Hotel is on a gorgeous strip of beach and across the street from the main strip with restaurants shopping etc so location really can’t be beat. property isn’t luxurious but is clean and convenient location with clear water because it’s not right by the pier with water sports. We upgraded to an ocean front which was gorgeous and loved having that balcony view- original view was supposed to be ocean view but it was a side view of the pool so we paid to upgrade which was annoying but worth it. 3 pools which are all clean- need to be down early to get free chairs at pool so we Booked palapa daily for shade and just walked back and forth. Did all-inclusive. Food and drink at Seabreeze was the best out of the options- We walked over daily for lunch to also sit in the shade for awhile. Annoying that you have to sign a bill for every single all inclusive transaction. Bottled water or drinks aren’t included and fridge has nothing in it so definitely bring reusable water bottles. All in all, it was a great trip. Would not necessarily stay here again as it lacked action after 7pm. Pool even closed and you can’t use it- very quiet after 7 so best to walk around town. Restaurants besides sea breeze aren’t great so probably wouldn’t do all-inclusive again. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Pros: Food high-end, drinks amazing. Hotel updated and has a great beach. Cons: have to pay for shade $30-40 a day. Have to sign for drinks and food every time you get something even if you all inclusive. No night life, everything is dead at 9pm.

For all the families out here this property was great super kid friendly ( lots of kids for your kid to play with ) dinning options and walking distance to this cute little down town area that had a bunch of shops and food and desserts. One thing I will say that I didn’t like is that the pool closes at 7 pm which I felt like was super early for vacation but overall rooms were clean , staff was absolutely amazing and food was good . Would def stay here again !

We just got back from our week long stay at Holiday Inn. This was our first trip to Aruba and here is some of our takeaways. First of all, all inclusive is not all inclusive at this place. You have to pay for bottle of water, can of soda, any snacks. You also have to pay for ice cream in the little ice cream shop. You also have to pay for shade on the beach ($18 for palapas, $40 for umbrella). There is a tiny area that is shaded at the beach, but is at the horrible location. If I pay a good price for all inclusive, I expect it to be all inclusive. Yes, they tell you this at the check in - but still. Minimal amount of shade by the pool that would be taken before 7 am. Rooms are super outdated and need to be renovated asap. Chairs by the pool and on the beach are older than me and I am not young. Beach is okay, but I have been at better beaches. Outside of that, staff is amazing (not so much at oceanside grill and bar, but they are okay too). They work hard and are super nice. Probably the nicest staff I've seen. Always with a smile, doing their best to accommodate you. Place is clean. Grounds are very pretty. Location is awesome. Food was great. Bar at Sea Breeze is the only one that was good! And the view from Sea Breeze is breathtaking. I wouldn't say this place is bad at all, but I wouldn't go back to it.

Aruba is beautiful and will return! The hotel staff is friendly but knows nothing about the place they work. They have entertainment daily that is poorly executed.

The resort as a whole was very nice, convenient access to the beach although cabanas were booked weeks in advance. Beach umbrellas with lounge chairs were readily available at $40 per umbrella per day; make sure you leave your towel to mark or folks may try to inhabit your space. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly; special kudos to Felipe and Veronica who went out of their way to accommodate our group of 10 every morning for breakfast. Maxi was very helpful at the Sea Breeze; where my wife’s birthday celebration is was held and Diana was always great when we’d be having lunch as a group. Also, again for Felipe suggesting we attend Carnival downtown; it was our first morning but the last day of celebrations (we wouldn’t have known and probably missed the festivities without his suggestion). Eugene (Gene) was awesome as well. Sorry I forgot the name of the gentleman at entertainment coordination center but he really came through when I asked about birthday balloons; I only recall his wife and mine share the same name. There are several shops on campus. Shopping and dining off facility was very good too; just a simple walk across the street. I would have rated the entire experience a 5, but the room was nice and comfortable but could have used some updating. Otherwise, our entire group enjoyed their stay and a few even “scored” well at the onsite casino.

