The Suites at Fishermen’s Village- 2 Bedroom Suites

The water smelled like rotton eggs for the first part of every day. The construction next door meant very early hammer pounding and beep beep beeps from the heavy machinery backing up. Not exactly relaxing. The bayside bar directly underneath our room meant loud talking and activity until late each night. Overall, not a very relaxing experience for the high cost of the bay view.

The kitchen was missing a number of items. I had to contact the front desk then it took awhile before delivery. Front desk staff were wonderful!

I’ve stayed here dozens of times over the years and love it as a local option bc of the size of the suites with kitchen. It’s still a good value but I miss having more restaurant options on property. Overall it’s not maintained as it once was; the second elevator has been out for two years, the wood flooring on the second level is worn at best and the marina has not been functional since hurricane ian. Rumor has it the property was recently sold so hoping it comes back to its glory and they bring back kayaks, boat rental without membership and more restaurants. All this being said, the rooms are clean, the air conditioning works great and there are plenty of shops and boutiques to browse through.

The place was CLEAN! Shout out to housekeeping. I didn’t even have to do my typical cleaning ritual like normal, the entire facility was CLEAN. The room was beautiful. Well appointed. Great location with a bunch of ridiculously nice people. Great options for food and shops. Easy parking. PERFECT! My only slight problem was the pool was sad. It was CLEAN just motel like. Doesn’t match the property. Otherwise, 10 out of 10!
