We had a great stay. Comfortable bed, relatively quiet, great fitness center. Had a little walking/running trail right across the road. Only complaint was the guy doing breakfast was awful. They were out of everything and he wasn’t real motivated to get stuff out in a timely manner. That being said, the food that was there was good!

great hot breakfast every day. pool temp was cool, but refreshing. no hot tub. beds were comfortable. my room was right next to the ice machine - couldn't hear it at all. great nights sleep.

I was there for three and a half days. My room never was serviced. The front desk lady on Saturday said they have an every-other-day service. It wasn't serviced any day during my stay. The computer in the lobby indicated the need for a password to turn on. Nobody knew the password. Possibly this was due to the global outage. Breakfast selections were very, very good.

The Hotel and Room were clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was average the selection never changed during my stay. Water pressure was very good and all the hot water I needed. Very nice enclosed pool and well stocked work out room.

We decided to stay another night, and ended up in the same room. The first night I noticed the shower walls were not very clean and the next night, they still had not been cleaned. Also, I had called to make sure the pool was working a few days before our trip, and they said yes. We get there and they said it was down for maintenance. We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year and every time there seems to be an issue with the pool. We have yet to get to swim in it. Other than that, everything else is fine.

I went to Crete for my son’s labrum surgery, and even though it was long days of recovery at his apartment, I looked forward to my hot shower and hotel bed (so comfortable!) I utilized the hotel gym every morning, and walked on the path just outside the hotel. The breakfast was okay, and for some reason my pallet appreciated Scooters Coffee more than that at the hotel, but it was overall a great stay! Also, I did have the room serviced on the third day. It was so nice to come in to a fresh room! Thank you!

Room was a little dirty. Sheets had stains on them. The floor needed vacuumed. Had to put our own trash liners in the trash cans. The tub of the shower needed repaired. Chips of the tub were missing and the shower was dirty. Bathroom light needed replaced, it kept flickering. The swimming pool was cold and had dead crickets in the bottom. But, Melissa at the front desk was a pleasure. It was a fast and friendly check in. Breakfast was also good.

Holes in the wall and closet. Door latch broke. Dirty bathroom. Shower head was broke and didn’t move, you had to stand at the end of the bath tub to get water otherwise it just pours out the bathtub. Drain didn’t work. Wont stay there again

I had asked to have the bathroom light changed on our first full day, due to it constantly flickering, but I was informed from front desk staff that maintenance will be advised but not sure when they will get to it. It was never changed during our 3 night stay. There was OLD take out food in the fridge with melting ice cream that has not been cleaned out for a long time! Therefore the fridge use was non existent for us. We had no extra linen’s in the room for the pull out bed, so we had to call and ask for them.

Therebwas only decaf coffee available-the bookkeeper didn't replenish the regular coffee. At breakfast, there were no cups for the juice, no silverware to serve the food. That was fixed as soon as I told the manager. It seems the staff in charge was new.

Staff was wonderful but AC didn’t work. They were kind enough to get me a fan. Normally I turn AC off so you know it was bad. Hotel does need refurbishing. Again, staff was wonderful especially James. Accommodating of the HOH

We came in for an opvernight. The lobby was clean and quiet. The room was over all clean, tiles in the shower looked like they could have used a little scrubbing - found what looked like a greasy palm on the far back side.NOT a big deal and we didn't mention it since we were able to just wipe if off, and once in our room, we didn't hear anything. Very quiet. Our beds were perfect, comfortable. Breakfast had many options and had healthy options, even on a Monday morning!!! Eggs (2 ways) sausage, waffle maker, cereal, mufins, juice, milk and coffee - a real delight as often it's just a mufin or other processed carb treat and coffee. Staff were kind and helpful.

The hotel itself is decent but not worth the price. I would recommend staying in Lincoln if possible. There is more options for food and entertainment and there are more affordable choices for hotels. As far as my stay, the room I got was somewhat clean but felt like it had seen better days. The front door and bathroom doors did not work properly and there were some issues with the elevators. Breakfast is included but I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on the quality. My biggest complaint is with the maintenance staff. There was an issue with my room that required maintenance. When the guy arrived he was rude and condescending from the moment I opened the door. This person’s behavior should not reflect on the rest of the staff because, other than this guy, the rest of the staff was professional and nice. The maintenance guys bad attitude and his refusal to fix a problem did affect my family’s stay and I would hope that other visitors don’t have to deal with that situation.

shower head was horrible needs to be replaced - does not function well; had to take a cold shower After I set the deadbolt for the door to the room, I could not open the door after turning the deadbolt knob fully back to the open position. After a lot of struggle and time, I was finally able to get the door to open. I did not use the deadbolt after that. The above comments apply to room #421

The property was clean and very nice. Breakfast options were good. The only complaint was trying to get someone at the front desk. Stood there for 25 min and no one showed up to help. Called them a few times from the room and no answer.