The Holiday Inn Aruba was an excellent experience. Great location. Several shopping and eating spots literally right across the street. They also had excellent dining options on property. We did the all inclusive option so we ate on property every meal. Great Breakfast buffet, 2 lunch restaurants, one very informal the other was informal also but a little more upscale. Both within steps of the Carribean Sea, and great views. 3 Dinner restaurants, the Mexican and Italian rotate evenings they are open. The Sea Breeze was open everyday. Both pools are within steps of the beach. Staff was great and friendly. The only downside is shade is limited and it costs to rent a playa or beach umbrella. We walked the beach and this looked to be the norm for all the hotels in the area.

Everything was great except the room it didn’t clean for 3 days .when we called to ask why wasn’t clean the response was we should have request for the room to be clean .i don’t think it was nice from the hotel to leave a room not clean for 3 days in the beach area where a lot of sand it’s around .other then that everything was perfect ,food was delicious ,very safe ,easy to walk around

Beach is amazing, weather was good, food was great . We also liked cleanliness and property in general - well taken care of. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. We wish they stocked the water in the fridge. Our AC would go down to 56 degrees and we couldn’t bring it higher for some reason. Other than that we were very happy with our trip.

When we arrived our room was not ready which was to be expected because it was before check in time. The staff was very nice and offered for us to change into our suits and shorts. When we went into the lobby bathroom it was beyond disgusting. Urine on the floor. I didnt even want to open my suitcase. Things got worse when we arrived to our room. The hallway smelled musty and moldy. In our room was no better. The bathroom had some mold in the corners of the shower. We decided that this hotel was not a right fit for our family and checked out after 1 night. I will say the manager was pleasant to deal with and understanding in our decision.

What a BEAUTIFUL place. Everyone was so nice. There was always someone cleaning so cleanliness was never an issue. I've been home for a few days and daydreaming about the day I get to go back. There is no question I will choose Holiday Inn.

The Holiday Inn puts every client first. The entire hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff is professional and friendly. Every restaurant provides such a wonderful culinary experience. The beach is beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone. It is in a perfect location - literally steps to shops, restaurants and buzzing night life.

The hotel had adequate facilities but was not up-to-date in re: digital services. There was no business office. The check-in staff was consistently distant and sometimes unhelpful. They were disorganized as if the hotel had just opened. Other staff were friendly and provided very good services. One assistant manager was different in the quality of service and time offered to us. Aruba is a good place to visit; try different hotel.

Property is bit old and strongly suggest management to keep the rooms tidy and make sure the sofa bed is clean and covered. Also sea side building is huge negative. There is a pub right beside and loud music is audible until 2 am. We had to change the room to other building and then the beds were a issue. After some struggle, issues got addressed, however but inconvenient at the beginning.

The lady at the front desk, whom was not nice, said “you picked a king bed option but that’s only a preferance not a guarantee.” So that was a bummer. Rooms need updating. However, beds are comfortable and the area is great. Pools are very clean and the beach is only a hop, skip and jump away. Overall we had a good time.

Very poor water pressure,carpet very dirty in my room,at night couldn’t sleep because next door bar had the music very loud,hotel drinks were always poor with very small glass and ice which made the drinks taste poorly.the refrigerator in my room empty, I had too buy water and drinks this should had been complementary,the beach chairs were divided if you wanted old chairs they were free but anything else like up grade umbrellas and chairs that weren’t broken customer had to pony up, the beds in my room were full-size we were 3 guests farely average most hotels put 1 queen and 1 full we slept very uncomfortably my grand daughter excellent, these were my family experiences I will never go to this hotel

Rooms are very tired and in need of renovation. Carpet was musty and sliding door was impossible to open. Drinks were terrible and service was hit and miss. Some employees were wonderful and others made you feel like they were bothering you. Food was the bright spot as many restaurants were very good

Outdated. Rooms were stale took us a couple of days to air it out. Air conditioning was terrible. It would turn off can't set it to a comfortable level. Aruba is HOT not fun. Called the desk twice about it said they will send someone to fix it and they never fixed it.

The rooms smelled like mold, every night our lullaby was Moomas EDM music, the walls are paper thin so you hear everyone and everything!! Loved the jackhammering at 8:30 AM !!! The hairdryer caught fire the first day I had to throw it in the sink and obviously never worked again!! One last thing that was a pain you had to key into all the bathrooms with your room key!!! Now the positives!! The food was great the Rib eye was insane at the Sea Breeze!! Drinks with “alcohol surcharge” were fantastic bartenders were great!!! Our room was cleaned each day perfectly!!! The resort is old and tired and needs some updating!!!

