Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice condo. The view is lovely...if only there was a comfortable way to view it. Every other lani had a chase lounge, except this one. The King bed was comfortable (though a bit hard to turn in as it is memory foam). We barely used the kitchen so can't speak on that, but it seemed to be well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was not great, but it was a nice big walk in shower. You can't use the towels at the pool because this condo is privately owned. There are only 5 beach towels provided, so you have to wash the towels if you're doing a lot of swimming. The amenities on the property are wonderful, especially for a family: ping pong, putt putt golf, crochet, tennis. Plus the condo provides some coffee and plenty of laundry and first aid supplies. There are also several beach chairs and an umbrella available. All in all, we loved the property, but a comfortable place to put your feet up on the lani would have been preferable. If we go again, we would probably choose a different condo that was owned by the resort as there is a slight feeling you get from the staff that you are not really part of the resort because you are in a privately owned condo.

Jared a été très accommodant. Nous avions demandé une arrivée hâtive et il nous l’avons obtenu. Nous avons eu une évacuation due au tsunami du 29 juillet et le personnel du resort nous ont donné l’information en venant directement à notre porte. Heureusement plus de peur que de mal.Le condo est confortable pour 4 personnes. Le lit escamotable a un bon matelas. Petit point négatif pour l’air climatisé qui se rend mal dans la chambre. Les coqs chantent à tout heure du jour et de la nuit alors c’est bien de fermer les fenêtres. Sinon nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Les restaurants et les boutiques sont à distance de marche, la piscine et le spa sont super, la plage est tout près.Bref, nous y retournerons sans hésiter!

Beautiful, clean grounds just steps from the ocean. The sun rise in the morning is the most amazing sight. It was our daughters 14th birthday- the resort offers plenty of activities, the unit is just steps from the pool, with laundry and bbq's just steps away from the unit. Jared is a fantastic host to deal with, answers questions almost immediately- and offers many tips on restaurants and things to see and do. Overall 11/ 10 rating. The absolute only negative i could possibly say is the patio chairs could use cushions. However, that by no means had any real impact on our vacation. The room was fully stocked with boogy boards, snorkels, lawn chairs and a cooler for snacks and drinks. I would recommend this property and unit to anyone i know who would like to visit the beautiful island of Kauai. Thanks Jared!

We were so impressed with the location an property for our weekend girls trip! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. The pool and hot tub were open later than I expected, which meant we got to explore all day, and also enjoy the amenities. Appreciated the beach chairs at the rental that we could take with up for a day of exploring. The unit was clean and well cared for. If I go back to Kauai, I'd stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo! The beach in front of it was clean and not crowded, plus it had the best sunrises! Other guests would bring their cup of coffee and just sit by the water, watching the sunrise. There was a paved walk in front of the resort where the public could walk or ride bikes, but it was never noisy. The AC was great to have on those hot afternoons. With the king-size bed in the main level, the queen bed and twin bed in the loft, we had more than enough room for the four of us. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were useful. The only drawback was having one bathroom and the laundry not being in the unit, but those were managable. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Kauai is our favorite island!

This was our second stay at this condo and it was a great visit. The location is very convenient - right off the walk/bike path and a short walk to coffee, juices, meals, and shops. The unit was super clean and nice extras included (chairs, towels, etc). The grounds are meticulously maintained as well. Highly recommended!

Emplacement parfait pour faire le trajet vers le Nord ou vers le Sud de l'île. Beaucoup de commodités à proximité (restaurants, food trucks, supermarché). Plage à deux pas. Piscine et spa bien apprécié des enfants. Elles y allaient directement du jardin. Très pratique ! L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Les matelas et oreillers sont très confortables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour pour la cuisine, pour la literie, pour la plage. On est allé avec une autre famille qui ont aussi loué dans le complexe : dans leur appartement, ils n'y avaient pas de serviette de plage, pas de parasol, etc. et le chech-in était beaucoup plus tard. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles au cas où : les murs sont fins et les coqs sont partout sur l'île. Le complexe hôtelier est aussi bien équipé : machine à laver, sécheuse, barbecue, hamac, jeux extérieurs, salle d'entraînement... Check-in / out très facile. Jared répond très vite à ses messages. Très bon hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

