Our 4th time. Quiet well appointed smallish room but with a view of the harbor and a really great public area with fireplace for meals brought in and games, yoga etc. coffee and tea throughout the day and amazing muesli self serve at breakfast.

Stunning location with great room and balcony overlooking the harbor and excellent desk staff. Great parking. The common areas are great but as many have said breakfast is not worth the trouble and if you don’t want to put coffee machines in the rooms how about one in the lobby! Waiting until after 8am and before 5pm doesn’t work for many people. A great place though in a wonderful location

By far, our most favorite dog-friendly hotel we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. They even provided dog beds and bowls for our furry guests. Bottom level rooms have their own patio with grass, which was super convenient. Friendly staff and the owners were exceptional. Clean and modern. And the showers had extreme water pressure, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

This is such a beautifully thought out hotel. They had amenities like laundry, dog supplies, tea/coffee. You couple self help yourself to extra towels, soap, pillows and blankets. It was clean and I loved the living space that was really inviting to hang out and enjoy the view.

Beautiful property and rooms. The staff were very friendly and they loved dogs! Dog bowls and beds available. Right on the bay, so we can't wait to return when it's warm.

This place was beautiful, clean, friendly and affordable. The lobby had plenty to do with board games, a couple of swinging chairs, binoculars, puzzles and more. There was a quaint gym area and a laundry area. The porch was beautiful and the chairs comfy. The view was nice. We were looking right out at the world’s smallest harbor. The swing chair in the room was such a fun touch. The bed was comfy and the tv was mounted so we could watch from bed easily. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly but also gave plenty of space for us to explore around the property. We were also very close to the main shopping and food area of Depoe Bay. Right next to the ocean as well.

Great location for catching a boat for whale watching- it is right on the harbor. Jake at the front desk was very friendly and easily accommodated a room change for us. Wonderful deck overlooking the harbor. Rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable.

I think they should air out the rooms, especially during non peak times. It smelled pretty musty. Windows could use a rinse and the floors could use a deep clean. Previous customers food was found in fridge. Dying plant at the top of the stairway. Details count. If it wasn’t for the smell, I would have rated one star higher. The overall look of the place was inviting and it is in a good location. Easyish to get to the shops especially since they are adding a walkway so you don’t get hit by speeding cars on a bad turning road. I did like my orange and apple for breakfast? The community space looked out to the harbor and looked inviting. Not sure if I would go again or just keep looking for my coastal go to place.

Super cute but overpriced. And the continental breakfast is extremely subpar. Coffee, bag of granola and an apple or banana. Room floor was dirty, bathroom is dirty and had mould in the corners of the tub. Service is excellent and it’s in a great location. No air conditioning. We had to keep the patio door open all night with no screen.

Beautiful location overlooking the “smallest navigable harbor” in the world. We had an upstairs room and it was great. Great staff, super clean room and common area, very peaceful and good accommodations. We didn’t want to leave, highly recommended.

SCP is a different concept in hotels. The desk is not staffed between 5P and 8A. You need to arrive before 5, or you’ll need to make arrangements to get into the building and into your room. The room was sparse / modern, but clean and functional. There was no soap in the wall dispenser in the ahower. The room Had a nice view of the harbor, and a really nice common room on the main floor. It was a unique experience.

The welcome from the host was so very kind and attentive. The place feels cozy and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I really enjoyed the hammock chair in the room for my reading. Everything was an easy walk away. The only downside is the walls are very thin. I could hear every noise from the room next door.

I really enjoyed staying here, it was nice and clean, they had unique features like a hanging swing in the room, a community area with books and games and a tv and fire place, it was really homie. The draw backs were that the rooms were not very sealed off, they were pretty noisy and our dog could hear every little noise. It was also so hot in our room and there was no ac. Even with our heat turned off, we had to sleep with the door open which added to the noise for our dog. Overall it was lovely just a bit warm for us!

Gorgeous room with a view of the bay and docks. Fantastic if you’re heading out for a day on the water. Only steps Arron the dock. The chair swing in the yard was a nice touch. Didn’t get chance to check out the morning fair. However, the commons looked appealing

This is a nice, clean, cozy place. I understand the emphasis on planet, thus no air conditioning. Our room was on the ground floor and theoretically we could have opened the French doors but they essentially opened up to public access…our critters perhaps. But we would have really liked to have been able to get some fresh air because the rom was warm and stuffy…not great sleeping conditions. I could see opening the doors to a private patio, but the ground floor rooms could use a window. The rooms are not apparently well insulated for noise…we could easily hear conversations two rooms away. However, the staff were great and we had a tasty breakfast granola with coffee and tea. They had a nice fitness room available as well. The price was quite reasonable for what was offered. I would not stay again on a ground floor room unless they installed a windows though.

This was very clean and modern and staff very nice and helpful. Was a great place to stay. This was advertised as having breakfast included but there was only fruit and little baggies of granola with milk. Coffee and water. Also the wi fi was weak.

Good experience in general. Spacious room with nice outdoor sitting area. Comfortable bed. The hotel allows pets, which led to our only issue: a barking dog in the early morning (owners apparently left it alone in the room).

They offer very minimal breakfast granola homemade cereal, apples, coffee, and tea only in the lounge area, not in the room… No AC just a portable fan, The metal frame bed was loose and squeaky. Mattress was a very cheap you could fill the bars in the bottom bedframe. Think it has potential if they invest a bit more stuff for their customers overnight day.

