Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Visiting friends in the area, so good place to stay. Walking distance to restaurants & shopping. Also felt safe in area. Pool a little small, water cool, but did have a hot tub. Hotel dot com did not mention the $35 daily parking fee, so had a bit of a surprise at checkout. Beds for us were very comfortable. One issue is other guests allowing their room doors to slam shut in the mornings! Uhg! Would stay here again.

Parking prices are way too high. Bed was extremely comfortable. Towels were great

Excellent location; pool and spa were in great condition; room was clean, good size, and had Starbucks coffee. No breakfast included and happy hour was minimal.

I found it a little confusing to get to your room. I also had a small child down the hall from the area that I was staying . The child was very loud and noisy for several hours I found this to be very inconvenient. I am not sure where to put this remark about the food choices on the menus. we’re not the best for the amount of money that you pay to stay in your facility. Your gym is awesome. Great customer service.

Hotel was fine - don't be fooled by "tapestry" - it's a motel that was purchased by the Hilton and the sign changed. No frills pool and the "rooftop patio" left much to be desired - hard to share 1 umbrella with other guests. It was clean and quiet - if you're not looking for fancy, this is your jam.

Location is very good. Hottub did not work, pool was not heated very well, carpets in hotel smell. No continental breakfast, the store in the hotel doesn't accept cash ( cards only) The safe in the room had no power.

Really enjoyed my stay here! It was clean, bright and within walking distance to the pier and other dining options. There also was a bar with food and starbucks coffee which was convenient in the mornings. There also is a bike rental right across the street which you can take up the strand which is about a 5 minute bike ride away. Loooved the pool and hot tub as well, nice and usually not busy! Would definitely recommend.

Nice rooms and great location. Love that they have Starbucks coffee options in the lobby and a full menu of food at all hours. My only criticism is that you have to pay for parking.

The room and bathroom were clean, location itself was great - easily walkable to Redondo. However, would not stay again. Our week and a half long vacation to California ended with two nights in Redondo at over 270 a night. We knew we would need to utilize laundry given three days at Disney and visiting family (which we had planned ahead of time to do at this hotel as it was a listed amenity when booking). The reception staff said they were unable to swap my money for quarters to use the laundry room and to return the next morning. I got the same comment the following afternoon after returning as they advised and ended up opting to use a local laundromat. I was a bit annoyed given the price we paid but understood. The receptionist staff however were rude and unwelcoming. We travel often and have not had a customer service this bad in quite some time. Would strongly recommend re-training the check-in staff to greet guests upon arrival and put cell phones down when communicating with hotel guests.

Very clean room,hot tub was very warm,they had parking but not sure about ut being secure,the hotels is in walking distance to restaurants and the marina,the staff was very helpful and friendly, the bar area was very inviting

This is an old school hotel that badly needs updating. Corridors and rooms are very mildewy smelling. Our room had a sewer backup/smell every time the faucet or shower was used. Pretty nauseating. The beds were pretty comfortable and nice linens though. The coffee pot is not a Keurig - just some old device that you pour water into and put the coffee packet it in. Pretty expensive for the condition of the hotel!

Our room had a terrible musty smell our entire stay. We immediately informed the management, but nothing was ever said or done to fix or move us. Toilet roll holder was loose. Microwave was so low you had to get on your hands and knees to use it. Window latch broken. For the price paid, was a letdown. For a Hilton brand, didn’t meet expectations.

The room was very clean.

The room was smelling of mildew and mold. I had a headache all 3 nights since I am highly allergic to mold and mildew that was present in both rooms. The Odor was awful. They changed the room and added deodorizer, but it only lasted a few hours and the mold and mildew smell returned. The employees had confirmed the odor was offensive.

The hotel is older, but it has been nicely remodeled. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is great, with several restaurants within walking distance.

Had to wait outside to be let in, room was musty and toilet seat was delaminating. Nice location

The room was lovely, the beds were super comfortable. two complaints: $35 per day for parking seems excessive. the AC unit in our room was encased in a wooden box, which made it very aesthetic, but it never fully cooled the room. if the outside temperatura had been higher we would have had a lousy night.

Great rooms, king bed and clean from bathroom to sheets and towels. Always our go to when in Redondo beach. Close to everything.

Two beds were cramped in space and furnitures were big and heavy for space. Good view but beds were very high to reach by short people that you cannot lay down to enjoy the view

My husband and I booked a two-night stay at this property and on the first night, the room provided had air conditioning that was broken and the room was basically a sauna. The front desk was unable to change rooms because it was nighttime so we ended up not sleeping at the hotel instead on a friends' couch for the night. The front desk staff (Tyrell) said that he would compensate us for the night and the parking as well. In the morning, we were able to change rooms but since we booked and paid in full through Expedia, they were unable to comp us without a case through Expedia. I'd like to escalate this case to management and see about a reimbursement for the trouble of not being able to sleep in our room for the first night. Thank you in advance.

