This is the ideal location when you are looking for a practical stay that includes a kitchenette and full refrigerator. It's no frills and very clean and also offers extra security with the front lobby locking at 10:00pm. Room lighting could be improved (less institutional).Great place to have a pet.

The kitchenette was perfect for us! Sad there was no pool or breakfast though. And the laundry facilities left stains on some of our clothes! Super bummed. Maybe ask front desk to be a little nicer at times as well. One lady wasn’t very nice. And really wish there was a place to sit down outside while I’m smoking.. even a bench would be nice..

No coffee in rooms had to go down to lobby and only certain times. Because it was weekend no cleaning crew. Needed towels and again had to bring down our dirty towels before we could get clean ones. No ice machines. It was just alot of inconveniences and elevator was slow as molasses. On a good note the room was spotless.

Pros: Front desk staff very friendly. Hotel is brand new and clean. Con: No ice machine, so we had to drink our drinks warm when we arrived. We had 3 rooms, two had maintenance issues construction related. We fixed our window casing problem ourself, and had to have maintenance fix a faucet. Hallway and elevator smelled like weed. No hair dryer in room, front desk has limited hours and was not available to ask for one.

We have stayed at Woodspring Suites twice now. The rooms have been clean and convenient. Our dog has be welcomed--which we appreciate. We would give 5 stars al around if there was coffee available earlier in the morning. There is one coffee machine in the lobby, but it is not operating until 8am. I hope that can be changed.

I accidentally spilled a cup of water on the floor. Not only were there no paper towels or even tissues to clean it up, but when I used a washcloth it came up FILTHY, like the floor had not been mopped in a VERY long time. Gross.

This place is spotless , they even wash the bedspreads every time . I have stayed in a lot of high priced places , this place is cheep and spotless . I will keep staying here every time I need a place for a few nights ! Office lady is awesome !!!

I wasn't familiar with an extended stay hotel prior to this stay. The front desk was "closed" when we arrived however there was a phone to dial for assistance and the clerk responded quickly and was very nice, informative, professional and prepared. Check in was very quick. Our stay was only one night and I honestly felt guilty because we had a late arrival and our special needs child was full of energy and was loud when we first got into our room. We eventually got our child settled and we slept well. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. We truly appreciated the full size fridge as we need it (and a freezer) when traveling with our child. The only complaint we have is that the floors were filthy. After showering in the morning, my feet were absolutely gross from walking around the room packing up our things and I had to wash them again with a wash cloth before putting on my socks and shoes. Other than that, we were very happy with the property.

The rooms were very clean including the bathroom rooms. The love the accommodation in the suite which helped to make it more affordable. The Staff members were very polite and efficient. They made the visit enjoyable.

This is a good value place to sleep. The focus is clearly on longer term stays: each room has a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and there is plenty of cupboard and storage space. However, no kitchen supplies are provided, though a kit is available for sale at the desk. There isn’t even the usual coffee maker in the room, nor an ironing board, nor a hair dryer. Still the room was sparkling clean and quite comfortable - though the mattress was way too soft for me. It actually felt worn out. Walls are thin and we could hear people talking, but it didn’t get out of hand. Overall, the impression was sort of up-scale boarding house. Obviously, we didn’t mind as this was our second stay. Compared to other places nearby, it’s in better condition, cleaner, and a good value at the Hotels.com price (which was substantially less than the price on the hotel website).

Staying here was a bit like flying Jet Blue or Frontier...it's fine, but it's completely no frills, so you get what you pay for. Very weird that there was a full kitchen but not a single bit of silverware/cups/bowls/plates in sight. I had to request a to go cup to make a cup of instant coffee in the microwave. (No hair dryer either.) I wasn't given directions for the Wifi when I checked in and never was able to figure the free version out... Very thin walls

This property is located close to malls and dining. Hand towels and kitchen towels were not available. Cooking utensils, pots, and pans were available for an additional charge. Free wifi was clocked in at 2 Mbs and had to be renewed daily. Other wifi options were available at an additional cost.

Pros: the room was clean, bed comfortable, easy parking, the room was up to date. The front desk was very helpful resolving an issue I encountered. Cons: if you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. Any sound carriers up through the floor. At times I could hear the conversation being said, not muffled, literally I could hear what was being said. The people weren't exceptionally loud just a matter of no carpeting and all hard surfaces allows sound to easily travel. My lesson is to closely review room pictures and avoid rooms like this.

Don’t book through Expedia. They couldn’t find my reservation at all and we almost didn’t have a room for the night. The guy at the front desk said this is a reoccurring issue with using Expedia. The room was clean and you can tell the hotel is pretty new but the beds are rock solid.

Travel delays caused late arrival. Front desk was closed, so I used a phone to contact reception. I was told they woud come right away, but waited 10 minutes before someone showed up.

