HOTEL THE LEBEN OSAKA

Nice hotel and staff but very basic in terms of facilities. Not even a dining room which meant breakfast was to be eaten in the room. It consisted basically of salad, bread and a small smoothie. No other choice. Easily walkable from Osaka station in about 10-15 minutes using the underground street.

Clean and spacious room. There was more room here than at the Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince hotel that we stayed at earlier on our trip. No restaurant on sight, but we ordered the breakfast boxes, and if those are not to your taste, there are kombinis round the corner.

Gutes, sauberes Hotelit ruhigen Zimmern. Sehr zentral gelegen (zwei U-Bahn-Linien in unter 8 Minuten zu erreichen). Das Hotel bietet kein Frühstück an, in der nahegelegenen U-Bahn-Station gibt es jedoch genügend Alternativen. Wer das Zimmer nicht verlassen möchte, kann sich ein Frühstück für den nächsten Tag auf das Zimmer bestellen. Wir haben das versucht und man bekommt eine Tasche mit einem leckeren Früstück (bei uns waren es Weißbrot, Eiersalat, Salat, Frischkäse, Butter und Marmelade) vor die Tür gestellt. Wirklich prima. Für eine Städtereise nach Osaka, ein sehr gutes Hotel. PS: Wir fanden es toll, das man sich den Status der Münzwaschmaschinen (3 Stück) über den Ferseher im Zimmer anzeigen lassen kann. So konnten wir bequem unsere Wäsche waschen, sobald eine Maschine frei war.

The property is beautiful and in a great location. The staff are wonderful as well and very kind. The hotel has laundry rooms at some floors which is nice and offer great refreshments at the lobby. I wish the hotel had its own breakfast area instead of offering boxed breakfast, but it was a free offering and helpful.

There only 3 coin laundry machines in the hotel. It is always occupied in the evening Need to increase more coin laundry machine

It was easily walkable to some of the main areas of Osaka. The room was the biggest size of all the hotels we had stayed at during our trip to Japan. Hotel amenities are lacking in terms of no gym but otherwise would stay again!

This hotel is so clean, modern, amazing range of amenities and drink station and helpful staff. Just needs more washing machines, it's a real let down when guests are using three of them for the whole hotel.

Beautiful properly albeit a bit dirty. Clean where it really matters, but they really need to deep clean the carpets. Large stains in both the halls and the rooms. Great location, but a bit of a walk to train lines.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. We loved the whole interior design that felt very high end and welcoming. The rooms were also very nice and comfortable, loved the shampoos & conditioners as well as sleeping robe! I didn’t know that but our hotel room actually included breakfast that they serve into the room (they don’t have breakfast restaurant). One thing I didn’t like is that I felt the room was quite warm during the night and I could not find any settings to cool down if there was any… the room smelled a bit moldy which I think is not ideal for lungs well being. As far as location I really enjoyed everything was walkable : the downtown, many restaurants and coffee around including a few massage places.

I was debating between Namba and Umeda for accommodation, and I decided on this place. I don't regret it. The subway station is about a five-minute walk away, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, supermarkets, and McDonald's nearby, making it a great location. The hotel was extremely clean from top to bottom. It must have been newly opened. The staff greeted me with a smile every time I passed by the lobby, and I felt they were very friendly. They offered razors, toothbrushes, and other items for me to take from the lobby, and there were plenty in the guestroom bathroom. The bathroom was very clean, the bathroom was spacious enough, and the folding chair at the sink was a nice touch. The slippers were sturdy, not disposable, which was nice (they were disinfected, of course). The ample hangers, storage space, and large smart TV seemed like a nice touch. If I ever return to Osaka, I would definitely choose this place.

Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Great bed, bathroom, and service across the board. In a really great area as well walkable to the most popular areas of Osaka. Highly recommend!

Clean and rooms are quite large. Hotel design was great and enjoyed the provided extras in the lobby (tea, infused waters, toiletries). Breakfast was good - liked that it was a variety and spread toppings for the bread were different everyday. Area is convenient, close distance to subway and walkable to major attractions. It's also quiet and frees very safe. Big 7/11 was located right next door. Highly recommend and would stay here again for my next trip to Osaka!

Check-in was a breeze, room was clean and of good size for a family of four. Very conveniently located to great neighborhoods for exploration.

Great hotel with convenient location - clean, modern and friendly staff. We stayed in the 2 x double bed room with small living area and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, especially for Japan. The shower was great + there was a bath tub (great for soaking after a long day of walking). If you want to be close to Dontoburi, this hotel is about 15-20 min walk away, which can be a bit tiring to walk home after a long day. Only downside is the hotel does not have a gym (for those who require one). Loved the overall aesthetics- felt nice coming home everyday.

Good value, good location. Very spacious. My only complain is with the AC. But unfortunately its very important for me. The first major problem is that the remote was in japanese. with 10 different buttons. Using google translate was okay but it was very hard to navigate it and i had to constantly opened up the app to remember what each button said. The second, and most important problem was tha t I like to sleep in a cold room (18C) with constant airflow. This was actually not possible in this room. if I chose to set the room on cooling and choose the lowest temperature the AC constantly shut itself off once it reached that temperature only to restart 5 mins later and then turn off again etc. So while it kept the room cold it didn't allow for airflow and the noise of starting it up and stopping made sleeping a challenge. If I instead chose to go for airflow i had to settle for neither warm nor cool air. Which in practice means the room gets warmer as the night goes on. This is still the one i chose but was forced to wake up every 1-2h to blast cooling, wait for it to get cold and set back to airflow. This is the first time in many years of travelling that I faced this problem. Which is a shame as the stay was otherwise perfect. There is also no room service past 1pm so if you wanna go out and like to sleep in past 12 you're not getting housekeeping. I wouldn't stay again which is a shame as I really enjoyed everything else and the staff was extremely polite and kind.

