This was our first B&B stay and we are so glad we stayed at The Amberson House. The home is warm & welcoming and our room was perfect. Comfortable, relaxing and felt just like home-we immediately settled right in. That's rare when traveling! Location was perfect-walking distance to restaurants, brewery etc. Waynesboro is a very nice area and the downtown was very quaint. Amanda was great and very welcoming-made us feel at home. Breakfast was awesome and coffee/tea and snacks were always available. Kinda felt spoiled. Met some lovely people during our stay at Amberson House -which made our experience very special. When we are back in the area, this will be the only place we'll want to stay!

This charming old home was lovingly restored by the hostess, Amanda, who took the time to personally greet us and satisfy my curiosity with a tour of the house and it's history. The decor was carefully chosen to provide just the right welcoming and confortable feel for her guests. Big fluffy towels were provided and everything, including the dazzling Chandler's were sparklingly clean. Snacks, tea, coffee and water had been thoughtfully included. The room was quiet with a balcony overlooking the back garden, where I relaxed before bed, enjoying the sounds of crickets on this warm evening. Our hostess had recommended some local places for supper and a drink that were within walking distance which we enjoyed. Her breakfast was fresh and delicious, leaving us wishing we had room to squeeze in one more bite. She took the time to chat with us and make us feel like welcome guests in her home rather than customers. Amanda is a wonderful hostess and we would certainly stay again and recommend to friends and family to do so.

This location is charming - and our room was decorated nicely. The bathroom was very small. Our knees were in the shower when sitting on the toilet. But we figure that is a quirk of staying in an older building. Also some clunking noise during the night from the mini fridge. ??? There were several food locations within walking distance for dinner, and the breakfast provided was more than sufficient and tasty. Amanda- who met us at the door and showed us around, is lovely and very diligent. Checking with us about food allergies in advance, and texting directly prior to our arrival so we could locate the parking easily.

Twenty minutes from the historical site of Gettysburg, Amberson House was a great place to stay where each room is unique and the full house is open to enjoy. Each morning the host provides a delicious breakfast and can share knowledge on the surrounding area (Waynesboro, Gettysburg, Appalachian Trail, . . . ) to help you plan your day. Nice back porch and yard, library, sitting rooms, tea and coffee always available. The only thing that wasn’t a 10 was the size of the bathroom of the Magnolia Room. Hard to maneuver.

Each morning the host provides a delicious breakfast and can share knowledge on the surrounding area (Waynesboro, Gettysburg, Appalachian Trail, . . . ) to help you plan your day. Nice back porch and yard, library, sitting rooms, tea and coffee always available. The only thing that wasn’t a 10 was the size of the bathroom of the Magnolia Room. Hard to maneuver.

This B&B is in a renovated residence dated from 1887-they have one room without stairs, which we were transferred into, without asking, since we walk with canes. A hot breakfast was freshly cooked for us. The house is located one block from restaurants, and a laundromat, down Main St. Our hostess told us that many of her guests visit while hiking the Appalachian Trail. There is coffee/tea,and cookies available 24hrs. My wife loved their mattress, but it wouldn't fit in her suitcase. There is parking in the back, with entry via an alleyway. It is a little tricky as one-way streets make only one-way into the alley. We would definitely stay again.

I cannot say enough about how much we LOVED our stay! The host was incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel so at home. The parking was much easier than I anticipated and the property was beautiful. The host was warm and inviting and gave us all kinds of great info about the history of the place and tips for things to do in town. She also made us an amazing breakfast. The house was gorgeous and the room was just the right balance of unique and comfortable. We had such a lovely time! Would definitely return! Strongly recommend!

We just finished a delightful 5 night stay at the Amberson Inn. The house has many rooms downstairs beautifully furnished in Victorian style for relaxing in luxury. The Inn is family owned and the hostess, Amanda, is delightful and welcoming. She cooks a delicious breakfast to order each morning and invites you to choose your breakfast time! Each of the bedrooms has private bathroom and shower and the rooms have their own individual themes for decor and furnishings. The Inn is perfectly located on Main Street, thus downtown Waynesboro is just out the door! Also, easy off street parking in the lot behind the Inn. We look forward to returning!

We loved this place. Innkeepers were lovely and the place has loads of character, Its a small property and it was very peaceful. Its right in the town center and there are restaurants and antigue shops nearby. They also have off-street parking. We would be happy to stay there again.

We felt as if we were staying in a very unique museum. We were temporarily living in a different time period . Furniture, decor, room arrangement were very inviting and very well maintained. Wall hangings, sculptures, bedding and even cameos on the window curtains! We could have stayed for days and continually found new surprises. Our hosts were most gracious and very personable. Breakfast was not only very good but so artfully presented. Hope to have the opportunity to return for a longer stay. Only complaint: outdoor traffic could be quite loud and distractive.

It’s so tempting to not leave a review on this gem because I want to be selfish and make sure it’s ALWAYS available to me when I’m in the area, but I won’t do that because The Amberson House Bed & Breakfast certainly deserves a great review. The house in itself is a gem, and we absolutely loved how the main areas have been kept to the time the house would have been built. It’s comfortable, it’s historic, it’s clean. My husband and I have now stayed in both the Castle room and the Out of Africa room. We’ve adored both and each has something different to offer. They’ve both been clean and extremely comfortable and peaceful. The inn keeper, Amanda, completes the whole package for a stay at The Amberson. Everything from a delicious breakfast chef to just a fantastic personality. We will be back again and again.

