We had a lovely stay at the Foss! It’s located in a very convenient location with tons of restaurants and shops. The restaurant attached to the hotel provides a wonderful breakfast, would highly recommend adding the breakfast package to your stay.

Enjoyed my stay at Athenian Foss. Hotel is smaller than I thought but not too much of a problem. Room was a nice size, friendly cleaning staff as well. There are people outside of an evening who play music, sometimes quite loudly so keep this in mind. Also, the elevator is very very small so if you have lots of luggage, this hotel might not be suitable. All in all, a good stay in a good location!

The room is absolutely fantastic. Very modern and clean. The only downside of the hotel is that it’s small with the elevator barely being able to fit two people. There isn’t much of lounge but the rooms and staff were wonderful.

Clean, modern, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Walkable to all the tourist sites. Central to shops, cafes & restaurants. 10 mins walk to metro that took us from & back to airport. A most enjoyable 3 nights stay in Athens.

Die Lage war wirklich sehr gut, mitten in der Stadt und in Gehnähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel ist zwar sauber, aber schon abgenutzt. Die Fugen im Badezimmer waren schon schwarz. Das war nicht so toll. Wir hatten Frühstück dabei, aber das Frühstück war das Geld nicht wert. Kein Frühstücksbuffet, man konnte zwischen 3 Kategorien von Frühstück wählen, die alle ziemlich gleich und lieblos angerichtet waren.

This hotel is right smack in the middle of all the action! The first floor is a cafe/restaurant where you can get your day started. If you choose to go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices all around. As soon as you exit the building, you're on Ermou St., which is a pedestrian street full of shops and places to eat. You're a 10 minute walk from Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square, and a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis. The location could not be better! Our room was very nice and comfortable. The bed is super comfy and large. There were robes and slippers for you to use after a good shower. The room was an adequate size, and the drinks in the refrigerator were an added bonus. The only thing you should know is that the elevator in this hotel is tiny, no exaggeration. My wife and I barely fit, and the door would hit us when it closed. We were actually amused by the size of it, and didn't mind it at all. Having said this, you'll need to wait if there are others trying to access it at the same time, or you can use the stairs, which we did on a few occasions. The people here were amazing! The porter took our luggage up and down for us so we wouldn't have to struggle with it. The lady at the front desk called us a taxi for when we left to the airport and she also helped us with suggestions on where to eat. Overall, this hotel was exceptional and we would definitely stay here again.

Athenian Foss is in a great location. Very central to all of the areas you want to visit when in Athens. The service by hotel staff was fantastic! From planning the trip from home and throughout our stay. The affiliated restaurant below, Greco, is where breakfast is served. They also served lunch and dinner and were reasonably priced and delicious. I would stay and eat here again.

Hotel services are good. Room and area around are excellent. Breakfast opens at 7:30am that is too late for having flight departure before 11:00am. Breakfast service was so bad. It is not recommended to have breakfast option.

Our stay at the Athenian Foss was fantastic. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a great view of the city. The staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was included at The Greco’s Project at the foot of the hotel, which had a good choice and was delicious. Service was excellent.

I liked the location. However, a "Presidential Suite" that costs C$550,00 a night must offer better conditions to the guests. When we arrived at the flat, I immediately saw how filthy and dusty it was. The unit hadn\'t been cleaned properly for a long time. For example, the apartment looked tired, with a sofa and ottoman full of dirty spots. The wall corners needed a coat of paint. The bed did not have fresh linen or quality pillows. You could not walk with bare feet; otherwise, you got black sole feet. Unacceptable! Inside the washroom, the water could not drain normally inside the glass shower because something obstructed it. As a result, the water came outside the glass door, flooding the whole washroom floor. Another thing I noticed was that the washroom door handle came off on my hand, and I could see how badly it was done. To finish, I think this suite rate is way too expensive based on what was offered. I would not return or recommend it to any friend. I have some pictures taken from what I just mentioned above. Unfortunately, I am not able to upload those pictures. Thank you.

The balcony added extra charm to the pedestrian street. We sat out late at night to relax and take in the hustle bustle. Oir room really needed to be updated. The bottom frame was torn, one pillow case has blood in two spots. No washcloths, towel were not soft. The room looked worn out. The people at tje drsk when we arrived erte most pleasant and helpful. The food in the attachrd restaurant was.quote good.. much better than down the street. The hotel was convenient to everything and we walked everywhere. Loved the zviator walking.