This is a nice 2br condo with 2 floors. Well equipped and right on the beach. The only negative was the fact that there are literally no comfortable seating options anywhere in the condo. We found ourselves lying on the bed mostly for comfort. The 2nd floor bed mattress is very thin and needs a replacement. The grounds are nice. There is a nice hot tub but so many chemicals that it burned your eyes. A note for future guests, this is a privately owned condo so therefore you can’t use the resort provided pool toys, towels etc. The unit has beach towels and chairs but they are mismatch. A few simple improvements and this is 5 star condo. The area itself is very rustic and there are lots of food trucks but I can’t say we were comfortable walking at night, it felt a little gettoish.

Great location. Rooms all had fans and AC. Bed was too soft for me but others might like. The apartment is dated and we had issues with the sliding door but other than that everything was fine. Property is great. Pool,hot tub, walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.
Great location. Rooms all had fans and AC. Bed was too soft for me but others might like. The apartment is dated and we had issues with the sliding door but other than that everything was fine. Property is great. Pool,hot tub, walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

This was our second stay at this condo and it was a great visit. The location is very convenient - right off the walk/bike path and a short walk to coffee, juices, meals, and shops. The unit was super clean and nice extras included (chairs, towels, etc). The grounds are meticulously maintained as well. Highly recommended!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice condo. The view is lovely...if only there was a comfortable way to view it. Every other lani had a chase lounge, except this one. The King bed was comfortable (though a bit hard to turn in as it is memory foam). We barely used the kitchen so can't speak on that, but it seemed to be well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was not great, but it was a nice big walk in shower. You can't use the towels at the pool because this condo is privately owned. There are only 5 beach towels provided, so you have to wash the towels if you're doing a lot of swimming. The amenities on the property are wonderful, especially for a family: ping pong, putt putt golf, crochet, tennis. Plus the condo provides some coffee and plenty of laundry and first aid supplies. There are also several beach chairs and an umbrella available. All in all, we loved the property, but a comfortable place to put your feet up on the lani would have been preferable. If we go again, we would probably choose a different condo that was owned by the resort as there is a slight feeling you get from the staff that you are not really part of the resort because you are in a privately owned condo.

Living room chairs and the couch were not very comfortable but they were clean and in good condition. We did not use the loft. I would have liked a 2nd TV in the bedroom.

Jared a été très accommodant. Nous avions demandé une arrivée hâtive et il nous l’avons obtenu. Nous avons eu une évacuation due au tsunami du 29 juillet et le personnel du resort nous ont donné l’information en venant directement à notre porte. Heureusement plus de peur que de mal.Le condo est confortable pour 4 personnes. Le lit escamotable a un bon matelas. Petit point négatif pour l’air climatisé qui se rend mal dans la chambre. Les coqs chantent à tout heure du jour et de la nuit alors c’est bien de fermer les fenêtres. Sinon nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Les restaurants et les boutiques sont à distance de marche, la piscine et le spa sont super, la plage est tout près.Bref, nous y retournerons sans hésiter!

With the king-size bed in the main level, the queen bed and twin bed in the loft, we had more than enough room for the four of us. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were useful. The only drawback was having one bathroom and the laundry not being in the unit, but those were managable. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Kauai is our favorite island!

I would have given this place higher rating if the living room furniture was minimally comfortable. The 2 wicker chairs are so uncomfortable, they belong outside or something; they were awful. The couch was very small and uncomfortable as well. So, our family couldn't even sit in the living room comfortably. I just don't understand why the owners can't realize that people spend this much money on a condo, why wouldn't they think they'd like to be comfortable after a long day of being out and about. All they would have to do is get a sectional or even a couple of recliners and would make this so much better. On the flip side, I'm so glad there was A/C, even though it was inconsistent, we still were able to stay cool. So, don't believe anyone that tells you that you don't need a/c in Hawaii, as they are either not being sincere, or they are used to sleeping in high humidity outside or something. If you are used to sleeping warm or lots of humidity, then you'd be fine. This location was very good as a base, in that we could go north or south and cover alot of ground. That and there were numerous affordable eating locations that were really good. I would have liked to stay in the north, as it's prettier, but affordable restaurant selections were hard to find, and the area seemed to be very crowded. FYI, beach is really not optimum for swimming, as the water is not clear, lots of debris swirling around; but is great for the sounds and view.

