Comfort Inn & Suites Florence Center Area

Staff was helpful and the pool was refreshing!

Very nice newer property close to dining and shopping. There is a lake and planned neighborhood next to the hotel and the lake is walkable and a nice outdoor activity. Tons of waterfowl and turtles galore. Pool was nice, gym was great. The beds were on the firmer side and very comfortable. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located lose the Florence Center and has a really nice breakfast offering. Other than that, there are few dining options close by and it is isolated. Excellent fitness room.

It's a modern hotel, appearing newly opened and located in the back corner of the "hospitality zone" at the intersection of I-95 and I-20. there was ample parking in a well-lighted lot. We were enthusiastically greeted by Lamont and our check-in took less than 5 minutes with a pre-paid Hotels.com reservation. We got a handicapped accessible king suite although we neither requested nor needed a handicapped accessible room. The room was quite large with a seating area separated from the sleeping area by a partial wall. The sofa was comfortable and could have converted into a bed. The king sized bed was comfortable but the pillows were mediocre and small. KING SIZE BEDS SHOULD HAVE KING SIZE PILLOWS!!! When are hotels going to realize this? There was only one light switch in the room, near the door, and that operated the ceiling lights in the seating area. All of the lamps in the room had to be turned on at the lamp itself. The handicapped accessible bathroom was huge and could have easily accommodated a motorized wheelchair if it needed to. There were sturdy handrails around the commode and six handrails in the tub. The tub faucets were easy to use and we had plenty of hot water. The bathroom should have been equipped with a night light. There was one light switch which operated both ceiling lights in the room, therefore, if you needed to use the commode at night, you were going to awaken someone and lose any night vision. We stared hearing a banging ever 5 minutes after 830 am

One of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed in during my travels. Hotel is clean and quiet and I felt very safe as I was traveling by myself. Check-in was quick and staff is very friendly. I was traveling with my dog this time and there was ample grassy space as well as a sidewalk to walk her outside with dog-waste stations available. They even gave her a little dog treat welcome bag (although it was given to her on check-out instead of check-in). I will definitely be staying here again!

Quiet location slightly off the main road off 95. Hotel is about 5 years old. Nice condition. Safe parking.

This is our go to stop to and from florida from new jersey. Pet friendly ($50 fee) but nice grounds and pet stations. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast has a selection of items - sort of standard items but in a very clean environment

Very nice pet-friendly hotel with ample areas for dog walking. Simple yet adequate free breakfast. All in all well worth it.

We typically stay at this hotel and have only had good experiences in the past. However, this time we were put in a room that clearly had not been properly cleaned, a flashing light on the wall kept us awake at night despite a plastic bag someone else had taped over it,, a lack of lightbulbs in the fixtures, no hand soap in the bathroom, etc. we were later told that the room is not normally used and it was an error to put us in it. However, no compensation was offered despite my reporting the deficiencies. Poor customer service in the extreme. Will need to consider other hotels in the area in the future.

My daughter went to shower in the first room the water was backing up. Upon getting out the shower she fell due to the water backing up. The lady at the front desk was kind and change our room. The second room had stain sheets.

Relatively clean, but heavy pet odors in all common areas.

Friendly and accommodating staff greeted me during my 4:15 arrival time! When I got to my room, I noticed that it (and the bathroom) looked very clean!

The have bed bugs then had the nerve to say the exterminator came and saw no bugs I took a picture they have bed bugs be careful them things will attach to your stuff and mess your home life up.

The lady at the check in counter was very nice and friendly. No problem with her or the check in process at all. It did seem that the front desk was under staffed because she was handling so many things at one time. With regard to the room, there were no towels and the bathroom appeared dirty. There was no one to deliver towels, so I had to go to the nice front desk lady to retrieve them. There was a dirty wash cloth left hanging on the shower curtain rod, which makes me question if the bathroom was even cleaned. There were stains on the wall of the room. The refrigerator was not plugged in so I had to pull it away from the wall and plug it in. The room was wall to wall carpet which is not ideal in a hotel with pets. Finally, the remote control to the TV had no back to the battery compartment; the batteries were scotch taped in place. This is a serious concern for families with toddlers because they can have easy access to putting a battery in their mouth. Its not easy traveling with pets because you have to find hotels that will accommodate you, but this place had too many issues.

Bed skirt had multiple stains.

This Comfort Inn was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the staff that we encountered were super friendly and welcoming. Many choices were available at the free breakfast including waffles, eggs, and sausage. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Was just an overnight . Front desk person was very nice. Room was clean except for shower, had some mold?

The place was dirty and smelled

Everything was a a expected. We had a noise in the heater/cooling fan but it was to late to have it fixed do we had to turn it off. No big deal but the rooms need to have these things checked out before they give the rooms out.

It was so so … fine except that the shower pressure was so low … took forever to wash and get soap off …. Water didn’t come out much … frustrating so much! Not happy after 10 hours in the road.

