so good the next morning. It is also quite difficult to find with no parking close to the accommodation so you will have to carry your cases up to the building. Overall good for a young couple but not suitable for everyone.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely decor. Perfect surroundings in the old town. Superb restaurant serving an excellent selection of vegetarian foods. Very friendly staff who are happy to help. It was hard to leave. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely small hotel ! The location is in the heart of the old town with easy access to the beach. The room is lovely and well equipped with all amenities. Plus a fridge, coffee and tea. The service is quick and friendly. But the bed is too small for two. The plus of this hotel is its restaurant: Shiraz. Excellent exquisite food and choice of wine. We had a lovely evening. The downside of this hotel is the checkout at 11. It’s too early for travelers spending only one night. And it’s not easy to find. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Si vous avez de gros bagages bien lourds prévoyez des muscles !! L’accès se fait par des escaliers assez raides avec de grosses valises. Personnel très sympathique, hôtel charmant et propre. Restaurant absolument magique. Pas de commentaire sur le petit dej que nous n’avons pas pu prendre car il est servi qu’à partir de 9h et nous devions partir tôt… chambre avec belle terrasse très agréable. Salle de bain petite avec juste l’essentielle. Mini bar qu’avec de l’eau, café et thé à disposition. Belle découverte.

Gentillesse des personnes qui nous ont accueillies , très bel endroit . Ce qui serait bic est de mettre un point gisent bas des escaliers pour décharge des bagages et de mentionner que vous faites restaurant car cela peut faire du bruit dans les chambres . Merci
