I enjoyed the space. very clean and updated and friendly staff. Loved the kurig coffee maker. great shower with a wand. and nuce towels. quiet space so giid sleep. good food next door. good boat parking. I will definitely stay here next fishing trip.

This is a gem! Very cozy. The staff are the owners they were very accommodating and friendly. Their Elk coffee cart with breakfast was delightful. We will stay again.

Unlike people giving a 4 star because of no breakfast, its 10 star. My wife and I made the trip for new years eve to go crabbing and the roomswere beyond perfect. The fishing themes to make you feel at home was perfect. Bouy 9 restaurant next door that had great food and a short walk to the boat ramp. Also when we arrived the Owners greeted us as we pulled in. They even offered help to carry luggage to our rooms. Charlie and Andrea the owners are great. They also have a little coffie stand call the Elk stop coffee. If you are a city slicker wanting a free breakfast stay in Astoria. The rooms were so nice I took my boots off. I did not want to get the room dirty. We will be back.

GREAT SPOT! 8 room hotel, welcoming hosts who pay attention to detail. Loved all the care they took in decorating our dog themed room. Bedding was quality, bed and pillows, too. We ate next door at Buoy 9 (excellent fish & chips) and then drove a short distance to the sand dunes and Peter Iredale shipwreck. We appreciated the Coffee food truck (home made baked goods and lattes!) on the premises which made for a wide awake departure. Thanks, Andrea and Charlie, for this excellent last night stay on our week in Oregon.

The owners have restored an old motel and each room has a different theme. Ours had a dog theme and it was very cute. The room was also pet friendly although we didn't bring our dog. The owners have a mellow golden retriever who is nice and well behaved. The mattress in the room was very comfortable, a big plus. Another plus was the owner's adjacent coffee shop wth a good choice of beverages, pastries, and egg sandwiches.

This is the second time I have stayed at South Jetty. I am absolutely blown away at the comfort I get when I am there. Every room has a theme. The beds are super comfortable. Staying here is pretty close to staying at home and I am here for it.

Very clean room, a lot of extras in the bathroom, like facial wash, lotions, hand mirror (most definitely!), a few steps away from a great restaurant with very reasonable prices. We'd get an upstairs room if there's a next time, as we were on the lower level and there was lots of noise from the room above us.

We stayed just one night. The room was comfortable and cute with all of the dog and cat pictures and amenities. The bed wasn't bad, but it feels like the mattress is ready to be replaced. The memory foam pad helped with that. We did enjoy the colorful towels. White is so overdone! 😂

The walls are also quite thin, making it easy to hear noise from adjacent rooms, which was a significant downside for us. That said, if you're looking for a unique, family-style atmosphere, this could be a good fit.

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. The owner has gone all out to make the rooms comfortable and cozy. Had lots of homey touches, a small fireplace, breakfast bars, robes, and all the bathroom supplies a person could need. I was very impressed at the time they took to create a binder detailing local merchants with flyers and menus. We found this to be super helpful in finding dinner. The owner also has a coffee truck in the parking lot which offers various options of coffee, energy drinks, Italian sodas, and food options as well. The only negative I would say is there is no air conditioning and if staying on a really warm day the room could get a little hot. However, the room did have a ceiling fan and a small plug-in fan that helped.

Hosts were friendly, as were their greeting pets! Their dog Luna was super mellow and friendly. Also met their cat, Lego. They have a coffee truck in the parking lot, and there’s a large restaurant next door. It’s less than ten minutes to the beach at Fort Stevens, and less than ten minutes to downtown Astoria. Plus, I got to see the elk that wander the forests next to the shore.

Hosts were friendly, as were their greeting pets! Their dog Luna was super mellow and friendly. Also met their cat, Lego. Loved the location. Ocean or river your choice within 10 minute drive. The restaurant next door (Buoy 9 restaurant & lounge) has very good clam chowder and if you get lucky and score the salmon special, you won't forget it. Check-in very easy and straight forward and DO NOT forget to pet Luna! Very well behaved golden retriever that will come and calmly ask for some petting. There is also a coffee trailer in the parking lot with great coffee and breakfast snacks. If I had a complaint it would be no air conditioning. But, with the windows open and the fan going (provided) it was comfortable. Would use them again if I'm in the area.

