Our stay at The Sautee Inn was absolutely lovely. Rebecca takes care of you from the moment you walk in. We visited for our anniversary and just happened to be the only visitors on the first night. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. First, she gave us a choice of rooms because of a VIP status we had but took us to almost every room and explained each one. She also had made us desserts and gave us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate! The property is in pristine condition. The next day, for breakfast, she made us egg soufflé, fresh sausage from her brother’s farm, a homemade berry smoothie, orange juice, coffee and cider. The next morning we had a breakfast buffet with homemade French toast, bacon, fruit, grits and more. We enjoyed her cooking so much! And we even got to meet and talk with her parents during breakfast. Such a treat. Overall, we would stay here again and again. Rebecca and her husband work hard to make you feel welcome and such friendly hosts.

Rebecca welcomed me upon arrival and Deni Jean prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning along with delicious treats in the afternoon with tea and or coffee. The Inn is clean, comfortable and quiet, which makes for a very relaxing stay.

This is a very charming historic inn that really has the feel of the period. The room was very well kept and the view of the mountains was spectacular. Rebecca (owner) was extremely helpful, super friendly and very accommodating. The kitchen staff of Deny and Josh made delicious breakfasts and desserts. They too were super friendly, helpful, and quick to help with suggestions for the area or places to dine. It was an absolute pleasure stay at this inn!

Our stay was incredible! We were in the area for the Helen Christmas tree lighting and market. We ended up staying another night because this Inn was so great. Rebecca was amazing and the room was comfortable and well appointed. The Inn is beautiful and steeped in history. I highly recommend this place for couples as it has such a historic and romantic feel to it.

This Bed and Breakfast is the best I've ever experienced. The owner made us feel welcome from moment we arrived. Communication was excellent. No need or preference was overlooked. The property was beautiful. The views and room were as depicted. We chose the Yellow Rose which had a balcony and shower. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning and ceiling fan kept us cool. Every evening we had a gourmet dessert provided. The breakfast was beyond delicious. I even got a recipe to make for guests at home. Rebecca had great recommendations for restaurants, wineries, massages and things to see. You will not regret staying here. We will definitely be back!

OMG ! Rebecca and staff were fun, real, friendly, and perfect hosts. From lush, antique decor, to help with “best location work desk”, to fabulous, unique, great tasting breakfasts, coffee and tea all day, and sweet touches at night, I signed in the guest book, “Keep doing what you’re doing -no improvement needed”. And the lower level BR was mine (only unit available for my stay included nightly glorious bubble baths in the deep, Victorian era bathtub (complete with claw feet”)! How happy I was I didn’t take Rebecca’s offer to move upstairs, a change to a room with only a shower😉 can’t wait to join this host again!

The host of the Sautee Inn are very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding as well as the late night dessert. Nearby we ate at Mully’s which also was also excellent. Great place to stay when visiting Helen GA.

Rebecca welcomed me upon arrival and Deni Jean prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning along with delicious treats in the afternoon with tea and or coffee. The Inn is clean, comfortable and quiet, which makes for a very relaxing stay.

This is a very charming historic inn that really has the feel of the period. The room was very well kept and the view of the mountains was spectacular. Rebecca (owner) was extremely helpful, super friendly and very accommodating. The kitchen staff of Deny and Josh made delicious breakfasts and desserts. They too were super friendly, helpful, and quick to help with suggestions for the area or places to dine. It was an absolute pleasure stay at this inn!

We had a great stay. We stayed in the Garden View Room. The bed was comfortable and everything was very cute. The food was amazing and the staff were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we come back to the area.

We have stayed at bed and breakfasts for our anniversary for many years, this year being our 59th. I believe that this is the best that we have ever stayed at. The owner was wonderful, as was the staff. The room was excellent and the view was great. Overall a great experience. Roger and Lindy McKinney

Owners were very sweet. Treated us to chocolate covered strawberries in honor of our anniversary getaway there. Breakfasts were excellent!

Lovely staff, unfortunately the bed in the Sweetheart room dipped on either side and squeaked everytime you moved a limb, The mattresses were meant to have been rerplaced 3 years ago so can only assume is the old bed boxes it was on. and looking at one of the other rooms that one did the same, The fan would only work if the light was on so no way of keeping the room cool at night had it been hot and you wanted to sleep. The mossie mess on the veranda door was hanging off, The was linen stacked on a table in the dining room , a pile of crafting materials in the lounge ... tasks waiting to be completed. Music was left playing all night and the following day - Great location, we like to use and support independent B&B's sadly this did not live up to our expectations, having looked at the reviews again they are all about the staff and breakfast, not the environment -which was mixed and needs some TLC - but has great potential - some lovely pieces of furniture and antiques, mixed with some odd modern pictures ( but the latter is our opinion)
