Zona stazione centrale, chiunque dall'esterno poteva accedere ai piani dell'albergo: zero sicurezza e controlli, su porte e portoni comuni era scritto "vietato chiudere", nessun telefono interno nelle camere o possibilità di vedere sul corridoio del proprio piano. Non è un Boutique hotel.Camera doppia: Scaffale armadio adattato ad angolo cottura (pertanto solo un pensile utilizzabile come guardaroba); stoviglie quasi inesistenti, fortunatamente avevamo qualche contenitore personale come piatto di fortuna. Colazione basica con personale pessimo: l'addetta alla colazione trascorreva il proprio tempo al telefono, chiusa nella cucina, ed usciva solo per prepararsi un caffè o per mangiare a sua volta. Molti piatti di portata ed i dispenser bevande rimanevano vuoti. Dovevamo impilare e lasciare le stoviglie sporche sul tavolo, mentre si proseguiva nella colazione. Ottime ed efficienti le pulizie della stanza

This was a convenient place to stay when using the train station. The rooms were clean and were fine for a short stay. I will say the air conditioning was “on” but my room was still warmer than outside (without an option to open a window). If air conditioning is a deciding factor for you, I would look elsewhere if traveling in the summer. Otherwise, this is a decent place to stay.

Good location, clean spacious room, helpful staff

This hotel is in a VERY mixed intercity neighborhood. It is clean and feels safe’. However, you should be aware that the ‘red light district is just two blocks away. I was there for one week and saw only one person I thought was a ‘sex worker’. I never saw her approaching anyone, or being approached by anyone, but she did long business-like laps throughout the neighborhood. I saw her every day. She saw me looking at her once, but didn’t approach me, (thank goodness). If you go exploring a couple blocks to the north, you will find a neighborhood with open drug use and homelessness. Otherwise, this is a fine neighborhood. It is close to the train station and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the ‘Alstadt’ or ‘Old Town’ of frankurt. The ‘old town’ is actually very new. It looks very much like every other ‘old town’ in Europe except that it was only rebuilt this century after being flattened in WW2. That is wonderful, but it just doesn’t feel at all the same. If you will see any other ‘ old town’ on your trip, you can skip this one. The next thing you should know is that this hotel is on the north side of the river. This side was flattened in WW2. Everything over here is newer. That is not a bad thing, but if you are looking for old neighborhoods, you should look a few blocks south. There is easy access by foot, public transport, or very short taxi ride. South seems a little bit nicer/less inner city, less mixed/international neighborhood. More traditional local restaurants and …
