The staff were nice and professional. I paid in advance through Expedia before arriving but was charged again while checking in. The manager was able to reverse the charge but my check in time took way longer then it should have. I wasn't upset, honest mistake and the staff were kind and wanted to make I did not pay extra. Manager did a great job resolving the issue. Rooms were nice and roomy. Plenty of parking. Hot breakfast had a nice selection. The pool area was packed with a large birthday party. My family were not able to enjoy that area due to amount of people. Overall a good experience at this hotel.

I liked the outdoor fire pit outside and free continental breakfast in the morning.

The room was good, out problem was in the pool area. The hot tub had brown scum foam in it.

Visited the pool around 8:30 the evening we checked in and it was absolutely out of control in there, way too many young ones without supervision, running and diving! The hot tub exceeded capacity and there were no towels. We went back the following morning and there were wet towels on the floor, hair ties, fake eyelashes the pool water was cloudy and the hot tub water was cold and the foam floating on top of the water was disgustingly dirty. Not appealing at all and very unsanitary

We had a great room and it was handicap accessible. It was quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed having a kitchen and the bathroom was great for a wheelchair. We enjoyed are shopping trip and the pool was fun.

Slow check in, horrible breakfast, closed indoor pool due to thunderstorm, so much chlorine in hot tub burned your eyes, limited chairs in watch kids swim in pool area. Rooms are noisy with highway traffic and heater was loud.

Its a beautiful hotel check in was easy and fast. Pool was actually warm! Hot tibnot do much, but I think it was being worked on. Would stay here again. Breakfast was descent too!

Pros: very big and spacious rooms, big kitchen, great location, great pool and hot tub, very friendly staff and they let us stay until 1pm on check out day due to snow storm. Cons: close to highway so if you get a corner suite you will hear a lot of cars passing by and the streaming services such as Netflix and hbo etc were not working during my stay and I had to watch cable tv with commercials the entire stay.

The hotel was pretty good, but I was very disappointed that the hot tub was not operating. That was one of the main reasons we stayed there.

Staff were friendly, however our room did not seem clean at all. Dog hair and human hair all over the carpet and tile floor. There was a huge rip/stain in the curtains with new curtains sitting on the counter (like someone was supposed to put them up and didnt) dont look under the pull out couch, its definitely NEVER been cleaned. There was huge globs of black hair everywhere in the pool.

Clean and friendly

I had a short stay, but it was overall nice. The only issue I experienced was with our shower…looked like a quick clean was given from the last guest. Everything else was clean and updated nicely. We did struggle with the thermostat briefly but managed to get it working well enough. Overall if in the area again I would stay here.

Disappointed with our bathroom being dirty specifically in the shower . Requested a partial refund by the time it was noticed it was later. Hotel refused along with Expedia. Hotel itself is nice. Upsetting the room was just not cleaned properly. A disgusting amount of hair on the walls in the shower.

Hotel is very clean. My only complaint was that our room was never cleaned for three days. We had to request towels, paper towels, toilet paper,etc.

We had no heat in our room (rm 223). It was 66 degrees in our room when we entered it & there was an incoming snow storm. We contacted the front desk & they decided to give us new keys (you need an inserted key in the wall for lights/heat to work) but that didn't work. I went down to the desk again & a man working came up to our room to check things out. He attempted to fix it, but nothing worked. We asked to switch rooms but they were booked up. So we had to sleep in a cold room. By morning it was MUCH colder (my guess would be 60 degrees) but the thermostat was reading "ERR". We packed up our stuff & told the front desk about the heat situation again, expecting some kind of resolution. The lady wrote down my name & phone number & assured me a manager would call. We received no phone call so days later I contacted corporate. After several days I finally received an email from Katrina (gen. manager) stating they're sorry and added 5,000 points to my Marriott Bonvoy account. Talk about a slap in the face! I spent $150 to sleep in an incredibly cold room with my young child. We spent less than 12 hours in our room due to this and left without using any other services (not even the shower because it was so cold.) We couldn't get out of there soon enough. I had reservations to come back and stay for 2 nights in June 2024 but I have now cancelled them and booked elsewhere. Terrible. Also, hallways smell horrible, however rooms are clean. That's the only positive I can say.

