Rodeway Inn Gorham Riverside

The property was clean. They had a pool, sauna and hot tub which was great after skiing. They also offered a continental breakfast. My main complaint was the heater unit. Even with it on low it was so loud and it turned on and off all night.

Pleasantly surprised by the in room kitchenette. The room was ok, beds were not very comfortable. Pool was chilly but big and fun, hot tub was warm but jets didn't work and looks like it needed a deep cleaning. Workout room closed for updates. Breakfast really needs upgrades, only protein was yogurt, milk and peanut butter packets. Kids want to stay here again next year but I'm on the fence.

The outside of the hotel looks nice. The lobby area is actually decent as well. Our room, not so much. Heater was broken, there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and cereal near the bottom of the bed. The pool was nice, but the hot tub had hair in it and was a bit outdated. There maybe use to be a fitness center, there were signs for it, but no sign of it. I ended up in a downstairs area that I assume was at one time a gym, but was completely trashed and it looked like somebody had thrown a party down there (empty solo cups and vodka on the table). We asked for a late check out which the clerk said we could have. Asked if he needed our room number, said no. Then we got a call right after 11am saying we’d be charged for another night since we weren’t out of the room. We said we asked for a late check out and the woman said we should have known the time the night clerk gave us was unreasonable (2pm). We spoke with the manager, who did not charge us, and left by 11:40. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows, but the entire experience from check in to check out (leaving some stuff out) was subpar. They do accept pets, but know that it comes with a fee which we were not aware of when we booked online. If you’re looking for a cheap place to crash, probably fine, but I would definitely book the hotel down the street that I stayed in the week before (Top Notch Inn) for a few extra bucks if I was going to do it again.

They are remodeling the rooms, they have a nice little fridge/microwave. Beds are comfortable. We have stayed here many times. Convenient for dining in area. We have stayed here to ride ATV's as well. Trailer parking is good . Bottom rooms can be loud if lots of people above you.

This is a hotel/motel, some rooms accessed from inside, some, from outside. There’s an indoor pool and hot tub. We arrived on a Thursday to beat the weekend crowds. The pool and hot tub area was closed due to power issues. I booked here specifically because of the pools. The continental breakfast was very lacking, no fruit, no yogurt, no eggs, no cinnamon rolls, no hot chocolate. The room was clean and did have a microwave and refrigerator and small 1 cup coffee maker. The water in the shower was hot and pressure was good. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were squishy and useless. The following evening when trying to use the pool, the pool area had 15 screaming teenagers in it and the hot tub had 5 older men in it. In order to access the pool area we had to walk all around the building outside and it was 5 degrees out.

Plenty of room for truck and trailer parking. There was no Wi-Fi and our cell service was not great. Pool and hot tub area is nice. You can tell they care about the property and are making updates. Would recommend and would stay again.

Walkable to town restaurants and a Dollar general. Two gastations near by. Hotel room was nice, clean and well maintained.

The room immediately upon entering smelled of urine and the bed spread was covered in residue. I walked directly back to the front desk and explained to them the situation and that we were not going to stay and asked for a refund. They told me I’d have to call Expedia. When I called Expedia, they reached out to the Roadway Inn and claimed we completed our stay when we were there for a total of 10 minutes so no refund was given. I would highly suggest finding somewhere else to stay.

Booked one night with my two kids and found the room completely unacceptable. There was a severe ant infestation and visible dirt and trash left from previous guests — chips under the bed, wrappers under furniture, and black/brown specks in the beds. My child was scared, and we couldn’t stay. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive. When I asked to speak with a manager, they reluctantly called someone who was on vacation and barely listened. No help was offered, and I was denied a refund. I’m a single mom and teacher — this was supposed to be a short, special trip. Instead, I had to scramble late at night to find another place. The room was unfit for anyone to stay in. Save your money and stay far away.

When we got there we found the sheets were stained and the shower floor was stained. The shower head broke off and we only had a trickle of water. When we called the front they said if there was someone available they would come look at it. No one came. The hot tub water looked like lemonade and smelled like dirty people and bleach combined.

The room was not at all as pictured. There were water stains on the ceiling and walls, the door had brown flecks on it, there was a huge chunk missing out of the middle of the headboard, stains in the sink and tub. I pulled back the sheet and found several small black insects. We left and drove home.

The site has a Quality Inn and a Rodeway Inn which share the pool, breakfast space and exercise room. We stayed at the Rodeway and it is very basic. It is across the parking lot from the Quality Inn where breakfast was offered in a very small space. The pool was in another building on the other side of the Quality Inn. Our room was obviously recently refurbished but had poor wiring design. For example, the overhead light switch (by the room door) also turned off the bedside lamp and phone charging outlet. Very inconvenient.

