Excellent stay. The room was nice & clean & spacious. We had a room with 2 Queen beds. I loved their breakfast. They have delicious cinnamon rolls. I also love that they had egg white omelettes w/ veggies as an option, and they had regular omelettes with cheese & scrambled eggs. They have a pretty nice fitness center for a Holiday Inn Express. It was larger than other ones I’ve stayed at. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Jacksonville.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The complimentary breakfast was great. We enjoyed the nice clean room and to our surprise, soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner was provided. We enjoyed the pool and there was a nice gym and laundry area if you needed it. Lots of eating options were in walking distance of the hotel as well. We will be visiting again in the near future.

The property was very clean. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. It was the nicest gym I’ve been to in a hotel recently. The breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again and recommend highly recommend a place.

Pros: Property was clean, quiet, conveniently located to lots of shopping & dining options, was conveniently located to both venues we were attending concerts at & to St Augustine where we met family for a night out! They also offered a great breakfast, had all the amenities you would need & the staff was very friendly! Cons: I drive a larger pickup truck & parking was a challenge when getting in late after going out all 3 nights we were there. We parked on the street in front of the property as there were semis & box trucks parked out there. Also, it was disappointing to see only 2 lounge chairs at the pool. Our first visit to the pool there was one other woman there using a lounge chair. My husband had to sit up in one of only 3 patio chairs that were by the pool. Doesn’t make for a relaxing day at the pool. Luckily, there were no other visitors on our second visit. If anyone had come after us, I would’ve felt guilty using the only 2 lounge chairs there! The addition of maybe 6 more lounge chairs would be a great addition to the pool area. All in all, we had a great stay at a great price & if my travels bring me to this area again, I’d definitely stay here!

Checking was easy. The room was big but smelled musty. There is carpeting in the rooms which IMO should be replaced by LVP. There were stains on the pull out sofa and the shower needs re-grouted. Breakfast was included and good. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. It was also extremely "easy" in that check-in was easy, moving about the hotel was easy, working the entertainment system was easy. Just a comfortable stay. Great place for a restful night.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Staff are amazing and fixed my reservation when I had made a mistake. Free, very nice breakfast. I will definitely continue to stay there.

Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Issue was moisture in the rooms (yes multiple/ we finally went out and bought our own dehunidifier as the carpet, bedding was wet from moisture. Emptied 5 gallons of water from dehumidifier over stay or two nights. Again, the staff tried and we went through multiple rooms trying to find one that wasn’t saturated but finally gave up as it was already 830 pm and we needed to get ready for bed. Breakfast was good, place was nice and clean and only issue was the wet rooms. We appreciate the stafff very much as they tried to help but it was not their fault- it’s poor design of a/c and ventilation.

Check-in was easy but when I noticed the view from my room was the roof of the driveup/checkin spot and mentioned that to checkin person thatview was nice. Her reply was glad you like it. Not what I wanted to hear.

The staff was good. The issue I had in both rooms I was assigned was too much humidity in the air in the rooms. The temperature definitely got cold enough, not saying the room didn't get cold enough but it was like thick & damp & the air needed dehumidifying. I had trouble breathing well so due to this I didn't stay as long as I would've. Instead I went two doors down for the rest of my 2+ week stay. I wondered if I was given less than par rooms because initially I'd booked through expedia. You all lost a lot of business. Not to say I'd never stay again just would leave if at check in the air was thick like that again. The place could use some updating but the staff were all very kind. Oh another thing, maybe when you remodel, don't allow pets in every single room. Many of us have allergies & don't care to stay in rooms where animals are allowed. Designate only certain rooms as pet rooms instead of contaminating all the rooms & carpeting. Oh, did I also mention the staff was good?. They were & I hope you'll acknowledge that. How about an update to those air conditioners or a remodel? That would definitely assure repeat business. By the way, The staff & manager at the Hampton Inn were excellent. The rooms were not damp & the air conditioner functioned appropriately.

Our experience was great except that none of the usb charging ports in our room worked. Staff was nice and helped charge my phone the next morning. Hopefully they get them fixed.

My flights were severely delayed causing me to have to divert to Orlando and then drive another 2 hours to this hotel in Jacksonville. I arrived at 3:30 a.m. as a result and when I got there I couldn’t find a soul to get me checked in. I searched everywhere, called the front desk many times, but nothing. Finally after 25 minutes the front desk person walked through the lobby doors and apologized as she had just given a co-worker a ride home. So… she abandoned the property with no one else there for how long? At least 30 minutes since I had been there for 25. So unbelievably negligent and absolutely frustrating when all I wanted to do was get to sleep as quickly as I could. No clue why anyone would think leaving a hotel with hundreds of guests completely unattended was a good idea but it happened here and made for a rough ending to a really long day!