Serious mechanical issues at the property. Air-conditioning never worked correctly. They had a maintenance man called and worked better after the repair but still issues. The deadbolts lock themselves at times when exiting room and the front desk had to use coat hangers to get back into room for us and other guests.

Kitchenette had everything needed. Bathroom was spacious. Closet had organizer making the week long business stay easy.

The front desk staff was rude asking us if we were part of a “sports group” and pushing us to sign waivers (a piece of paper,probably not a Marriott approved document) and saying it was required. It covered items that said “no food or drink in pool” and “won’t hang out in lobby with alcohol”. The power went out during our stay, the staff was rude when asking questions, and couldn’t help us get into rooms, find alternative options. The room set up is odd with TV hanging over the edge of bathroom entrance so you bump all the time. The bathroom towel bar sticks out 6+ inches from the front of bathroom vanity so you bash your legs when standing at sink or walking out of bathroom.

The sheets seemed damp. The AC maybe needed a recharge. It worked mostly but we had to the fan and blowing all night. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom so it got very steamy even with the door open.

Was in town for a spftball tournament. Grwat location, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is extremely small so that was a downside with 2 teenage girls. TV didn't work either. We were on yue east side of the building and the traffic noice was constant.

Beds and pillows are soft and comfy. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities and some you wouldn’t expect like a dishwasher and small stovetop. Nice pool, lots of breakfast options, small snack area with a little bit for everyone and spacious lobby. Staff were kind, professional and explained everything with the card for power in each room in great detail.

I booked 2 Queen bedroom and got a king bed. There was nothing they can do as hotel was fully booked. Front desk told me to wait for her manager for half hr but never heard from anyone after.

Upon arrival (3:00 p.m. check in time) I was made aware the hotel had been booked solid for the past two days and my two queen bed room was not yet ready, there were also three other families waiting for their rooms. We were able to check an hour and a half later, waiting the whole time in the lobby unable to enjoy the pool because we were not officially checked. I was not offered any type of stay credit and all the while we were waiting for our room I’m assuming he is the manager ( he wasn’t wearing a name tag) was laughing and conversing with staff not helping out with his cleaning staff since they were obviously under staffed.

The customer service was amazing! They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

It is close to the highway so traffic noise is high. The closet in our room was a real surprise, loved having so much room to get organized. The lady working in the breakfast area over the weekend was amazing sweet and helpful. Also loved that they had oat milk available.

Great location when traveling in the area. Close to shopping, dinning, and movies. Funny little glitch in the bathroom lighting; it’s on a sensor. Often as a big truck rumbled down the highway the bathroom light would turn on. A bit annoying at night until one learns to shut the door.

My husband and I were in town for the weekend for a concert and it was a great experience! Very clean and up to date hotel. Wonderful customer service, the one minor issue we had was promptly resolved by staff. Great proximity to Grand Rapids and also close to restaurants and shopping in the area. Nothing bad to say about this place!

The hotel was great but our room was at the end of the hall towards the highway and I heard that all night long.

Check in staff, Curtis, was very helpful and efficient. The breakfast area was spotlessly clean and the 2 servers were so polite and friendly.

Very spacious rooms. Loved the hot tub! Breakfast could have been better. Not a lot of variety. The breakfast staff was super accommodating!

Suites were great and had everything you need with the kitchen. Continental breakfast was great too! Definitely will stay there again when I go back to Michigan.

From the time we checked in,everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was beyond a your typical continental breakfast.. the breakfast staff lady was super sweet and the selection was amazing. The room was very comfortable and we loved the kitchenette.. great place to stay

The receptionist wasn't very welcoming in my opinion. The breakfast wasn't good in my opinion. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The pool room was TOO HOT!!!

It was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive.

The hotel was nice. Beds are hard. We were there 5 days and the house keeping staff would not clean our room. We only got fresh towels every other day. We were told at check in our room would be cleaned every other day. I requested a handicap accessible room but all they could do is give us a hearing impaired room, which did not help!! Breakfast was hit or miss. The food was way over salted!!! Some food so salty it was almost uneatable!! Next time in Grand Rapids I will not be staying here!!

There were minor repairs needing done within the room we stayed. Towel racks were falling off the wall/cabinets as well as toilet paper roll holder. Towels were not provided one of the 4 days we stayed and we had to go down to the front desk to acquire them. Breakfast items were cold and not stocked properly for the amount of guests that were there. Staff was friendly.
