The room was clean and comfortable. The property is only a few years old and the common areas were updated and well maintained. We had dinner at Copper Rock inside the casino, and the service and food quality was excellent. The pool is a little small, but it was nicely set up. The restaurant just outside of the pool area was good and had windows overlooking the pool.

Hotel and casino were beautiful and well kept. My only complaint is for the price and offering of the shuttle to Notre Dame events they need a larger shuttle. I imagine many people stay there for Notre Dane events and the travel experience poor, we had to wait hours for many shutyle trips back and forth as uber not an option in that town it seems. During event season consider prividing a marge larger shuttle.

The room was fine. But amenities are sadly lacking during the week in December. The Hotels.com listing is very misleading. "3 hot tubs on site" - false. The hot tubs are all outdoors, along with the pool. All are closed more than half the year. "Buffet restaurant" - false. It's only open Thursday to Monday. "Cooked-to-order breakfast available, Served daily from 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM" - false. Only one restaurant is open Tues-Wed. The one restaurant that is open is billed as "casino fast food" and serves stuff in plastic packages. They refused to serve me breakfast at 11:01 am, even though I was standing behind another customer who got breakfast. Also, there is no room service Tues-Wed.That's right, this is a "pleasure" stay with fewer food amenities than a Motel 6 with cookies in the lobby. Better pack a lunch. You can find some of this accurate info in the fine print when you go looking for it. But why would you look for it, when you've already seen the contradicting, misleading info on the main listing page?

The most amazingly clean hotel. It’s the first truly nonsmoking casino I’ve ever seen. There’s a smoking lounge across from the casino that removes the stench. No filthy ashtrays everywhere!! FANTASTIC Great restaurants

When we arrived, check in was fast and parking was a breeze, it was secure and well lit. The staff was friendly and very helpful, our room was amazing, it was clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful experience and the casino casino was adjoined which made it very pleasurable, and exciting. There was great food and shopping also you could get the full spa treatment if you need help to relax. Overall our stay was excellent and the service was exceptional .

From the time we walked in the Staff was very nice. Stayed two Nights. Room was very clean and comfortable. Stayed on the 17th floor and it was very quiet. Beds were so comfortable. Also it’s a Smoke free Hotel and it smelled so clean.

Comfortable beds and spacious rooms . Right off the main road , easy to find . Highly recommend the Cedarday Spa right in the hotel . Staff was so nice and the spa amenities were awesome, and so was the massage!!

Everything was perfect. Hotel chains should take notice. Our room had 2 chairs with a small table. Plus a desk chair. No sitting on the bed required. Bathroom had ample space plus nice sample amenities. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Keep up the good work!

Only con was getting harassed EVERY TIME we left and reentered the building about the “minor policy” due to having our teenage son and his girlfriend with us. They were a few steps in front of us and we got stopped every tine we entered even after being notified of the minor policy UPON CHECKING IN !!! and check in had TWO CHILDREN LISTED !!! We were clearly aware of having minors and we were not going to let them rome around or get near the casino !!!

Went to check in after a 7 hour drive and was told I didnt have a reservation. I did have the Expedia confirmation and that info was given to front desk staff. I was told that wasnt their confirmation number even though it was clearly listed on the email. After about a 15 minute wait, a supervisor came out and said the reservation was never "confirmed" with them but she could see it in the system. She gave me the requested room at the rate I had confirmed on Expedia. They were all very helpful and frjendly during the whole ordeal. I did utilize the spa and I must say it was one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I've had the pleasure of visiting! I will be visiting again in a few weeks and will be staying again and most certainly utilizing the spa!

Went for New Years Eve-had dinner at the copper rock which was excellent. Hotel was clesan and new. We brought our own cooler with drinks. We went down to the casino with our drinks and a manager stopped us and asked us to give up our drinks. Manager wouldnt comp one for us or anything. Nothing is posted saying you cannot bring in alcohol. The hotel staff should have ibformed us and if you dont want people bringing in alcohol than dont allow coolers. Wont return because the manager was so rude. Riley needs to learn some customer service skills.

Hotel and casino were beautiful and well kept. My only complaint is for the price and offering of the shuttle to Notre Dame events they need a larger shuttle. I imagine many people stay there for Notre Dane events and the travel experience poor, we had to wait hours for many shutyle trips back and forth as uber not an option in that town it seems. During event season consider prividing a marge larger shuttle.

I really enjoyed my stay. Restaurants were good, parking easy, Casino clean. Not much right around it, but most things easy to get to.

Beautiful casino and hotel. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is lack of restaurants open before 5. We were there Monday to Wednesday, no sit down restaurant or buffet.

Very clean. the only thing that is needed is another restaurant open during ALL days. Got tired of eating at the Timbers for every meal. The food at the Timbers is good, but had to wait about 45 minutes to put in our order because it was so busy.

The hotel is beautiful. Some restaurants were good like the Edgewater, not so hood like the Timbers. Casino is wonderful, clean and lots of slots and games. There is no room cleaning until you check out, and we were there 5 days. No room service except Thursday - Monday. However there are sandwich shops and formal dining in the casino. Overall a good experience.

Probably the nicest place to stay in the South Bend area at a comparable price. It doesn’t hurt that it has a great casino just downstairs! The copper rock restaurant was great… The steaks were a little pricey, but the wine prices were definitely reasonable! I really appreciated that the pool was not overrun with kids this time around!

The room was fine. But amenities are sadly lacking during the week in December. The Hotels.com listing is very misleading. "3 hot tubs on site" - false. The hot tubs are all outdoors, along with the pool. All are closed more than half the year. "Buffet restaurant" - false. It's only open Thursday to Monday. "Cooked-to-order breakfast available, Served daily from 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM" - false. Only one restaurant is open Tues-Wed. The one restaurant that is open is billed as "casino fast food" and serves stuff in plastic packages. They refused to serve me breakfast at 11:01 am, even though I was standing behind another customer who got breakfast. Also, there is no room service Tues-Wed.That's right, this is a "pleasure" stay with fewer food amenities than a Motel 6 with cookies in the lobby. Better pack a lunch. You can find some of this accurate info in the fine print when you go looking for it. But why would you look for it, when you've already seen the contradicting, misleading info on the main listing page?

We had to be close by for business and stayed here because of the high ratings. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful and clean property. We ate at Timbers once and the food was very good. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, water pressure good. Elevators were fast.

The staff is absolutely rude and unprofessional. I had a emergency in the room. I almost had to call 911 because my daughter who is an adult started a new medication prescribed by her doctor and had an allergic reaction to it we took her to the ER and when we arrived back to the hotel. A staff member was rude as heck yelled at my daughter for not having id on her accused her for being a minor. They were very rude