Our room was in the Sea tower. There was VERY LOUD music every night until all hours of the morning. Had I known there was going to be music playing every night I would have asked for a room change. Lost lots of sleep. Hotel needs updating. Bathroom very small. Food was just okay, some were very salty. Would not stay at this location again.

A special thanks to the staff at the guest service desk I believe his name was Eugene. My hair dryer wasn’t working I went to the front desk and was told they would relay the message to staff, but he saw me and asked me is everything was ok. He went and changed it himself. Another special thanks to the guys at the Palm Bar, Victor, Juan Miguel and Josuel. Thank you for such a great customer service and making my nights more enjoyable. The drinks were amazing and their creativeness was top!!!you guys were amazing and enjoyed their vibe!

We just got back from our week long stay at Holiday Inn. This was our first trip to Aruba and here is some of our takeaways. First of all, all inclusive is not all inclusive at this place. You have to pay for bottle of water, can of soda, any snacks. You also have to pay for ice cream in the little ice cream shop. You also have to pay for shade on the beach ($18 for palapas, $40 for umbrella). There is a tiny area that is shaded at the beach, but is at the horrible location. If I pay a good price for all inclusive, I expect it to be all inclusive. Yes, they tell you this at the check in - but still. Minimal amount of shade by the pool that would be taken before 7 am. Rooms are super outdated and need to be renovated asap. Chairs by the pool and on the beach are older than me and I am not young. Beach is okay, but I have been at better beaches. Outside of that, staff is amazing (not so much at oceanside grill and bar, but they are okay too). They work hard and are super nice. Probably the nicest staff I've seen. Always with a smile, doing their best to accommodate you. Place is clean. Grounds are very pretty. Location is awesome. Food was great. Bar at Sea Breeze is the only one that was good! And the view from Sea Breeze is breathtaking. I wouldn't say this place is bad at all, but I wouldn't go back to it.

Booked my stay and payed extra for a room with double beds. Called to confirm this reservation snd to make sure that we are booked for double bed unfortunately once i arrived and checked in frond desk staff informed me that rooms are based on availability and therefore i can only have single bed room. He noted unfortunately because i booked with expedia its not a guarantee but rather based on availability. This was very disappointing as i made sure i paid good chunk of money extra for what i wanted. Whats unfortunate is that there were rooms available but yet there wouldn't accommodate as it was expedia booking.

Some of the problem solving was lacking after a flight cancellation disrupted our timeline. Staff were disorganized in addressing it, but fair and accommodating in the end. All staff were very nice, however and it was a beautiful place to stay.

Our room over looked the pool area. We were in room 6222 and always came back to a clean room. The wait-staff was absolutely phenomenal. They made a person feel very special. Victor, Joshwell, Jose, Edwin, and Augustin eare very very special people. Until we meet again my friends.

Staff was very friendly. Willie waited on us at Agave and Da Vinci, and was phenomenal. Margi at Oceanside was so friendly also! Room was clean, standard holiday inn room. Ocean front was great.

They were disorganized as if the hotel had just opened. Other staff were friendly and provided very good services. Property is bit old and strongly suggest management to keep the rooms tidy and make sure the sofa bed is clean and covered. Also sea side building is huge negative. There is a pub right beside and loud music is audible until 2 am. We had to change the room to other building and then the beds were a issue. After some struggle, issues got addressed, however but inconvenient at the beginning.

This is the spot to be in Aruba if you want to be in walking distance to all the best restaurants shopping and excursions. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms don't provide the most up to date feel but the location of this hotel can't be beat.

The Holiday Inn puts every client first. The entire hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff is professional and friendly. Every restaurant provides such a wonderful culinary experience. The beach is beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone. It is in a perfect location - literally steps to shops, restaurants and buzzing night life.

Food was excellent at all locations and staff are friendly at every location we encountered. I would highly recommend this location for its location to all the night life and restaurants. Would recommend the all inclusive package as it is not cheap to eat anywhere and we seemed to make out better with than option. Only complaint was the loud music with heavy bass next door to the holiday inn I’m sure they get a lot of complaints. Overall highly recommend.