The location of the hotel and the room's size and decour were beyond my expectations for this level of a hotel. You have a convenient walk to the metro and to the main attractions, and the staff was very welcoming when I arrived. The only downside for me was a foul smell I had in my bathroom which got stronger in the night. I hope they took care of that already :)

Hotel, centrally located, staff, very friendly and helpful, room very clean with nice balcony. Bed extremely comfortable and the shower was huge, with plenty of hot water. Unit also come with modern safe and usual toiletries and slippers. Would definitely stay here again.

Stor skön säng med Tempurtypsmadrass. Rummet var mycket rymligt och badrummet stort. Fjärrkontroll till tvn saknades men frågade inte efter det. Stora garderober, minibar och badrumsprodukter. Dock ingen utsikt alls bara blinkande ljus från shoppinggatan utanför. Mycket lyhört och lite slitet men prisvärt för några nätter. Toppenläge.

Incredible small boutique hotel in the middle of Plaka area and next to the main shopping street. The room, however, was not small with all necessary facilities and very well organized layout. Most notable was the small balcony that overlooks the busy streets below. Staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Granted we only stayed here one night, we absolutely loved our stay at Athenian Foss. Check in was seamless. The receptionist was so helpful and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Our flight landed later on in the evening, she was even kind enough to wait for us to check in. There is a great little restaurant right below the hotel and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying at this hotel and hope to be back next summer!

Athenian Foss is in a great location. Very central to all of the areas you want to visit when in Athens. The service by hotel staff was fantastic! From planning the trip from home and throughout our stay. The affiliated restaurant below, Greco, is where breakfast is served. They also served lunch and dinner and were reasonably priced and delicious. I would stay and eat here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Athenian Foss. Eva at reception was absolutely amazing – warm, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. We’ve already rebooked for another 2 nights before ending our Greek summer holiday. The location is perfect – just a short walk from both Monastiraki and Syntagma metro stations (direct airport line) and only about 15 minutes from the Acropolis. Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, the hotel is perfectly situated so we could walk everywhere. Our room was clean, spacious, and we especially loved the huge balcony. The breakfast was fabulous and such a great way to start each day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Athens!

Wonderful two-night stay at this property in downtown Athens. Location is fantastic! Stores and restaurants all around and the restaurant located right in the hotel at the street level served delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and supper. Only a two minute walk to historic Plaka area and a 10-15 minute walk to the acropolis. Excellent views from the area to the Acropolis. Grocery store market very nearby - just around the corner. Taxi pickup/dropoff location very close to the hotel. We would definitely stay at Athenian Foss again.

Couldn't ask for a better location within walking distance to dining, shopping, sightseeing and historical areas! Even the taxi driver who dropped us off from the airport complimented us on our choice of location in the beautiful Plaka district. This area has a great local vibe and there is so much to experience. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and well appointed. We chose accommodations without a view of the Acropolis, because pretty much everywhere outside has a view of it. Why pay for a view of the Acropolis if you're going to be outside enjoying everything the area has to offer? There are tons of rooftop restaurants, cafes and taverns where you can enjoy the view. Even many of the street cafes have amazing views. The hotel staff was friendly, polite and referred us to amazing local restaurants and bars that were reasonably priced, so we could avoid the mediocre overpriced tourist traps. If we asked for anything, they were quick to respond and always had a smile. We made the mistake of grabbing the first taxi at the airport. As a result, we paid more than we should have and were dropped off farther away from the hotel than we would have preferred. We highly recommend working with the hotel for taxi service. The driver that the hotel arranged picked us up closer to the hotel and was more reasonably priced. We couldn't experience everything that we wanted to in 3 days, so we will stay at the Athenian Foss again when we return to Athens!

Kein Frühstücksbuffet, man konnte zwischen 3 Kategorien von Frühstück wählen, die alle ziemlich gleich und lieblos angerichtet waren.

Our stay at the Athenian Foss was fantastic. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a great view of the city. The staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Athenian Foss is in the central part of Plaka close to everything, restaurant down stairs, the Greek Project served fantastic breakfasts. Staff were very helpful when we asked questions or needed something Room was excellent and the bed great, only thing in the superior suite was a bit tight to navigate.