Most accomodating staff at the front desk -ever. Kari & Chris went over & above during a difficult family medical situation where we needed help booking rooms, canceling rooms & finding space at another hotel due to HE being full. The housekeeping staff was also friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean & breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

The staff were nice but we were there 4 night and 5 days and they never changed our bed, they never vacuumed the floor and for two days we change our garbage cans. We told the front desk once about changing our sheets and they said they will talk to the housekeeping manager but that didn’t changed anything, the last day we were there, the hotel manager came and changed our sheets. The are not happy about that.

I enjoyed my stay. All of the staff was very nice. Steven the kitchen supervisor was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. Dining was within walking distance, shopping area was easy to find and a short drive. I would definitely stay here again.

I have previously enjoyed exceptional stays at InterContinental properties, notably in San Diego and Sanya. During a recent business trip, due to the absence of a nearby InterContinental hotel, I chose the Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville South Bartram Park (13934 Village Lake Circle, Jacksonville, FL 32258) for a two-night stay from March 20 to March 22, 2025, trusting the IHG brand. After my first night, I requested a late check-out, which Mr. Rojo, a courteous long-haired male staff member, promptly approved. However, merely an hour later, Ms. Chris, a female staff member who was overweight, wearing glasses, with a slight bald spot, and dressed in a red and white floral shirt, rudely rescinded this agreement without providing any valid reason. Her demeanor was unprofessional and hostile, raising serious concerns about racial discrimination, especially as her colleague appeared embarrassed by her conduct and even questioned her decision by asking, “Are you serious?” In all my years of traveling and staying at various hotels, I have never encountered such blatant discrimination. This incident is completely unacceptable and has severely tarnished my perception of the IHG brand. I strongly advise fellow travelers to reconsider staying at this property to avoid potential discriminatory treatment.

Me and my family stayed here for the duration of a weekend for the GA/FL game. The hotel’s location was really convenient for us. We were close to the stadium, shopping and different food choices. I would definitely go back here if I had to make another trip to Jacksonville. The room was pretty spotless when we arrived even though I still performed my own disinfecting and cleaning.

The beds are extremely comfortable, but the pillows not as much. Great location being close to the fwy and food options. Husband enjoyed the pond out front and caught and released several good sized bass during our visit. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We stayed a total of 4 nights. Only one of those they served bacon with the breakfast and it was great bacon! Over all a good stay and would recommend

Excellent stay. The room was nice & clean & spacious. We had a room with 2 Queen beds. I loved their breakfast. They have delicious cinnamon rolls. I also love that they had egg white omelettes w/ veggies as an option, and they had regular omelettes with cheese & scrambled eggs. They have a pretty nice fitness center for a Holiday Inn Express. It was larger than other ones I’ve stayed at. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Jacksonville.

Hotel was nice & clean. The gentleman that checked us in was awesome! Otherwise the staff hardly acknowledged us at all. The breakfast was horrid. The. Hot water was room temperature at best. Coffee was nasty . No tea bags and breakfast staff was not helpful at all

Everything was okay but I did have a concern. We stayed 3 nights and on the second night I thought the bed lien would be changed but I was informed by the staff the housekeeper was gone for the night and I had to request this service. I was not aware of this policy it was not told to me at check-in nor was it in print. I suggest it be somewhere in the room , on a card or pamphlet to be seen by guests. I also recommend the breakfast hours be extended until 10:00 AM each day.

Our entire room felt damp/wet I could not walk with socks on because they got damn the shower was moldy it was a handicap room we did not need a handicap room it could have been much cleaner the lady at the counter the night before we left and it was okay because we believe in the morning she didn't want to do anything about it we were very unhappy and not pleased at all if I knew how to ask for my money back I would

Stayed here twice in a period of 3 days to break up travel. I had 2 different rooms each on a different floor. In both rooms only the USB plug under the TV worked none of the 4 near the bed work. In the 1st room the whole room looked nice but smelled like a bathroom and the additional flip lock was missing from the door. In the 2nd room on top of the USB plugs not working the thermostat was dead as well also the room a different room might I add had the overpowering smell of bathroom. HIE is behind on tech there is zero streaming services on the TV so stuck with whatever channels they provide like it’s the early 2000’s. In both rooms the sinks had drainage problems and in the 2nd room the toilet ran constantly. It’s a nice area and the staff is super nice but it’s obvious that certain things are not being repaired nor is housekeeping notifying there are issues or if they are management just isn’t taking care of the issues. I give them props for clean rooms, friendly staff and nice location but need to work on room smells and repairs to rooms. I just started trying HIE while traveling and didn’t make a great impression. Had I not already booked the 2nd night for my return trip I would have chosen a different hotel. Sad because it is a nice looking hotel in general.

Hello, everything was amazing. Great parking and use of the office amenities, I.E. computer and printer. Having a shower instead of stepping into a tub was a super plus. On my next visit to JAX I will definitely be stopping by your hotel
