Grand Lake Hotel

The Grand Lake Hotel didn’t look appealing from the outside, but our room was so cozy! We could see the lawn from our window. The bed, mattress, and AC unit were new. I actually pulled back the sheets and the mattress was clean. The bathroom was outdated, but had a new toilet and clean tiles. The water pressure was amazing! My husband and I were initially skeptical about the hotel because it was so cheap, but we slept soundly after our night out. The bed was firm and comfortable. We also appreciated the friendly receptionist and housekeeper! I needed scissors for my false lashes while getting ready for a wedding, and the receptionist delivered brand new scissors and spoolie to our door. I wish the hotel owners the best of luck with renovations, and my husband and I can’t wait to return to see the transformation. The historic property deserves another chance to be appreciated. (Please note that there are no elevators in the building)

The place was quiet and peaceful

The rooms are very poor quality and cheap looking. The whole place is sketchy and I would never stay there again. Everything is outdated. I don’t recommend staying here.
