They canceled my room I booked through hotels.com. I had a confirmation number and everything. I received the message after my flight and after a $30 uber to the property. Said it was because of a glitch. The guy at the front desk was nice enough to call some local hotels to see if they had another room. But, I was away from home in a city I didn’t know with no room at no fault of my own. Thus, the one star.

When we walked in, the lobby smelled horrible. Then, when we got our keys and stepped into the elevator waiting area, it reeked of weed. Our room was fine and smelled normal, but by the morning, weed and almost body odor type smell seeped into our room. We do not smoke, but for a place that makes you sign a no smoking $250 fee paper, it doesn’t seem that they uphold that expectation. No extra pillows and only two on the bed. No extra linens. It was worth it for the price we paid for a spot to sleep overnight, but not sure if we’d stay here again. The staff was friendly, but the physical state of the place is the reason for the not-so-positive review.

A guest was paying in cash for a week at the desk, and making arrangements for her next pay period-I knew we were in trouble. When we entered the room, I went to turn on the A/C and bugs scattered everywhere! We turned and left-letting the on-duty staff know the reason why. She sadly nodded in acknowledgment.