All inclusive is not all inclusive here. Very cheap alcohol. No mimosas for breakfast unless you want to pay $12 a piece. No buffets like other all inclusive resorts. Breakfast options were limited and everything tasted salty. I regret not booking at the Barcelo like I did previous year.

We just got back from our week long stay at Holiday Inn. This was our first trip to Aruba and here is some of our takeaways. First of all, all inclusive is not all inclusive at this place. You have to pay for bottle of water, can of soda, any snacks. You also have to pay for ice cream in the little ice cream shop. You also have to pay for shade on the beach ($18 for palapas, $40 for umbrella). There is a tiny area that is shaded at the beach, but is at the horrible location. If I pay a good price for all inclusive, I expect it to be all inclusive. Yes, they tell you this at the check in - but still. Minimal amount of shade by the pool that would be taken before 7 am. Rooms are super outdated and need to be renovated asap. Chairs by the pool and on the beach are older than me and I am not young. Beach is okay, but I have been at better beaches. Outside of that, staff is amazing (not so much at oceanside grill and bar, but they are okay too). They work hard and are super nice. Probably the nicest staff I've seen. Always with a smile, doing their best to accommodate you. Place is clean. Grounds are very pretty. Location is awesome. Food was great. Bar at Sea Breeze is the only one that was good! And the view from Sea Breeze is breathtaking. I wouldn't say this place is bad at all, but I wouldn't go back to it.

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms. Buffet breakfast at Corales will satisfy the picky eater and the hungry. For outdoor experience the SeaBreeze was wonderful, and if you want an indoor experience I recommend the DaVinci. Big shout out to all the staff especially Jimmy, John and Rosemary for their wonderful service at breakfast and dinner.

Property was great, beach was very nice, rooms were good. As all-inclusive is an addon package and not mandatory, there are a lot of extras even when on the package. We also were unable to get seated at a restaurant on property the night we arrived - we booked reservations for the remainder of the week and did not have the problem again. We had a good stay but next time will likely stay on a property dedicated to the all-inclusive experience.

1st off just wanna say we had a great time but wanted to point out a few things I wish we knew ahead of time. Food options are good but you cant get anything to eat at the resort after 1030pm. Nothing.not even room service which by the way is NOT included in the all inclusive . If yoy want some food you can .

The food at Holiday Inn was the best of any island I have been to. The people working there are exceptional and go out of there way to make sure you are happy, the service could not be better, the resort is very clean. The one thing I did not like is that there was no night time entertainment, we feel with a family the nightly shows are a must on a resort. Also I did not like that the resort charged money for a gazebo by the pool, it was like $200 American for the day, I though that was unacceptable and should have been included for when you pay for all inclusive. The food is expensive if you do not do all inclusive I strongly recommend with a family to opt out for the all inclusive it is really worth it. Can't wait to go back to the Holiday Inn.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the hotel. One thing that could definitely be improved is the requirement to sign a receipt every time you order food or drinks, even though the resort is all-inclusive. Having to stop and sign paperwork throughout the day becomes inconvenient and takes away from the relaxing vacation experience. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at the Sea Breeze restaurant with a waiter named Juan Sebastian. We were dining with our family, including a 3-year-old child, and it took a very long time before he even came to our table to offer us water or take our order. Once the food arrived, several items were incorrect. My husband and I both ordered our steaks well done, but they were served very undercooked and red inside. We could not eat them. My daughter ended up eating my steak, while my husband returned his completely untouched because it was not cooked as requested. The most frustrating part was that Juan Sebastian still charged us for the steak that had been returned because it was prepared incorrectly, so we ended up paying for a meal that was never eaten. He also tried to charge another member of our table who had the all-inclusive package. We had to strongly object before he finally removed that charge. A simple apology and a willingness to correct the mistakes would have made a huge difference. Instead, the entire interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily stressful.

The property is very old. My room wasn’t clean at all. The housekeeper never cleaned the room , she only did the bed (very bad) but didn’t clean anything. Tbh the worst experience I ever had in the (room) , hotel was okay.

The time spent on line waiting to check-in, was too long due to limited front desk staff. They can do way better than that, especially during peak hours. Also the options are very limited for places to have dinner… they need more options and at least should open the buffet venue for dinner every night.
