I like the eco-friendly features of the hotel. The room has a cozy “college dorm-like” feel to it. The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows. I especially like the sitting area by the window. The breakfast included with the stay was ample. The front desk staff was personable and efficient. The fitness room is open 24 hours.

My family had a great stay here. The complementary breakfast was a nice touch... not as expansive as some, but all 5 of us found food we liked. The one big drawback for me was that they advertise that they have an EV charger but do not... but unless you have an EV and want the convenience of charging at the hotel, that won't affect you.

The hotel is falsely advertising that they have electric vehicle chargers when they don’t. I planned out my vacation and this hotel for that purpose and the response from the the front desk was unapologetic and poor customer service. When I asked to use a corkscrew to cork a wine bottle they also didn’t have one for hotel guests. It was also interesting that they had a concession area beside the front desk where they sold wine but with no corkscrew to provide. Overall a poor experience and wouldn’t stay there again.

Rooms are newer and updated. Beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean. There was even a washer and dryer in our floor! It was close to palmyra history sites we were there to see. I’d recommend staying here.

The Microtel in Macedon was new and everything was very clean. Staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking. There were snacks & drinks available in the lobby for purchase & a free breakfast in the morning which included make your own waffles. Stay was quiet. Rooms included a fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Overall we were pleasantly surprised given how reasonably priced the stay was, and we would definitely stay again when back in the area.

I loved the smell of cleanliness when I walked in. The lobby was bright and the best microtel lobby I’ve seen this far. However my room was a different story. I was saddened this one didn’t have the window that opened a bit, but not the worst. The air conditioner fan unit did not work and made too much noise so we couldn’t use it, so window would’ve been nice. They also didn’t vacuum the room very well cause I had food bits and things all over the floor. The worst is that they never emptied the bathroom garbage bin and when I went down to get a bag myself to empty it in, they never apologized or offered for housekeeping to come up and take care of it. They also never explained the key to turn on electric in room so I had assumed all outlets didn’t work for the first hour or so until I figured it out. All in all. It wasn’t horrible, but the cleaning staff and appliances should all be down and checked before one checks in.

But the overall cleanliness was not up to my standards.As someone coming from the hospitality industry I have high standards. Stains on carpet and seating in room,blood spatter on bathroom wall from previous occupants and unidentifiable splatters on wall and door. Overall the stay was ok except for the half eaten burrito and sauces that were left in the microwave oven from the previous guests. It was disgusting! The cleaning crew should not have missed that. I informed the manager of the incident and he apologized and said he would address this with the cleaning crew. Also, when I asked Hotels.com rep, before my stay, about a AARP discount, I was told that I should show my AARP card to the front desk person at the hotel and I would receive my discount back to my charge card. This turned out to be totally false. I was informed by the hotel manager that I should book with the hotel directly to receive the discount.

Overall great place to stay. Did have some inconvenience as breakfast area equipment broke down a few times during our stay. Only complaint is in the design of some features. Bathroom towel hooks are too low and allow towels to touch the floor. And the room presence detection turned off A/C many times overnight.

It was our first stay at a Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham. I was very pleased with the style of the rooms. There was a different look with no closet but colorful pegs to use. The lighting was great. There was a padded area on the outside wall where you could sit, but it worked great to place our open suitcases there instead. A comfortable and efficient space that we thoroughly enjoyed.

One of the cleanest hotels i’ve been too, never been to a microtel which was cool! Pretty small room and unfortunately the AC was broken so it got hot in the room, but overall very nice!

I usually try to stay at Marriotts because they're always nice but I needed to stay in an area where there wasn't one. I was apprehensive about getting a room that had Micro in its title but it was anything but small. My wife and I were so pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend them.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean, but felt crowded. No bathroom counter to speak of. I reported that the body wash in our shower was empty and that we would like a towel refresh. The bottle was not replaced and the towels were not refreshed.

Check in took almost 30 minutes. It was more than rediculous. The desk clerk was distracted, but kept saying all of it was a system process. If that is how long each check-in is supposed to take that is a big deterant to ever booking there again. They also had several teams of teen soccer players whose rooms were all over the hotel. My group of seven rooms of seniors was interspersed with the rowdy teens who were loud and smoking weed most of the night. When reported to the front desk by several times nothing was done. A bit of planning ahead on the hotels part could have prevented a really rough night.

This hotel was average. It was a clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast is basic. Staff didn’t seem well trained. Desk was definitely not manned 24 hours as we had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to return to check us in. Overall just a hotel to sleep in.

The property and room was great. Breakfast wasn't much to be desired. I paid on arrival but they charged my card again the next morning. I spoke to the manager and he seen right away where it was double charged. Told me he would take care of it and gave me his business card. I had the money back in my card 2 days later

Overall A+n Hallways get noisy when doors slam shut. Breakfast (heat and eat mostly), waffle maker, juices. Full size pillows, walk-in shower, much appreciated with mobility-challenged person. Rooms are newer and updated. Beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean. There was even a washer and dryer in our floor! It was close to palmyra history sites we were there to see. I’d recommend staying here.

Check in was smooth, quick, service was pleasant. Thin walls so fortunately guests in adjoining rooms were not too noisy. Free breakfast was lacking fresh or even canned fruit, was very carb heavy, leaving those with a gluten intolerance very few options.

No towels, no room cleaning. I know that is the new normal but it sucks, Breakfast was nice although the waffle maker kept clogging up and the attendant was frantic trying to do breakfast and the front desk at the same time. Nice location for us and the hotel was nice and clean.

Decent place to stay for a couple of nights. Room was clean, water was warm. Breakfast was pretty sad, neither day offered any fresh fruit. The most frustrating event is that sometimes my room key would work, other times no. So here I am up/down, up/down the steps to the front desk. After multiple failed attempts I just became escorted to my room. Happened a few different times, no one know why.

This hotel was average. It was a clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast is basic. Staff didn’t seem well trained. Desk was definitely not manned 24 hours as we had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to return to check us in. Overall just a hotel to sleep in.

We love our stays at Microtel hotels. The room is always spotless and the towels are nice and fluffy. We love that they provide extra towels! The only complaint is that there's no hot protein at breakfast, which is something we like to see in our hotels.

Everything was great, other than breakfast the first day - it apoeared there was no staff to replenish anything, so no bread for toast, no milk for cereal. It was better our second morning, however. Room was clean; love the bath products. Very quiet - it is appreciated! Staff was professional and pleasant.

The one front desk lady became argumentative when she accused me of not sharing my service animal was with me, that was a outright lie. She insisted I was checked in by her (I wasn't!), she was rude and it was clear she wanted to argue. I've stayed at many places around the country and have also worked at hotels myself and the customer service here was by any means some of the worst I have ever experienced. Not only was it my birthday she took time away that I can't get back because I had to report this Behavior to corporate as a formal complaint. Instead of saying Thank you sir I'm sorry for bothering you she wanted to argue I had to walk away And be the bigger person Because I could see clearly that's what she wanted to do I spent way too much money To be treated in this form. And unfortunately she dampened the whole experience because there was good staff... Thebresponse:Dear Tammy, Thank you for responding. However, I feel that your response addresses an issue that was not the primary concern of my complaint. This was never simply about whether I was charged a pet fee or whether my service animal was ultimately registered. The issue was the principle of how I was treated and the disrespectful way the situation was handled. The front desk employee involved was Aniche. I understand that the hotel may have a standard procedure for documenting service animals, and I have no issue with a hotel following its pol
