The location of the property is fantastic! You can sit on the front porch and look right over the water. It’s a little remote, but that adds to the charm. Clear skies, bright stars. One restaurant and a general store just a couple minutes walk, but not much else for conveniences so be prepared. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the owner was full of information and very friendly. As was the cute dog! Would definitely recommend.

We discovered a jewel. Lovely setting right on the water of the Bay of Fundy. Maitland has a surprising history, and our host was very knowledgeable. Very clean and an excellent breakfast was served.

There are not enough words in my vocabulary to adequately describe this property. Everything was perfect! It was extremely clean, the host was helpful and prepared excellent breakfasts as well as provided an itinerary for the day we were there. You will not be disappointed staying here!

The room was as advertised - character and clean, and with a tree outside that hosted a pair of eagles -- one of which allowed us to take its pictures. Seeing the degree of change with the Bay of Fundy tides was as we hoped - something to see.

Loved our stay at Cresthaven. We were immediately greeted by Warren and provided with all info about amenities, etc. Perfect view of the tides and very peaceful and relaxing. My only negative about our stay would be about the bar fridge in our room - it was rather noisy - but not bad enough from coming back!

Perfect location to watch to Fundy Bay tides roll in an out of the Shubenacadie River as the B&B and right on the shore of the river. Short drive to Burntcoat Park to view the extreme tides and walk on the ocean floor at low tide and also the B&B was close to tours/tidal bore rafting trips. Warren our host could not have been more helpful with suggestions of what to see and do in the area. The breakfast was awesome. Our bedroom & bathroom was roomy & the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend for a quiet and convenient location to see the sites.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast! The home and location were so serene. We sat on the porch with a view of the Bay of Fundy. Our accommodations and breakfast were wonderful. Our host was kind, knowledgeable and a great cook! We were able to take the short drive to Burntcoat Head Park and explore. There was a great restaurant that we walked to for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The most unique at this place was the view from our room and the view from the yard! Watching the tidal bore right in front of us from the porch was just incredible. Our room had 3 windows facing the Bay of Fundy which was amazing. We left the curtains and windows open at night: seeing the view(the bay and sunset) and hearing the sounds outside(water/birds) were real highlights of our stay. The 2nd night we also had an amazing look at the stars outside. And then in the morning we received an incredible breakfast in a warm environment. Just felt amazing here!

This is the most amazing place. A hidden gem. We only had a reservation for one night. We couldn't extend as the Cresthaven was booked which was unfortunate for my husband and me. Cathrine and Warren, our hosts, went out of their way to make our stay the very best. We arrived late in the evening. The local restaurant was closed. The next nearest place was over a half hour away. Cathrine volunteered to make us a chicken salad for dinner instead of us driving to the nearest town. That was so sweet and unexpected. The next morning at breakfast Warren fed us a breakfast that stayed with us most of the day. He had coffee with us; we talked about our plans and Warren offered wonderful suggestions which we took. Between the offer of dinner, the previous night and tips on what to do that day things couldn't have been better. Already planning our next trip to Cresthaven and believe me, we will stay more than one night. Plenty to see and do. But the best part was probably sitting on the porch, watching the eagles and the tide going down on the Shubenacadie River while enjoying a glass of Canadian wine.

Warren was an excellent host throughout our 2 days. Enjoyed chatting in the morning over breakfast; which was more than ample to start a busy sightseeing day around Maitland. Provided valuable tips on when to see the tidal bore and manage remainder of the day to experience the immense changes in tidal flow. Lots more to do in the area and would stay at Cresthaven again. Our room had 3 windows facing the Bay of Fundy which was amazing. We left the curtains and windows open at night: seeing the view(the bay and sunset) and hearing the sounds outside(water/birds) were real highlights of our stay. The 2nd night we also had an amazing look at the stars outside. And then in the morning we received an incredible breakfast in a warm environment. Just felt amazing here!

The location of the property is fantastic! You can sit on the front porch and look right over the water. It’s a little remote, but that adds to the charm. Clear skies, bright stars. One restaurant and a general store just a couple minutes walk, but not much else for conveniences so be prepared. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the owner was full of information and very friendly. As was the cute dog! Would definitely recommend.

Warren was an excellent host throughout our 2 days. Enjoyed chatting in the morning over breakfast; which was more than ample to start a busy sightseeing day around Maitland. Provided valuable tips on when to see the tidal bore and manage remainder of the day to experience the immense changes in tidal flow. Lots more to do in the area and would stay at Cresthaven again. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. Bob and Joyce

This was a lovely bed and breakfast! The home and location were so serene. We sat on the porch with a view of the Bay of Fundy. Our accommodations and breakfast were wonderful. Our host was kind, knowledgeable and a great cook! We were able to take the short drive to Burntcoat Head Park and explore. There was a great restaurant that we walked to for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The most unique at this place was the view from our room and the view from the yard! Watching the tidal bore right in front of us from the porch was just incredible. Beautiful house and rooms, with a fabulous porch looking out on the water. Wonderful and knowledgeable innkeeper--We saw a great tidal bore. Breakfast delicious and spectacular sunset and sunrise through the bedroom windows!! Just lovely. Great location.

This is an outstanding bed and breakfast with a friendly and helpful host. Proximal to Burntcoat Park for experiencing the Bay at low tide. And you are able to watch the tidal bore from the deck of the BNB. The breakfast was great too! I highly recommend.

The porch of the Inn has a spectacular view of the bay and river. It was so much fun to watch the tide go in and out. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The garden was in full bloom so that was very nice. Our host knew all kinds of information about the area which was helpful and interesting. And our breakfast in the morning was excellent. We also got to meet several of the other guests and had great conversation.

The room was as advertised - character and clean, and with a tree outside that hosted a pair of eagles -- one of which allowed us to take its pictures. Seeing the degree of change with the Bay of Fundy tides was as we hoped - something to see.