Emplacement parfait pour faire le trajet vers le Nord ou vers le Sud de l'île. Beaucoup de commodités à proximité (restaurants, food trucks, supermarché). Plage à deux pas. Piscine et spa bien apprécié des enfants. Elles y allaient directement du jardin. Très pratique ! L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Les matelas et oreillers sont très confortables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour pour la cuisine, pour la literie, pour la plage. On est allé avec une autre famille qui ont aussi loué dans le complexe : dans leur appartement, ils n'y avaient pas de serviette de plage, pas de parasol, etc. et le chech-in était beaucoup plus tard. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles au cas où : les murs sont fins et les coqs sont partout sur l'île. Le complexe hôtelier est aussi bien équipé : machine à laver, sécheuse, barbecue, hamac, jeux extérieurs, salle d'entraînement... Check-in / out très facile. Jared répond très vite à ses messages. Très bon hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Staying in Kapa'a gave easy access to the whole island as it is centrally located, and only 15 minutes from the airport. Even though it is clearly not a new building, the property was clean and accommodating. Garden Island Properties was great to deal with when I had a question (Claire was particularly helpful). We would happily stay again!

Have stayed at the resort multiple times, not via VRBO. This owner has updated the property. We had an issue with the shower faucet and the owner responded almost instantly and made sure the issue was resolved. The communication was excellent. Liked the extras in the room that we were able to use; beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and sand toys. Would definitely rent with this owner and unit again.

Beautiful, clean grounds just steps from the ocean. The sun rise in the morning is the most amazing sight. It was our daughters 14th birthday- the resort offers plenty of activities, the unit is just steps from the pool, with laundry and bbq's just steps away from the unit. Jared is a fantastic host to deal with, answers questions almost immediately- and offers many tips on restaurants and things to see and do. Overall 11/ 10 rating. The absolute only negative i could possibly say is the patio chairs could use cushions. However, that by no means had any real impact on our vacation. The room was fully stocked with boogy boards, snorkels, lawn chairs and a cooler for snacks and drinks. Beautiful, clean grounds just steps from the ocean. The sun rise in the morning is the most amazing sight. It was our daughters 14th birthday- the resort offers plenty of activities, the unit is just steps from the pool, with laundry and bbq's just steps away from the unit. Jared is a fantastic host to deal with, answers questions almost immediately- and offers many tips on restaurants and things to see and do. Overall 11/ 10 rating. The absolute only negative i could possibly say is the patio chairs could use cushions. However, that by no means had any real impact on our vacation. The room was fully stocked with boogy boards, snorkels, lawn chairs and a cooler for snacks and drinks. I would recommend this property and unit to anyone i know who would like to visit the beautiful island of Kauai. Thanks Jared!

Jared’s condo was clean, spacious, and close to amenities. He was a very responsive host and answered our questions promptly. Kauai is absolutely beautiful and we would love to stay at Jared’s condo again.

Emplacement parfait pour faire le trajet vers le Nord ou vers le Sud de l'île. Beaucoup de commodités à proximité (restaurants, food trucks, supermarché). Plage à deux pas. Piscine et spa bien apprécié des enfants. Elles y allaient directement du jardin. Très pratique ! L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Les matelas et oreillers sont très confortables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour pour la cuisine, pour la literie, pour la plage. On est allé avec une autre famille qui ont aussi loué dans le complexe : dans leur appartement, ils n'y avaient pas de serviette de plage, pas de parasol, etc. et le chech-in était beaucoup plus tard. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles au cas où : les murs sont fins et les coqs sont partout sur l'île. Le complexe hôtelier est aussi bien équipé : machine à laver, sécheuse, barbecue, hamac, jeux extérieurs, salle d'entraînement... Check-in / out très facile. Jared répond très vite à ses messages. Très bon hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

This was the perfect location. Loved getting up every morning and walking the path along the ocean. There is a grocery store just down the street and lots of restaurants you can walk to. Downtown Kapaa is right on the other side of the condos. We did cook several meals and found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. We definitely would stay here again.