The front desk closes at 6pm. We discovered no towels in our room. Calls to the 2 numbers provided were not answered. No towels until the following day!! Free breakfast is minimalist!! Nice view, convenient location, easy and safe parking.

Good enough for a single night. Yet it’s kinda odd that there is only a singe staff member for 2 hrs in the evening. Then 3 hrs in the AM. Walls are super thin if I can hear them they can certainly hear us situation (awkward).

Julia was absolutely phenomenal! From helping with our reservation to texting us when our room became available (early) to a happy birthday message in the room - she was a fantastic ambassador for SCP Depoe Bay! We can’t wait to book our next visit!

Our stay was excellent! SCP was clean and so cute!! They had washers and dryers, which was super helpful! The staff was so friendly and were able to accommodate our late arrival so easily! We ended up booking a second night with them!!

Everything's good except the check in. We planned to arrive after 6pm. So I called earlier in the day to ask about instruction and I was told it is easy to get in after 6pm. When I arrived after 6pm, there is no staff and the door locked. I called the first 2 numbers and no answer. Finally I saw the 3rd number to get the access code for the door. When I called earlier, the staff could have given me the access code and lessened my frustration at the locked door.

I contacted the staff several times by phone regarding an issue with the booking, they are patient, caring and very helpful. The hotel is very special very out of the ordinary. Everything was thoughtful, very inviting, the dining and resting areas are beautiful, with very comfortable chairs , great view. Every product is of quality. I strongly recommend this hotel

Great little inn. Well worth the stay and accommodation and service was first class. Easily the best hotel of our visit and will easily stay again!

No one on duty 6 p-8a. No maid service, do it yourself rack in hall with supplies- unsanity. No food/coffee until 8 am only granola, apple, banana. Coffees empty no more for other guests. No customer service, I come from the service industry, I give them an F. Plenty of nice hotels in the area.

Great location for catching a boat for whale watching- it is right on the harbor. Jake at the front desk was very friendly and easily accommodated a room change for us. Wonderful deck overlooking the harbor. Rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable.

This is a BEAUTIFUL property. My room was spotless, the staff was amazing and the location is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend SCP Depoe Bay and will stay there every time I visit.

This place is delightful! It sits right on the harbor, has great views, and is close and convenient to restaurants and the sea wall for whale spotting. It's really more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, but peaceful and quiet at the same time. Highly recommend!

Nice rooms and great location when in Depoe Bay. Nearly everything is within walking distance, but the hotel is off the main highway just enough to feel calm and relaxing.

I had an amazing stay at the SCP Depoe Bay. The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. The area was very nice as well and an easy walk. Loved the balcony view. Highly recommended!

Our 4th time. Quiet well appointed smallish room but with a view of the harbor and a really great public area with fireplace for meals brought in and games, yoga etc. coffee and tea throughout the day and amazing muesli self serve at breakfast.

Stunning location with great room and balcony overlooking the harbor and excellent desk staff. Great parking. The common areas are great but as many have said breakfast is not worth the trouble and if you don’t want to put coffee machines in the rooms how about one in the lobby! Waiting until after 8am and before 5pm doesn’t work for many people. A great place though in a wonderful location

It is a nice, 10+ room hotel behind the harbor. Clean and well kept. Only thing not quite up to par was breakfast. That consisted of a small prepackaged bag of granola & milk, apples and oranges. That was all. I would stay here again.

This was very clean and modern and staff very nice and helpful. Was a great place to stay. This was advertised as having breakfast included but there was only fruit and little baggies of granola with milk. Coffee and water. Also the wi fi was weak.

Super cute but overpriced. And the continental breakfast is extremely subpar. Coffee, bag of granola and an apple or banana. Room floor was dirty, bathroom is dirty and had mould in the corners of the tub. Service is excellent and it’s in a great location. No air conditioning. We had to keep the patio door open all night with no screen.

It was very eco-minded. It was very warm and welcoming, but you never forgot it was trying to decrease the carbon footprint. The front desķ was very welcoming and positive. Just a note-I would have liked something in additìon to granola and an orange for breakfast....

It was clean, quiet, nice. I loved the great room and there was tea and water all night but I would not call the morning offerings breakfast. There was no coffee until 8.

I have stayed at SCP on multiple trips. I find this place to be the best option when going out with Dockside Charters on my fishing adventures...Just a simple and quick walk down the stairs and your at the docks/office. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Depot Bay

Our one night stay was perfect! Our room was very clean and smelled fresh! The breakfast area and lobby were cozy. Everything was labeled well and instructions were easy to find. Also loved the area set up for pets including beds for them! Super cute place! Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel could be great — the vibe and location are solid — but the execution was nowhere close. Our room was filthy: sour smell, giant carpet stain, hair in the tub, grime in the corners. It felt like housekeeping skipped it entirely. Someone was at the desk when we checked in, but when I went back down at 5 PM to address the issues, the desk was empty. I emailed them an hour after check‑in because there was no staff around, and they never responded. At checkout, I brought everything up again. The attendant shrugged it off with “I’ll tell housekeeping” and “you’re all set since you prepaid,” as if that somehow made the dirty room acceptable. Potential means nothing if the basics aren’t handled. I wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed one night, we were later than check in but it was still very easy with their excellent communication. It was a wonderful concept of a hotel, clean, loved doing a load of laundry as we were on a 10 travel itinerary. Bed was comfy, pillows okay, peaceful area and view of harbor. I wish there was a/c. Although the outdoor air is cool, on the lower level you can’t just leave your French doors open all night. The fan was helpful but I would have preferred a cooler room. Thank you for your hospitality.
