We were very nervous about staying here having read recent reviews. Fortunately, it seems to have been sorted out a bit, and is a pleasant enough villa. The pool is far smaller than it looks in the pictures, but apart from that it is more or less what you see in the listing, although is clearly a lot older now than when the photos were taken. Our main gripe was the complete lack of anything at all in the villa when we got there. You need to go to the supermarket to buy all essentials - cloths, tea towels, soap, washing up liquid etc, it is literally devoid of anything. The cleaners clearly clear the whole place out every week and take everything with them. If the whole place was repainted and the fixtures and fittings updated and the pool / pool area retiled then it could be a really nice villa. The immediate area around the villa is pretty empty but as you get closer to Playa Blanca it gets nicer and nicer. Have to say Agni Travel were very responsive and helpful when I emailed them with some minor issues, that were sorted pretty much immediately. Overall it isn't a bad place to stay, but with a bit of TLC and some effort on ensuring it is equipped with essentials at the start of a rental, it could be much, much better.

The villa was very clean and spacious. Pool was well maintained and used extensively mornings and evenings when we were not out sightseeing or at one of Lanzarotes numerous beaches. Playa Blanca shopping just a few minutes away in a car or a 20 minute walk to the main centre of the town. There were plenty of towels provided to use at the house or take to the beach. The only thing I would recommend the owners could provide is some soap for the bathrooms? It was a bit strange that there was none whatsoever in the kitchen or any bathroom when we arrived on the island on our evening flight. WiFi was excellent and everything electrical and plumbing-wise in the villa worked. We would certainly book this house again if we were planning another holiday in Lanzarote in the future.

I was concerned about staying here, after reading some recent alarming reviews, but was pleasantly surprised and have just returned from a very pleasant stay. The layout worked well for our family with adults and younger children sleeping upstairs and more adults and older child downstairs. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the towels are a little small but suitable for showers so would recommend having an extra towel for pool / beach. Any previous issues concerning pest control and broken tiles by the pool have been rectified, but I would recommend keeping on top of the rubbish and the bins are a 15 min walk on the way down to the beach, which is a 25 min flat walk in total down to the beach front. There is also a supermarket in this route 20 mins away. Yes the apartment is basic, definitely needs a freshen up with decoration, but is clean and comfortable for a family stay and is in a great location. There is building work next door but noise did not bother us too much and couldn’t be heard inside apartment when doors closed. Agni travel were also very helpful and answered all emails promptly even on a Saturday when we needed extra towels delivered. I would also recommend first minute travel for transfers and excursions all very easy to book whilst there via email/ WhatsApp. We had a lovely holiday

very poor maintenance, mice in kitchen, stink of mouse urine and dirt we had to deal with ourselves. toaster blows fuses. ( it was replaced) cracked shelf in fridge, linen in one bedroom dirty we had to wash it before using, cracked tiles in villa and outside area unsafe for children, not on one level as described but a basement. unsuitable for two of our party, safe provide loose in wardrobe no use at all, BBQ sink leaks water as drain pipe broken pictures advertising villa must have been when new pool sides dirty steps dirty and slippery. altogether a pretty poor standard wouldn't use AGNI EVER AGAIN recommend others avoid them as this villa was not as described we put up with it and made best of it and cleared the kitchen of mice.