The rooms were cool. The bathroom was too small. But the convenience was incredible. We were able to cross the street for our daughter’s birthday dinner with ease.

Service was outstanding. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was pretty clean, but definitely showed signs of age. Oddly designed building, and it was quite a walk to get to our room. Room décor was definitely outdated. Paris Hilton should stay here and update the hotel.

The rooms are so small, you can barely move around in the rooms. The price was too high for this property. It’s older… plus right next to the pier, walking distance.

This is a beautifully placed hotel, 2nd time staying, but they are on the verge of being very outdated in the rooms where the price is a bit much. Everything seems to leak, or is not working well. Examples: Shower system sprays water everywhere or toilet seat not secured, or AC smelling a bit off. There was a sign about beds being replaced, we weren’t so fortunate to get a room with one done yet. Our mattress was worn out. Was doubled charged parking but staff is always very kind and helpful. Update this place!!

I thought the Redondo Inn being a Hilton hotel was so horrible! We check in and were given room #115! We opened the door and the room is dirty! No beds made, trash everywhere! I saw the hotel cleaning lady at another room and i tried asking her about the room still being dirty and she looks at a clipboard and says it's not on her list? I need to go back to the front desk? So we go back to the front desk and now get room #114? This room was clean. After we unpacked we went to the pool and it was nice! I thought okay a simple mistake! Oh no we were gone most of the day it was my wife's birthday! When we arrived back early in the afternoon I am now hearing loud banging noises and people walking up above us and it continued all night to the early am 1am 2am 3am 4am etc! The construction of this hotel is so poorly done with no type of insulation to absorb the noise from other rooms or upper levels that occurred all night! I put ear plugs in as far as I could and was still hearing these banging noises! No sleep!!! I don’t know what was going on in room #115, the door all night and early am hours kept being opened and closed continually? Very strange! I just have a hard time believing this is a Hilton!!! I have never had a bad Hilton experience until now! I will never stay there again and doubting Hilton's care for there customers?

Couldn’t get into my room, the door didn’t work had to go downstairs twice to get keys that didn’t work, and then wait for someone who couldn’t let me in either, and then wait for a manager and got moved to a new room with no compensation and was late to my event. Then when I was taking a nap the next day, there was a false fire alarm that went off. Also, they advertise that they have room service, but they don’t. All of the room doors have a spring on them that slams them shut so loudly that your room shakes. If you’re looking for quiet - it is not at this hotel. Lastly when I asked for late checkout they said it was an extra $75. Ridiculous. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We loved the marina view, the room was great, service was super. Xavier was a fantastic help at the front desk. We loved being so close to the beach. What a fun and fantastic hotel!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern clean and comfortable. There was lots of parking for my visiting daughter who did not stay overnight. The location was convenient. I will definitely stay there again. Shout out to Linnette who allowed me to check in early after a red eye flight from Maui.

Hotel staff ignored Expedia booking and proceeded to double charge us. Once it was shown that they were at fault, they did not apologize or even acknowledge it. Also paid for the breakfast buffet that apparently does not exist. Rate was higher after expedia refunded and the hotel kept their charges. Overall a really negative experience.

Were not able to check in until after checkin time! Room had food on the floor under a desk on arrival to room. Check in person “Jack”I believe hie name was, seemed overwhelmed. He Offered us a $36 food and beverage credit which was not put on our account. So now have to wait to see if its credited after check out!

Centrally located within walking distance of pier and restaurants on the water and marina. Nice coffee seating area inside the lobby, Enjoyed being at the start of the annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10 K run.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I've always enjoyed it. However, I was very disillusioned by the price of coffee in the lobby.. nearly $6 for medium roast and extra cream... A little pricey but I guess that's California

Really was no amenities, most hotels offer free coffee, and free breakfast. This hotel did not offer any of that.

Staff was excellent. Loved the hot spa and heated pool. Having Starbucks right there was great too!

Redondo Beach was great! This hotel was just average. It's a very standard hotel, nothing special, but it has everything you need for your stay, including multiple plugs for charging devices. The beds are comfortable, it's clean, and the rooms exactly as pictured. I really enjoyed the California bowls at the restaurant for breakfast. The location was great, a 10 minute walk to the beach, and the price was right.

TV’s didn’t work for 3 days ,dirty cloths from previous guest in room. Continental breakfast paid didn’t exist

Got ripped off for parking-$24 for a night. No breakfast buffet. Breakfast was a la Carte. Didn’t do it. Room was fine but extra costs made it not so nice.

Hotel not quite as it looks in the pictures. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Lobby and common areas are tired and the "restaurant" was nothing more than a few items available at the bar counter with limited hours. Not a full service hotel. Good location and ok if you have a car and can take all your meals elsewhere. Super friendly staff including bar staff and all very helpful. A little too "eco friendly" - I was there for 5 nights and my room was never cleaned despite being told it would get a deep clean on the 4th day.