Delightful vintage motel with complete remodel and attention to fine details throughout the room (Unit 6) -- really felt like 5-star hotel service with all the thoughtful small touches and room decor. Very comfy bed. Location is perfect for boaters and visitors to Fort Stevens Historic District and State Park. "Fishmongers" fish and chips were outstanding take-out a short walk away; so was"Pier 9" next door for pub fish. Will be back.

What a happy surprise to find this place. We were not expecting to open the door to such a beautiful, well appointed room. The room was decorated with care and the super large tv with the nfl experience was perfect. The on-sight expresso truck and restaurant next door made it a great experience. Thank you

This is a gem! Very cozy. The staff are the owners they were very accommodating and friendly. Their Elk coffee cart with breakfast was delightful. We will stay again.

Super nice owners. Friendly dog. Plenty of space for the family. Well equipped kitchen lots of movies and books to borrow. Restsurant and bar across the parking lot. Would definitely come back!

This is where we stay after the Hood to Coast relay every year. The couple that manages this quaint little motel is very accommodating and wonderful. They certainly take good care of their guests. The rooms are nice and clean, comfy beds, and nicely decorated with a nautical theme. They have a coffee cart outside too which is a nice touch. Just down the way in the town of Hammond is best little diner called Arnie’s which Janice favorite stop for breakfast on our way out of town.

GREAT SPOT! 8 room hotel, welcoming hosts who pay attention to detail. Loved all the care they took in decorating our dog themed room. Bedding was quality, bed and pillows, too. We ate next door at Buoy 9 (excellent fish & chips) and then drove a short distance to the sand dunes and Peter Iredale shipwreck. We appreciated the Coffee food truck (home made baked goods and lattes!) on the premises which made for a wide awake departure. Thanks, Andrea and Charlie, for this excellent last night stay on our week in Oregon.

A quaint inn with lots of character. We stayed in the “Captain’s Quarters” full of maritime decor and a king bed fit for a captain. Bath and shower clean with colorful towels instead of the usual hotel white. Some noise from other rooms but not too bothersome. Cute coffee trailer in the parking lot for your morning Java.

Loved the location. Ocean or river your choice within 10 minute drive. The restaurant next door (Buoy 9 restaurant & lounge) has very good clam chowder and if you get lucky and score the salmon special, you won't forget it. Check-in very easy and straight forward and DO NOT forget to pet Luna! Very well behaved golden retriever that will come and calmly ask for some petting. There is also a coffee trailer in the parking lot with great coffee and breakfast snacks. If I had a complaint it would be no air conditioning. But, with the windows open and the fan going (provided) it was comfortable. Would use them again if I'm in the area.

The owners have restored an old motel and each room has a different theme. Ours had a dog theme and it was very cute. The room was also pet friendly although we didn't bring our dog. The owners have a mellow golden retriever who is nice and well behaved. The mattress in the room was very comfortable, a big plus. Another plus was the owner's adjacent coffee shop wth a good choice of beverages, pastries, and egg sandwiches.

This hotel is super close to Fort Stevens and the staff there was very helpful and accommodating. There’s a hose to rinse the sand off and an outdoor area next to a coffee cart which is convenient. Our room was very comfortable and clean and I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing place to stay !!!! Two restaurants within walking distance with bars and gambling. Hammond marina is a couple minutes away and the beach and Fort Stevens. Great place to stay while out fishing in the ocean or river and also razor clamming! Just love it !!!

This is a wonderful little small hotel near Warrenton in Astoria, Oregon. Within walking distance to a couple restaurants, a bar and the beach. Really great location and quiet.

Charming and clean, however very warm inside room with only a tiny fan there. No A/C. Balcony lights too bright during night for shades in room. Charlie was very hospitable helped us on late checkin.