No WiFi. It’s 2023, seriously? That needs to be remedied. Told it’s working in the lobby, come use it here. Didn’t have the queen beds in all the rooms as I booked. Staff did correct it, but I had to mention it.

Room needed updating.

Room smelled, needed updating badly! Bed uncomfortable and things in general were run down - pool, jacuzzi, sauna, facilities...

Old and in need of updating. Bed was so old you sunk right to the middle of the bed. I was a bit concerned about staying because it seemed a bit sketchy. If I had been alone and not with my husband, I wouldn’t have stayed there. Some people were cooking on a grill directly outside there room. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Poor signage. Had to guess where the office was. Street sign for Rodeway is very small. WiFi did not work in the room. Room was very dark despite the 3 lights. Bathroom faucet only had very cold or very hot water.

The room I stayed in was good except there was no phone to call the front desk. They put us in a room next to a family that resides there. They were loud and when I walked to the front desk to ask them to call them about this, the front desk informed me I was to handle it alone. I will never stay there again.

Please stay away from this hotel. they charge additional amount as destination fees per day which was not mentioned anywhere in the website. if you refuse to pay then they will not let you check in. Worst experience. Rude staff. there are plenty of motels nearby.

The gentleman behind the counter was so rude He then charged me a 60 destination fee on too of the expedia monies. He said if i didnt like dont rent the room

They said they have 24 hour front desk and when I called the number at 2am for help I was told “no one is there it is what it is”. The daytime staff was very sweet and accommodating.

The woman at the front desk / possibly the owner was very kind & friendly & accommodating. We spoke a lot to the staff the following morning at breakfast.. incredibly helpful, friendly and fun to talk to. The room was pleasant, newly renovated, & clean. There was something yucky on the office chair I had to clean but the rest of the room was definitely tidy. Pool hot tub & sauna we had all to ourselves & it was fabulous!

TV did not work pay $250 was promised a $40 refund then was later to in the morning that I can only receive a $20 refund first she tried to lie and say I must have unplugged the TV, but my friend was next-door and his TV was doing the exact same thing so once I proved she was a liar then she only offered to give me $20 back. This is a complete scam and rip off at this hotel.

Check in was very slow and another guest was issued the same room! Imagine undressing and having a person unknown to you walking in - we were both shocked! They went back to the office and were given a different room.

This motel was right next to Mount Washington, which is why we picked staying here. The place overall was clean, & we had no issues during our stay. Check in & check out was simple, & the staff was very friendly. We would recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick & easy stay near Mount Washington

the location is great, right on Main street, in the center of town. the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. the rooms are averagely clean and they are currently working on renovations to update some of the rooms. Great value stay when in Gorham, NH.

It was nice. I wish the bed was more comfortable. Very accommodating to atvs which is awesome! Loved being able to drive right from the hotel to all the amazing trails in the area.

Good hotel, close to Sunday RIver

Nice place to stop for the night. Had a good restaurant a couple of blocks away, so easy to walk to supper. Hotel had a small laundry area, so was able to take care of that chore after being on the road for a week. I think the only complaint would be the very small breakfast area. It was quite crowded.

We love going here with our two kids after going to Santa’s Village! It’s a great place to just rest and swim in the pool! We highly recommend this being a place to just sleep and swim if you are out and about doing other things in the area! The free breakfast is decent!

The pictures do not depict how it was, tried to get a towel exchange and trash taken out and they could not do that, and pool was closed until the last night. Breakfast was listed on info in the room from 6am to 9am, but they closed at 8:30 without prior notification. Breakfast should be open later on weekends also.

The room was excellent; seemed newly painted and furnished. It was clean, as were the linens and towels. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The staff was extremely polite and cheerful and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. The only thing that disappointed us was that the online description says there is a health club with many amenities. We found it, but it has been closed since 2022. We were able to access it with our key card, but only the pool and hot tub. Other than that, we found everything else met or exceeded our expectations. If we visit that area again, we would definitely stay there.

The sheets and blankets were scratchy, the Wi-Fi didn’t work in room, no meats in the breakfast, and pool facilities were down.

The only compliant I have is the breakfast. They ran out of yogurt the first day and the second day limited bread ie bagels and muffins. Breakfast was horrible

The part we were in was obviously an older building, but very well & tastefully re-done. Basic, good for the price, with a breakfast including fruit.