Friendliest front desk staff. A gentleman when I checked in and a woman when I checked out. The only thing is there's not always someone at the front desk (during the hours there says there is, as they're busy), so you may have to wait at the desk for them to come back. The room was FANTASTIC! Like a little apartment. The gentleman at check in gave me the 4th floor so that I didn't have anyone above me, since he heard I had a rough day (car broke down and I was stranded away from my destination - Detroit - en route from Wisconsin). The room was spotless and the hotel itself looks brand new. Absolutely zero complaints. I had to wait for my car to be ready for pickup from the dealership about an hour after checkout and asked the front desk woman if I could stay in the lobby. I had luggage, a couple of backpacks and my purse, as I broke down while on vacation, and she was more than willing to say, "Yes! No problem." Which made my life so much easier. Otherwise I would've had to take an Uber to the dealership and wait until my car was ready or go to a restaurant or something, wandering aimlessly.

I had called two days prior in the afternoon to prearrange a late check and the woman who helped on the call was very friendly. However, when we arrived the woman working on third shift was extremely rude. She treated me like l was an inconvenience and bothering her by needed to check in. At the counter she didn’t acknowledge me, say hello, ask for my name or anything. instead she just said “where’s your license” and then snatched it from my hand. She then handed paperwork to me and said “sign this here”, then tossed the key packet on the counter afterwards. I didn’t get a copy of anything or my info around the stay. I have never been treated so poorly at a Hotel before. Room itself was quite clean, however the bathroom had no hand towels and didn’t have a soap dish to put the bar of hand soap after using it. There also wasn’t enough bath towels for 4 adults, but we weren’t going to ask for more after the treatment I already had received. When we checked out Saturday morning at 9:30am the front desk was still locked up. There wasn’t a sign saying if we needed to leave the room keys or how to get a copy of our receipt. Luckily only needed the room for overnight, and will not ever return as this was unacceptable treatment and had subpar amenities/accommodation for $200+ a night

No one was available at thecfront desk when I arrived before 10 pm. I had to wait in the lobby for around 15 minutes before I check in. After checking, I was unable to locate the room and came back to front desk. But no one was available there that time. When I dialled the 500 number to get front desk support, it was continuously giving busy tine. I had to call the reservation desk support on phone and they were able to get a front desk person only after 45 minutes. Overall I waited more than an hour in the front desk before ai could enter my room.

The amenities are excellent for the price - my room had two burners and a full sized fridge, with fairly ample counter space and several drawers. The hotel is very close to a Whole Foods, Meijer, and Walmart, as well as some locally-owned and chain restaurants. Downtown Grand Rapids is very easy to drive to from here.

Perfectly little spot for a quick trip to Grand Rapids for a concert. Very easy drive into the city. Immaculately clean and brand new. Beds are comfortable, wifi works great. Hotel is a very quiet area, with many chain-places to eat around it. (Also recommend Cindy's Donuts, which is very near by) Price is right for a no-frills, safe, clean stay. 10/10.

This is a good value place to sleep. The focus is clearly on longer term stays: each room has a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and there is plenty of cupboard and storage space. However, no kitchen supplies are provided, though a kit is available for sale at the desk. There isn’t even the usual coffee maker in the room, nor an ironing board, nor a hair dryer. Still the room was sparkling clean and quite comfortable - though the mattress was way too soft for me. It actually felt worn out. Walls are thin and we could hear people talking, but it didn’t get out of hand. Overall, the impression was sort of up-scale boarding house. Obviously, we didn’t mind as this was our second stay. Compared to other places nearby, it’s in better condition, cleaner, and a good value at the Hotels.com price (which was substantially less than the price on the hotel website).

The room was very clean. The bed was uncomfortable with no box spring under mattress. No coffee maker in the room, no coffee in the lobby until 9am, unfriendly staff at check-in. The room and facility was great. I would just want to let others know that there is not a coffee pot in the room nor any continental breakfast offered. The lobby has a brew coffee pot but there were not any cups available, nor did anyone unlock the cabinet at 8am per the sign.

The room was clean. The kitchenette was convenient BUT there were no pans, plates, cups, silverware etc. If you wanted pans you could rent them for 30 bucks which was just odd. NO blow-dryer in the bathroom which was really inconvenient. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable and only 2 per bed. The hotel itself was clean and the front desk guy who checked us in was very nice and friendly. Very secure as you need your room key to move throughout the hotel.

Undvik! Trevlig personal och rent rum MEN typen av folk som bor här känns lite tveksamt. Oisolerade rum, du hör TV, konversationer och även snarkningar som om det vore i ditt rum. Ljud utifrån är också störande. Hade inga otrevligheter men kände mig inte bekväm med många av de övriga gästerna. Skulle inte bo här igen!

The front desk lady is very rude. We booked online and paid for a room. When my husband arrived, she told him that we had to pay that we had only reserved. She said that she was going to remove all of his items from his room and throw it out, even though he had a receipt stating that he had paid for the room we had to then pay for the room that we had already paid for again and she said we had to deal with a manager who wasn’t going to be in for several days. Housekeeping is not included in the price that you pay for your rooms nor is clean towels. Vending machines do not work. There is no ice machines. There is no coffee. There are no coffee pots in any of the rooms. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We are still fighting to get our money back for the five nights that we paid for that they made us pay twice. I highly recommend that you do not stay here. I will say the kitchen is nice, especially for someone who is traveling. That is the only positive comment I have about this place. Otherwise sadly, this has been the rudest nastiest place I have ever stayed in my entire life.!