The apartment was clean and inviting. The resort was well landscaped and pleasant although we didn't use any of the facilities. The location is convenient for going north or south on the island. Unfortunately it was very windy while we were there, so we didn't get to take much advantage of the wonderful bike/walkway that is next to the ocean behind the resort.

Staying in Kapa'a gave easy access to the whole island as it is centrally located, and only 15 minutes from the airport. Even though it is clearly not a new building, the property was clean and accommodating. Garden Island Properties was great to deal with when I had a question (Claire was particularly helpful). We would happily stay again!

We were so impressed with the location an property for our weekend girls trip! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. The pool and hot tub were open later than I expected, which meant we got to explore all day, and also enjoy the amenities. Appreciated the beach chairs at the rental that we could take with up for a day of exploring. The unit was clean and well cared for. If I go back to Kauai, I'd stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo! The beach in front of it was clean and not crowded, plus it had the best sunrises! Other guests would bring their cup of coffee and just sit by the water, watching the sunrise. There was a paved walk in front of the resort where the public could walk or ride bikes, but it was never noisy. The AC was great to have on those hot afternoons. With the king-size bed in the main level, the queen bed and twin bed in the loft, we had more than enough room for the four of us. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were useful. The only drawback was having one bathroom and the laundry not being in the unit, but those were managable. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Kauai is our favorite island!

We really loved our stay at this property. The room itself was clean and solid and the kitchen was super well-stocked. I'm so glad that they left a bunch of the spices and odds and ends that people probably gathered when they cooked in it, as all those things made the kitchen far more usable. Also, when we found that there weren't dishwasher pods in the kitchen, the owner actually gave us plenty of money in a refund for us to get our own, and since we were out so much, that was easy for us to do. They responded really well to our problem and were good about being generous on how to solve it when the housekeeper was across the island and unable to get to us in a timely manner. The hottub on the property was a great way to get to talk to a lot of other travelers. The location was right on the edge of a small town, with lots of fun stuff just in walking distance, and instant access to the main road around the island. And being at the mid-point meant that going north and doing west was equally easy. We've done Poipu before, but this was so much nicer, and more mixed into the actual residents of this island instead of just a resort dislocated from the rest of the island. I would so recommend this instead of Poipu, if you want to go to Poipu beach, it's an easy drive from here, too, and there are even beaches just on one side of the whole complex, some with protection from the surf to make swimming much less hazardous than on other parts of the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice condo. The view is lovely...if only there was a comfortable way to view it. Every other lani had a chase lounge, except this one. The King bed was comfortable (though a bit hard to turn in as it is memory foam). We barely used the kitchen so can't speak on that, but it seemed to be well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was not great, but it was a nice big walk in shower. You can't use the towels at the pool because this condo is privately owned. There are only 5 beach towels provided, so you have to wash the towels if you're doing a lot of swimming. The amenities on the property are wonderful, especially for a family: ping pong, putt putt golf, crochet, tennis. Plus the condo provides some coffee and plenty of laundry and first aid supplies. There are also several beach chairs and an umbrella available. All in all, we loved the property, but a comfortable place to put your feet up on the lani would have been preferable. If we go again, we would probably choose a different condo that was owned by the resort as there is a slight feeling you get from the staff that you are not really part of the resort because you are in a privately owned condo.

The air conditioning had multiple controls and they were well labeled. The lights and fans were also well labeled and there was no question about how to make something work. The kitchen had more implements than any other unit I have rented. Not only was there a corkscrew for the wine bottles, but it also had a wine bottle stopper. There were more cooking items in the kitchen than I have in my home. The closet had an ice chest and items for the pool but we didn't use them. The bed felt mushy & I thought I would have trouble sleeping but even though we use a hard bed at home, we had no trouble sleeping and no back problems in the morning. Living room chairs and the couch were not very comfortable but they were clean and in good condition. We did not use the loft. I would have liked a 2nd TV in the bedroom.

