After long days of exploring the temples of Angkor Wat, the hotel was the perfect sanctuary. The pool area is a masterpiece—a true tranquil oasis surrounded by lush greenery. The infinity pool is stunning, especially in the evening with the subtle lighting. It was the ideal spot to unwind with a cocktail and recharge before dinner. The quiet ambiance belies its central location, making it a peaceful escape.

The pool itself was impressively large, providing ample space for both relaxation and recreation. Whether I wanted to swim laps or simply float and unwind, the pool accommodated all my needs. The surrounding area was spacious, ensuring that guests could enjoy the sun without feeling cramped.

For the price, the location and the pool are unbelievable. We were worried about being too far from the action, but it was perfectly situated. The pool is large, clean, and always quiet in the evenings—perfect for a late, relaxing dip before bed. A top-tier choice for rest and convenience.

The room was super clean and smelled nice when I arrived. It made me feel instantly comfortable. After walking around temples all day, dipping into the pool felt like heaven. I stayed there longer than planned.

The poolside bar serves a refreshing iced ginger tea which was perfect after an afternoon in the temples.

The pool is easily one of the nicest we've encountered in Southeast Asia—it looks exactly like the photos! The proximity to the best restaurants and bars means no long tuk-tuk rides needed after dinner.

All the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The pool, gym, and rooms were all spotless. We felt very well taken care of.

I recently stayed at Angkor Land Urban Boutique and had a fantastic experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a pleasant stay. Its central location was ideal for exploring the city. The staff were always friendly, greeting me with warm smiles and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was impeccably clean throughout my visit. Overall, I highly recommend Angkor Land Urban Boutique for a great stay!

On the surface this hotel is fine. It’s clean, the vast majority of staff are friendly and it is in a good location. That’s basically all the positives. The hotel is very dated. Some room features are in desperate need of an upgrade, whilst others are just not present all. The breakfast was also basic and covered in flies. We booked a room which was supposed to have a TV, city view etc. None of these were present. Apparently all the rooms have had TVs removed as “everyone now uses a smartphone”. We could have seen past this if other basic features worked as expected (such as the door opening on the first attempt - rather than having to stand in corridor for several minutes waiting for the key to work). When these issues were raised, the manager promised complimentary laundry to compensate. We were happy with this and the rest of our 3 night stay was fine. Upon checking out, the manager point blank denied that he made this promise over the phone, leaving us no choice but to pay for the laundry, as we needed to catch a bus. This dishonesty, coupled with the untruthful and inadequate room facilities tainted our stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The majority of the staff at this hotel were more than happy to help whilst we were here and were very friendly. It is a shame that the customer service skills from management are not great. We booked this based on the good score it had but we are honestly not sure how this hotel has obtained such a good score…

El aire acondicionado no servía en mi cuarto, me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación y era más de medianoche. Salió una cucaracha en el baño y la cama estaba dura como una tabla. Aunuqe no la usé, la alberca y a´rea exterior estaba precisosa. Le pongo tres estrellas al hotel solamente porque el personal fue MUY amable..

I really don’t understand why this hotel has such a high rating. On the first day we checked in, we found a gecko in the room, and it was making very loud noises. We had to go downstairs to the front desk for help because there was no telephone in the room. A male staff member came with a can of insect spray. We asked to change rooms, but the next day we found another gecko in the new room as well. On the third day at noon, when we returned to the room, we noticed that although the room had been cleaned, the towels had not been replaced. Later in the afternoon, when we went out again, we informed the staff and asked them to change the towels, and they agreed. However, when we came back to the room in the evening and were about to take a shower, we only realized after taking off our clothes that the towels still had not been changed. We had no choice but to get dressed again and go down to the front desk to complain. Overall, this hotel has very outdated facilities and the service is far from satisfactory.

The bed was huge, the linens were crisp, and we enjoyed some of the best sleep of our trip. However, the quality of the accommodations and service for the price is truly unbeatable in Siem Reap.

There was some refurbishment work taking place close to my room, which I was notified of by a printed note in the room. The noise was not much of a problem as it was taking place during the day. There were flickering lights in places, the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, but as I was only staying 2 nights I made do. The breakfast offering was ok, but generally the facilities were good. Staff were helpful when I needed assistance.

There is no landline in the room, so they give you a card with QR codes so you can message or call the front desk for anything. I messaged the front desk and asked for more towels so that didn’t slip in the bathroom, and never got a response. I would spend a little bit more to have a flawless stay elsewhere nearby.

The manager did try to correct any inefficiencies with our room and we were moved 3x. The last room we didn’t want to say anything but the bed was hard and we had no wifi on the floor we were moved. The breakfast was good. The dinner we had not so much. There were some translation misunderstandings when it came to English. Some of the staff could be better trained.

This could be a 4 star hotel if managed better. Nice building, big rooms and a nice pool area. However it needs to be renovated and refurbished. A lot of friendly young people in the staff, bu they don’t no what they are doing and they ca ’t speak english

We felt like VIPs from the moment we landed. The airport pickup was seamless, and the check-in process was quick and delightful. A special shout-out to Mr. Sopheak, who helped us plan our daily itineraries, securing the best tuk-tuk driver and making dinner reservations. The personal touch at this boutique hotel sets it apart.

The staff were gentle and polite. Not overly talkative, but very supportive when needed. I felt very satisfied. Clean, comfy, friendly, and convenient.

The staff serving breakfast were incredibly sweet and attentive. Even remembered our coffee preferences. After hours at the temples, the pool and quiet ambiance were perfect. Would return.

The location is perfect for exploring Siem Reap. It's just a short walk to Pub Street and the Old Market but far enough away that the neighborhood (Taphul Road) is wonderfully quiet at night. We never needed a tuk-tuk just to grab dinner or explore the main area. The convenience for the price is unbeatable.

One of the aspects we loved was how the hotel manages to be central but still peaceful. You are minutes from restaurants, bars and the night market yet your room is quiet with a view of the pool. Great setup, and room quality was excellent. Would pick this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Angkorland was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is well-maintained, the staff were fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and the Cambodian-style dishes on the breakfast menu.

The pool was a total bonus. I didn’t realize how much I would love having it until I came back each afternoon, sunburned and covered in temple dust. It’s not a huge pool, but it’s really well-kept, and there were never crowds. I often had it to myself, just floating and cooling off. The hotel also had a small restaurant where I had breakfast each day — nothing fancy, but good enough: eggs, toast, fruit, Khmer rice porridge, coffee. The staff even packed me something early one morning when I left at 4:30am for Angkor Wat sunrise. It’s those little touches that made the place stand out.

We ended up dining at the hotel restaurant several times because the food was so tasty and reasonably priced. The Khmer dishes were especially delicious.

Breakfast was served on time, cleanly arranged, and consistently good. I appreciated the fresh fruits every day. They asked about sleep quality and made sure breakfast preferences were noted. That made me feel appreciated.
