For the price, the location and the pool are unbelievable. We were worried about being too far from the action, but it was perfectly situated. The pool is large, clean, and always quiet in the evenings—perfect for a late, relaxing dip before bed. A top-tier choice for rest and convenience.

I recently stayed at Angkor Land Urban Boutique and had a fantastic experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a pleasant stay. Its central location was ideal for exploring the city. The staff were always friendly, greeting me with warm smiles and creating a welcoming atmosphere. On the surface this hotel is fine. It’s clean, the vast majority of staff are friendly and it is in a good location. That’s basically all the positives. The hotel is very dated. Some room features are in desperate need of an upgrade, whilst others are just not present all. The breakfast was also basic and covered in flies. We booked a room which was supposed to have a TV, city view etc. None of these were present. Apparently all the rooms have had TVs removed as “everyone now uses a smartphone”. We could have seen past this if other basic features worked as expected (such as the door opening on the first attempt - rather than having to stand in corridor for several minutes waiting for the key to work). When these issues were raised, the manager promised complimentary laundry to compensate. We were happy with this and the rest of our 3 night stay was fine. Upon checking out, the manager point blank denied that he made this promise over the phone, leaving us no choice but to pay for the laundry, as we needed to catch a bus. This dishonesty, coupled with the untruthful and inadequate room facilities tainted our stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The majority of the staff at this hotel were more than happy to help whilst we were here and were very friendly. It is a shame that the customer service skills from management are not great. We booked this based on the good score it had but we are honestly not sure how this hotel has obtained such a good score…

El aire acondicionado no servía en mi cuarto, me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación y era más de medianoche. Salió una cucaracha en el baño y la cama estaba dura como una tabla. I really don’t understand why this hotel has such a high rating. On the first day we checked in, we found a gecko in the room, and it was making very loud noises. We had to go downstairs to the front desk for help because there was no telephone in the room. A male staff member came with a can of insect spray. We asked to change rooms, but the next day we found another gecko in the new room as well. On the third day at noon, when we returned to the room, we noticed that although the room had been cleaned, the towels had not been replaced. Later in the afternoon, when we went out again, we informed the staff and asked them to change the towels, and they agreed. However, when we came back to the room in the evening and were about to take a shower, we only realized after taking off our clothes that the towels still had not been changed. We had no choice but to get dressed again and go down to the front desk to complain. Overall, this hotel has very outdated facilities and the service is far from satisfactory.

There was some refurbishment work taking place close to my room, which I was notified of by a printed note in the room. The noise was not much of a problem as it was taking place during the day. There were flickering lights in places, the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, but as I was only staying 2 nights I made do. The breakfast offering was ok, but generally the facilities were good. Staff were helpful when I needed assistance.

The AC in the room was weak and there was no AC in the lobby. The shower was one of those that is flush with the bathroom floor so water floods the bathroom when you shower. There is no landline in the room, so they give you a card with QR codes so you can message or call the front desk for anything. I messaged the front desk and asked for more towels so that didn’t slip in the bathroom, and never got a response. I would spend a little bit more to have a flawless stay elsewhere nearby.

The manager did try to correct any inefficiencies with our room and we were moved 3x. The last room we didn’t want to say anything but the bed was hard and we had no wifi on the floor we were moved. The AC in the room was weak and there was no AC in the lobby. The shower was one of those that is flush with the bathroom floor so water floods the bathroom when you shower. There is no landline in the room, so they give you a card with QR codes so you can message or call the front desk for anything. I messaged the front desk and asked for more towels so that didn’t slip in the bathroom, and never got a response. I would spend a little bit more to have a flawless stay elsewhere nearby.

On the surface this hotel is fine. It’s clean, the vast majority of staff are friendly and it is in a good location. That’s basically all the positives. The hotel is very dated. Some room features are in desperate need of an upgrade, whilst others are just not present all. The breakfast was also basic and covered in flies. We booked a room which was supposed to have a TV, city view etc. None of these were present. Apparently all the rooms have had TVs removed as “everyone now uses a smartphone”. Before arrival I received a text from the Hotel welcoming me and offering a SIM card for free data whilst staying there. When I arrived and asked about this noone knew anything about it. I asked then to check and get back to me. No-one responded, so I asked again at the desk, again showing then the message I had received from the hotel and was met with blank looks. I’ve no issues if this was a mistake but please make sure you change the message that’s sent to customers or respond when asked a question. Overall the rest of the stay was pleasant, the hotel was pretty clean and the staff were welcoming

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous wood staircase and accents. Delicious meals and drinks served by pool. Pool and area surrounding it are beautiful! The young gals who work in the bar area were so sweet and helpful and really appreciative of tips. Fairly close to Angkor Wat. Shopping nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here