This was a great little find!! The house is adorable, very clean, beautifully decorated. Each room is unique. We stayed in the magnolia room and loved it. Amanda was very good with communication and accommodating. Highly recommend

We stayed in the Castle room, it was nice, but if you are not accustomed to traffic noise, be advised the Honeymoon room and the Castle room face the front of the house which is on a main highway and busy until midnight.

The breakfast served at Amberson House was delicious. And not only that Amanda checked to make sure we had no allergies and checked on our preferences. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend a stay at the Amberson House.

This was our second visit in three years for our anniversary. The room was comfortable and quiet. Amanda takes care of you for an excellent breakfast with a variety of items including lots of fruit. No one has an excuse to leave hungry. The area is close to lots of historical and scenic destinations. We have now stayed on the front and back of the house. The front of the house is on a semi busy route PA 16 and trucks go by.

This charming old home was lovingly restored by the hostess, Amanda, who took the time to personally greet us and satisfy my curiosity with a tour of the house and it's history. The decor was carefully chosen to provide just the right welcoming and confortable feel for her guests. Big fluffy towels were provided and everything, including the dazzling Chandler's were sparklingly clean. Snacks, tea, coffee and water had been thoughtfully included. The room was quiet with a balcony overlooking the back garden, where I relaxed before bed, enjoying the sounds of crickets on this warm evening. Our hostess had recommended some local places for supper and a drink that were within walking distance which we enjoyed. Her breakfast was fresh and delicious, leaving us wishing we had room to squeeze in one more bite. She took the time to chat with us and make us feel like welcome guests in her home rather than customers. Amanda is a wonderful hostess and we would certainly stay again and recommend to friends and family to do so.

We loved the Innkeeper Amanda. She is a wonderful Chef and a great conversationalist. She went out of her way to accommodate us and she was very generous with her local knowledge of the area. The Amberson house is beautiful and very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

I cannot say enough about how much we LOVED our stay! The host was incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel so at home. The parking was much easier than I anticipated and the property was beautiful. The host was warm and inviting and gave us all kinds of great info about the history of the place and tips for things to do in town. She also made us an amazing breakfast. The house was gorgeous and the room was just the right balance of unique and comfortable. We had such a lovely time! Would definitely return! Strongly recommend!

We loved this place. Innkeepers were lovely and the place has loads of character, Its a small property and it was very peaceful. Its right in the town center and there are restaurants and antigue shops nearby. They also have off-street parking. We would be happy to stay there again.

This was our first B&B stay and we are so glad we stayed at The Amberson House. The home is warm & welcoming and our room was perfect. Comfortable, relaxing and felt just like home-we immediately settled right in. That's rare when traveling! Location was perfect-walking distance to restaurants, brewery etc. Waynesboro is a very nice area and the downtown was very quaint. Amanda was great and very welcoming-made us feel at home. Breakfast was awesome and coffee/tea and snacks were always available. Kinda felt spoiled. Met some lovely people during our stay at Amberson House -which made our experience very special. When we are back in the area, this will be the only place we'll want to stay!

Twenty minutes from the historical site of Gettysburg, Amberson House was a great place to stay where each room is unique and the full house is open to enjoy. Each morning the host provides a delicious breakfast and can share knowledge on the surrounding area (Waynesboro, Gettysburg, Appalachian Trail, . . . ) to help you plan your day. We just finished a delightful 5 night stay at the Amberson Inn. The house has many rooms downstairs beautifully furnished in Victorian style for relaxing in luxury. The Inn is family owned and the hostess, Amanda, is delightful and welcoming. She cooks a delicious breakfast to order each morning and invites you to choose your breakfast time! Each of the bedrooms has private bathroom and shower and the rooms have their own individual themes for decor and furnishings. The Inn is perfectly located on Main Street, thus downtown Waynesboro is just out the door! Also, easy off street parking in the lot behind the Inn. We look forward to returning!

The innkeeper was so nice and friendly, the bed and breakfast was beautiful Breakfast was wonderful she prepared a meal for our dietary needs. She recommended Frank’s pizza which had the best Philly cheesesteak, I have ever had. The onion rings was amazing and the ketchup was freshly made.

Great host, cool place. If you're looking for a b&b that highlights the breakfast book this property. Not all b&b's are creates equal when it comes to the food. This is the REAL deal. Ready... Fresh fruit cup and cold ice water w lemon waiting for us as well as D&D coffee. After a short wait came our Veg omelet cooked perfectly served with delicious taters, ham AND french toast. Cold glass of oj while sitting in a beautiful dining room. Life was good that morning. Book it!

We booked a weekend stay at this bed and breakfast and were extremely happy. The service and breakfast made the whole stay, truly amazing. French toast, potatoes and eggs scramble, fruit, coffee, fresh juice, etc. We have already rebooked a stay for a couple months from now!

My significant other and I stayed the night last night. The home is beautiful inside and outside. Our room was gorgeous and exactly as it appeared on the website. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had breakfast downstairs in the morning. Breakfast was coffee, tea, a cup cup of berries. We had pancakes sausage and turkey bratwurst. The lady running the place He was very friendly and courteous. The pricing was fair. I’m sure we’ll stay there again someday. I highly recommend.

The rooms had fun themes, clean, and roomy. The bed in the magnolia room was very noisy but nothing to complain about. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Parking was easy and the area seems safe to walk around. Amanda was attentive and gave amazing suggestions for dinner and local places to visit. Very pleased with our stay.