Fantastic modern hotel, we stayed in a family room as a family of four and our room was very spacious, plenty of space compared to some Japanese hotels. The walk in shower was a great feature to have as well as the separate toilet. Staff were all super friendly, polite and helpful. Although there was no dining facilities in the hotel, there is the option of ordering a take out breakfast from the hotel but there are so many eateries literally a stones throw from the hotel in any direction, finding something to eat was not a problem. There are several convenience stores just a few hundred yards from the hotel which are open 24 hours and also a 24 hr supermarket which is just a few minutes walk away. There are several subway stations about 5 mins walk away and it’s only a short 10 minute walk into Dotonbori. The hotel was very clean and modern and the area felt very safe to walk around even late at night. We arrived before check in time and it was no problem to leave our bags with reception whilst we went to explore the area before check in time, and when we returned to check in, we found that our bags had already been taken to our room. We were also able to leave our bags securely on check out so again we could go out for the day without having to haul our luggage about with us. We would definitely book here again and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I understand it was the last week of World Expo, but it was a bit much to charge over US$320/night for a double standard room (30sqm) with no view and frosted window only. You cannot see outside whatsoever. My friend on the 14th floor had the same problem. Also for 1 night they did not have the room type that I booked for and their English wasn't really good enough to explain anything. Japan is not really good at thinking on their feet overall. The hotel itself was fine but with this price point I think there are options with better location.

Very noisy air conditioner. We didn’t have good rest in the hotel. Overall poor quality given the price.

We stayed for 3 nights. I would rate this hotel as PERFECT. There are a few great things: - Super quiet. I am extremely sensitive to noise, so big kudos to this. - Great location. 4 min from Nagahoribashi station, and 8min from Shinsaibashi station. Walkable distance to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping area. - Friendly and multi-lingual front desk. - Clean and spacious room. It's an extremely big hotel room in Japan. I will stay here again the next time visiting osaka.

酒店比較新、浴室乾淨、地理位置方便、酒店職員英文比較好！ 不過感到失望的是，我兩大一細連住四天三晚，酒店安排我們入住一間只有一個4x4呎的假窗的房間，感覺完全似是一個密室，沒什麼自然光和光線度不足，令室內氛圍相當陰暗。 住宿中途只要求make up room一次，但竟然沒有添加補充紙巾。 不比民宿好！

The staff at this hotel were amazing. I observed a staff member helping a gentleman bring his suitcase into the hotel. Then the staff member went off to grab a towel to wipe it down since it was wet from the rain outside. Another staff member called a cab for us and actually walked us out under an umbrella to shield us from the rain. All of that was above and beyond my expectations. They were always courteous and smiling as well.

Highly recommend! Such a great hotel in Osaka! We love the location and the staff were incredible!

Amazing amazing stay at hotel Leben. Location was great and near to Dotonbori w lots of food options around. Hotel staff was extremely attentive to our requests and we truly enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely return!

The leben Osaka hotel offers a convenient location in Osaka, however, my experience with their front desk staff was inconsistent. While some were friendly and accommodating, others seemed disinterested. During my visit, I arrived early and was surprised to be charged for an hour of early check-in. This policy felt excessive compared to other hotels in the area. Considering these factors, I would recommend exploring other accommodation options nearby.

住了6晚，第2晚女兒高燒不退需看醫生。由於當時是星期六傍晚，很多診所關門了，酒店職員非常熱心地幫我打電話問，最後更陪我們去了醫院，實在十分感謝那位會說普通話的女職員。此外，酒店房間寬敞舒適，交通非常方便，步行2分鐘便到地鐵站。酒店對面就有7-11，用debit card提款很方便。下次再去大阪，絕對會再住這酒店。

The hotel was in a great location, quiet but easily accessible to great places to eat. The hotel staff were excellent, always very helpful and accommodating. They had great recommendations and were always very helpful.

From the moment me and my family arrived we felt so welcomed by the staff . Check in was fast and easy. The staff speaks and understands multiple languages. The staff is so helpful and went above and beyond for me when I did not know how to use the thermostat remote . The front desk staff actually came to my room and showed me how everything worked . The rooms are spacious and modern . The room comes fully equipped with a refrigerator and of course the amazing Japanese toilet. Also the hotel has a coin laundry on 3 different floors and you can view your laundry time on the tv . The hotel is centrally located within 3 min walk of all restaurants and shopping . And 1 min walk to the train station . Also if you need a taxi the front desk will get one for you . I would highly recommend that you book this hotel if you are going to Osaka .

Larger than average rooms and comveniently located near the trains. Easy walk to dotonburi too!

Spacious hotel room, friendly and helpful staff. Walkable to nearby attractions like shinsaibashi street and dontonbori with many shopping and eateries.

The hotel is modern and clean with plenty of ammenities. Best thing about it is the location. We were able to walk to many convenient places like Dotonbouri. I definitely would stay here again.

This place was so cute and smells like a spa when you go in with some simple beverage offerings on the ground floor. Our rooms were very clean and we loved how close we were to Dotonbori, easy walk of 10-15 mins. But yet situated outside of the crazy busy crowded areas. We would love to come back and stay here again!

The hotel is very elegant. The staff is beyond professional and kind. Although the hotel isn’t in the center of the tourist area, it is 15 minutes walking. Access to public transportation is close. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but a very complete and varied breakfast box is brought to your hotel room door. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are friendly but the breakfast choice is limited. It would be much better if they serve a buffet breakfast or provide few meal set options. Overall the staying experience is quite nice.