AC was loud

The property was not worth the cost. It was kinda cheesy and very very noisy. Walls are very thin. Staff was wonderful and it was clean and beds were comfortable. I got a suite and it was just a normal room with a wall in it and the couch was so cheap it ate u when u sat in it. The carpet was torn. The firniture was torn. It was just kind of creepy

We ask for a quiet room. Put us next to ice machine and elevator. Coffee machine did not work. Shower had little pressure. Water would not go out. Should have stayed in a $80 hotel.

Wall on room looked like a dog had peed on it. Sink drained very, very slowly.

Facility was clean, bed was comfy, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast service was ample. However, the walls were thin and I could hear the people in the next room talking, and the shower water pressure was poor.

The mattress was very comfortable, fairly soft, which I like.The sheets, the same. Slept really well. The shower stall was modern, all glass. The air conditioner worked well and was not too noisy. Check-in and parking were easy. The breakfast was pretty decentcereal, joghurt,

The room did not have curtains to block out all light. It was like daytime in room.

The hotel was convenient for traveling on I95, clean and comfortable. The problem we had was with payment. I booked prior to arrival through Expedia, using both Expedia credit on our account and paying the balance with my credit card. When we checked in we showed the Expedia receipt and booking, but were informed we needed to pay a deposit fee that would be reimbursed. Instead we were charged again for the same room at a different rate. When I showed the person working the desk the next morning both receipts, she was very nice but couldn’t help or remove a charge, saying she would leave a note for the general manager. She said she didn’t know what would happen, and we could be left to try to get reimbursement through Expedia. Shouldn’t the hotel have record of prior payment through your site and not have people paying double?

From the welcome greeting to our departure, staff were wonderful! They were happy, friendly, and professional. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Quality of the hotel was very good but at check in we were assigned a room that was already occupied. Had to go back to front desk to get another room.

The Inn was most adequate for my two overnight visits. My room was spacious and comfortable for several options for sitting. I had my dog with me and he was comfortable as well. The hotel was very quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. In particular Tahjma (sp?) who checked me in on both of my overnight stays and helped me when I changed rooms (the bed light lamp was not working in the first room) and when much later when I discovered I had left my personal pillow in the first room. Many thanks to her.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and we were given keys to another room that wasn’t ready either. Third room given was clean and ready. The staff was very friendly and apologetic so we didn’t get bent out of shape about it.

Wanda at the front desk was exceptional. Such a kind and helpful lady. She made us checking in a breeze.

Overcharged twice!!!

Lamont was awesome upon arrival. He greeted us warmly & was very informative. Such a pleasant man. So refreshing to receive such great customer service. Keep up the great work Lamont. The hotel entrance & waiting area smelled good & looked immaculate. Breakfast was very good it’s your typical continental breakfast. Love they had name brand cream cheese they had me at that. Maybe some peanut butter cups for toast is my only recommendation 😀 Our room was clean & had everything we needed for one night. Bed & pillows were comfy. Definitely will come back for our overnight stops back home from Florida. Thank you.

Lamont at the front desk was very helpful. We left some medicine in the room and he was able to secure it for us until we returned to get it. Very nice gentleman.

The property was nice, clean and the breakfast was awesome! There was a mixture of nice staff and just plain rude staff. I asked for rooms next to each other online, got there and one room on 3rd, one on first floor. The evening staff placed a note for day shift to accommodate our request. When asked about the switch the RUDE day staff stated, “we are done cleaning for the day, so I can’t accommodate the request “. She outright disregarded the request and very rude in delivering her comment. The evening staff came in later and was not happy, but he of course could do nothing stating,”I left the note she should have accommodated you”. SMH Interactions like this bring down the ratings online I’m just saying.

Great location for long distance travel, easy off/on highway, plenty of dining and shopping options. Comfortable, clean room, friendly staff.

Conveniently located right by I-95 and SR20. Area is safe and quiet. Plenty of parking. Checked in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and bath towels are bright white. Coffee machine and coffee is provided. Microwave and fridge is working well. Breakfast is basic with self-made waffle, scrambled eggs and bacon. Some fruits and pastries. Overall, I'm happy with my stay here and would love to come back again

Was just right for our stay during our grandsons baseball tournament games. Close to restaurants and mall.

We so enjoyed that this property is off the beaten path away from all the traffic! Everything was very clean, the hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very nice and the coffee was excellent!

Room was nice and clean. But the shower only had a shampoo dispenser, the soap dispenser was broken and there was no soap. The exhaust fan in the shower was broken or very weak, so there was no extraction of air or steam. The breakfast was just ok: coffee was warm not hot, eggs tasted fabricated.

Breakfast was a bit lacking-no cream cheese for the bagels and waffle batter had run out.

The breakfast was great. Lots of options. Hot eggs and meat every morning along with grits and oatmeal. Plus the usual pastry, yogurt and cereal.

Breakfast was short of hot foods due to large volume of construction workers stayning at hotel. Hotel should have known and planned for this

Many good things - excellent evening meal suggestion, comfortable beds. But pretty poor breakfast options and no milk available for tea-making (even to purchase) outside breakfast hours.