I could have lived on the balcony. I watched the sunrise every morning which meant during the heat of the day the sun was on the other side of the building. Listening to the loud crashing of the waves while on the balcony was wonderful. I did a lot of work on the balcony and there was no problem with the internet. Ditto with inside the unit. Not only was there a corkscrew for the wine bottles, but it also had a wine bottle stopper for when the cork doesn't come out cleanly. There were more cooking items in the kitchen than I have in my home. The closet had an ice chest and items for the pool but we didn't use them. The bed felt mushy & I thought I would have trouble sleeping but even though we use a hard bed at home, we had no trouble sleeping and no back problems in the morning. Living room chairs and the couch were not very comfortable but they were clean and in good condition. We did not use the loft.
I could have lived on the balcony. I watched the sunrise every morning which meant during the heat of the day the sun was on the other side of the building. Listening to the loud crashing of the waves while on the balcony was wonderful. I did a lot of work on the balcony and there was no problem with the internet. Ditto with inside the unit. The connection and speed were great. It was nice walking to the food trucks, restaurants and clothing shops on the edge of the property. The grounds were well kept, and I always felt safe. The air conditioning had multiple controls and they were well labeled. The lights and fans were also well labeled and there was no question about how to make something work. The kitchen had more implements than any other unit I have rented. This was our second stay at this condo and it was a great visit. The location is very convenient - right off the walk/bike path and a short walk to coffee, juices, meals, and shops. The unit was super clean and nice extras included (chairs, towels, etc). The grounds are meticulously maintained as well. Highly recommended!

Emplacement parfait pour faire le trajet vers le Nord ou vers le Sud de l'île. Beaucoup de commodités à proximité (restaurants, food trucks, supermarché). Plage à deux pas. Piscine et spa bien apprécié des enfants. Elles y allaient directement du jardin. Très pratique ! L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Les matelas et oreillers sont très confortables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour pour la cuisine, pour la literie, pour la plage. On est allé avec une autre famille qui ont aussi loué dans le complexe : dans leur appartement, ils n'y avaient pas de serviette de plage, pas de parasol, etc. et le chech-in était beaucoup plus tard. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles au cas où : les murs sont fins et les coqs sont partout sur l'île. Le complexe hôtelier est aussi bien équipé : machine à laver, sécheuse, barbecue, hamac, jeux extérieurs, salle d'entraînement... Check-in / out très facile. Jared répond très vite à ses messages. Très bon hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

We only had a short stay. Property is exactly as described. Kitchen is very well supplied. Enjoyed have beach towels and chairs available. Host was very easy to work with and helpful.

The resort is in a good location, close enough to the beach that a brief sidewalk trek will lead one to the ocean walkway. We did not have ocean views from our condo, as it faces the center of the resort leading to the pool area, which did have attractive landscaping. The staff was fairly responsive to our needs. Airport is a quick drive, though sometimes traffic can be a little heavy, especially if there is construction, of course. There are a few restaurants in walking distance, and the condos have full kitchens. Our unit which was privately owned had extras in the kitchen, which was really nice. It also provided extras that our friends staying in the same resort did not have in their regular condo, such as beach chairs, a few toys, etc.,and a Roku for streaming which we loved, because we could easily catch up on our favorite Colorado sports teams in the evening. Overall, our stay was a good one. Beach views would’ve been nice, but we were out on excursions and traveling all around the island throughout the day all week, and had walks along the beach daily every morning. Those are the very memorable moments.

Great location and views. Very clean and welcoming. The living room furniture is actually updates from photos and has two recliners now. Such an easy place to walk by the icean or into town for a large choice of food options. We only used our rental one day for a quick trip to Poipu. The resort has a lot of easy to use recreational activities. Good communication with Property Manager.

Our favorite was the little chairs that we could back pack them down to the beach and sit. We used some other beach stuff also. Nice to not have to buy everything.We enjoyed the kitchen being stocked and access to a bbq