Check in took 1.5 hours. Many rooms were not cleaned by 3pm check in time. Our room did not have any towels. Trash sacks were not in trash cans. Shower head was old and sprayed everywhere except on the person showering. Laundry is $4 per load, most hotels are $1.75. Lady working the front desk was not trained properly, refused to help customers until another employee could show up to help. Rooms that were reserved through hotels/expedia had not been entered into hotel booking system. All employees blamed someone else for the problems, instead of fixing the problems. Front desk lady said breakfast wouldnt be available until 7am. We needed to leave by 615am so we made other arrangements. We certainly do not feel that our stay was worth nearly $200.

First of all at check in, I was asked for my ID and handed my room keys and told where the elevator was. Didn’t say where or when breakfast was, or any other information. We were on 3rd floor, when my husband went looking for an ice machine, he couldn’t find one so he had to go to lobby and ask. He was told the ice machine is on 2nd and 4th floor, so he went to 2nd floor that machine was out of order so finally found ice on 4th floor. The breakfast was absolutely horrible, warmers weren’t turned on under food that’s supposed to be warm, so the scrambled eggs and sausages were cold. I will never consider staying here again. I expect much more from a Marriott property.

There is more options for food and entertainment and there are more affordable choices for hotels. As far as my stay, the room I got was somewhat clean but felt like it had seen better days. The front door and bathroom doors did not work properly and there were some issues with the elevators. Breakfast is included but I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on the quality. My biggest complaint is with the maintenance staff. There was an issue with my room that required maintenance. When the guy arrived he was rude and condescending from the moment I opened the door. We had a great stay. Comfortable bed, relatively quiet, great fitness center. Had a little walking/running trail right across the road. Only complaint was the guy doing breakfast was awful. They were out of everything and he wasn’t real motivated to get stuff out in a timely manner. That being said, the food that was there was good!

It’s been 15 years since we had been in Crete. This hotel an amazing addition for community. The front desk attendant very kind and helpful. The breakfast options were good. Absolutely no complaints! Didn’t have time set aside for workout room or pool.

First of all at check in, I was asked for my ID and handed my room keys and told where the elevator was. Didn’t say where or when breakfast was, or any other information. We were on 3rd floor, when my husband went looking for an ice machine, he couldn’t find one so he had to go to lobby and ask. We came in for an opvernight. The lobby was clean and quiet. The room was over all clean, tiles in the shower looked like they could have used a little scrubbing - found what looked like a greasy palm on the far back side.NOT a big deal and we didn't mention it since we were able to just wipe if off, and once in our room, we didn't hear anything. Very quiet. Our beds were perfect, comfortable. Breakfast had many options and had healthy options, even on a Monday morning!!! Eggs (2 ways) sausage, waffle maker, cereal, mufins, juice, milk and coffee - a real delight as often it's just a mufin or other processed carb treat and coffee. Staff were kind and helpful.

A very relaxing stay. I loved the shower!!! The whole room was clean and very comfortable. Set to the perfect temp when we got there. I definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Crete. Well worth it. Breakfast was good eggs, sausage, waffles, all the usual breads. Coffee, teas, juices. I did not see if they had yogurt I usually get it just went for waffles today.

The first room (220) had a broken refrigerator so we were moved to (310) to find that it had a bathroom faucet that didn't work. We were then moved to (320) find that refrigerator had no shelving. The staff continues to reply "well, I've never had that probllem before" It is i n serious need of a remodel although it's not that old. Next, the breakfast bar was worth very little with minimal eggs although it was 9:45. The coffee was empty at that same time. For the rate we paid, we expected much more. The exercise room is of no value to the average traveler as is the pool. IF it were not for the local college, this property would be vacant. I'm betting that it will be under different ownership the next time I pass through Crete.

Bathroom sink water was warm no matter which way you turned the valve. 3. Shower glass had build up of soap scum and enclosure had mold around the base. 4. Hotel cable didn't have Fox (World Cup) available. 5. Mediocre breakfast - prepackaged microwave stuff. We asked if we could checkout a day early due to family logistics situation. We were told we would still be charged for the night which led to extended drives to visit with family.
