Quality Inn Americus

The place is outdated, but it was clean, and the rooms were comfortable.

Somewhat rundown. Quiet. Good for one night

We stayed for one night after the Windsor was sold out. King size bed was comfortable and the linens clean and soft. Hot water in the shower was a pleasant surprise given the drab, dreary and shabby condition of the rest of this neglected hotel. Felt "ick". Not the standard we hope for, look for or expect with the hotel accommodations we book. That said we slept well. It did ok in a pinch. Staff were friendly enough. Pool looked great! But was closed for. inspection. Just our luck.

Hotel was booked for a one night stay while visiting our son at GSW's end of regular season baseball weekend. We preferred the Windsor but rooms were sold out. Quality Inn is dated, drab and shabby in many aspects, not the standard we look for in a hotel. However the room was clean, king bed comfortable, bed linens soft and clean, and the shower was hot. Coffee in the morning was served in a styrofoam cup because they had "run out of mugs" -- but there were only two other people in the breakfast area. Floor in dining area was sticky. Pool looked inviting but even that was not open for the season pending inspection. Staff were pleasant.

I go to Americus once a month and always stay here. It is a little dated but that doesn't interfere with friendly Staff, comfortable room, cook to order breakfast, quiet and good location and a nice pool area. I would like more tv channels, mostly sports channels.

Ok for price....reasonably clean.......old property.....but "OK" for good price is YES.

Front desk staff member was very personable and helpful with areas to visit and dining options. Nice green spaces for walking. Pool closed for season but very nice area.

Bathroom tub area had mold and vent was covered with dust. Would never stay there again.

The bathroom was dirty! The tub,the walls, the floor the toilet. We stayed because there were good reviews for room cleanliness. Highly disappointed and was not the case.

Room is large and clean - housekeeping was great AND a made to order breakfast - all at a very fair price.

It was dirty, there was water damage in the ceiling. The AC didn't work, it was leaking so the floor was wet. And all of our clothes as well as the bed was damp. The blankets and sheets were dirty. The walls were dirty and stained. The AC was off when we arrived, so the room had a musty smell. If I had checked in earlier in the day, instead of late last night, I wouldn't have stayed there. I would rather have just lost my money. I would NEVER recommend that hotel chain to anyone.

Had a roach on bed at check-in. Toilet had no pressure. Trouble flushing. Had to repeat flushing. Sometimes 2 to 3 times. Front desk people was super nice.

It was not clear if the breakfast was continental or not. There was hair on the soap dish next to the sink. There was a cigarette hole in the fitted sheet. There was not a staff member at the desk for check out.

tHE ROOM WAS SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL.

Front desk attendant was awesome very helpful and pleasant..u fortunately the air-conditioning didn't work properly and room had a smokers oder it was supposed to a non smokeing room I sprayed the room down and it helped a lot beds comfortable and breakfast was good, good location, will stay again and hopefully the air conditioner works better.

I have stayed here many times while visiting Americus. Overall for the areas options. Its the best youll find. No bugs on any visits. Staff is nice, rooms are decent for what it is..Old and Outdated. Hot water and water pressure is great!

Overall, for the value, this was a good choice. I only had a couple of negatives: I had a roach crawl across the mirror over the sink on night one, but no other sightings after that; the toilet did not have much flushing power and never fully emptied the bowl. I was on the second floor and there was only one accessible ice machine on level one at the back of the property. The bed was relatively comfortable and the room was not spotless, but felt clean and the location is convenient to downtown Plains and Americus.

This was my second visit here and both times, staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, courteous and helpful! My room was recently renovated and much better than last visit. Comfy bed. Price was good. Loved the to-order eggs breakfast rather than continental. Locals even hang out here together for coffee! Now, if they would just turn off the 24-news in the restaurant...(Weather Channel is always a good option for tourists.) Thanks Quality Inn Americus -- i would speak highly of your place. The bed was so hard. Felt like I was sleeping on a boxspring without a mattress. The bathroom door at the bottom was warp; really needs replacing. The windows and door needs to be sealed to keep the cold air out. The heat was on 80 degrees but the room was still cold from the draft in the windows, and door.

This place was advertised as a hotel but was actually a rundown motel in a rough part of town. The bathroom was filthy and poorly maintained, the bathroom photo attached speaks for itself. I didn’t feel safe and checked out early, only to be told they “couldn’t” process a refund or acknowledge my checkout. It felt like a setup to keep the money regardless. Avoid this place at all costs. It was misleading, unsafe, and unkept. Don’t make the mistake I did. Always double-check location, photos, and reviews before booking.

Sam, Kaitlyn, Darusia are always just wonderful! This is my go to place for my long stays in Americus. The customer service is great, the room in nice, and the owner is always doing great upgrades to the property. They have a wonderful breakfast and lunch that has a waiting line of people before the doors are open!!!

Stayed for 3 nights because I was attending funeral. Breakfast is provided with a surcharge of just under $4 dollars .. First day I come down for breakfast at 645am . No one is there to cook yet is what I was told! They are supposed to start serving at 6am! I waited till about 730 and then breakfast was available . Next morning I come down for breakfast( day of funeral ) at 630 and I’m told they have no food to serve and they are waiting for eggs!!! So I sit there and wait for a hour and drink a cup of coffee and still no eggs available! So I have to get ready for funeral . Now remember complete breakfast is just under $4 which is resealable … eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuit or toast and coffee… that’s the only choices. So after a hour wait I still pay $3 for a cup of coffee and have to leave. Day 3 I get up to check out and load my car and go to to lobby to check out and no one is there … so I wait thinking maybe they are taking care of a customer or in the restroom .40 minutes later I call the hotel from the lobby and someone answers . I say I’m trying to check out and nobody is here… the person on phone says I will be right there. A few minutes later a lady shows up and it’s the hostess from the restaurant that had me wait the 2 previous days in the restaurant . She says I’m sorry the associate hasn’t showed up for work yet! I say can you check me out ? She says yes… you’re not staying for breakfast? I said no thank you after the last 2 days! So 3 stars is high rating!

Run down. Tile falling into the tub in the bathroom. Room filthy. Carpet worn. Questionable people moving about the property. An absolute dump. Booked another room and moved out after an hour.

The location was quiet & property was very well kept. The rooms were nice, clean & comfy will be staying again.

Overall, for the value, this was a good choice. If you want to woke up at 1am with drug deals outside our door and the couple prostitutes there, great place to stay.. If you want rest and sleep, go somewhere else...

Was there to tour the Little White House. Very conveniently located

The hotel location being right off HWY 19 was helpful and easy to find. The room was clean and stocked well with all necessities. The AC was cold, the bedsheets were clean and comfy, but the pillows were not comfy. The shower curtain needs an update yet the shower water pressure was very good. The restaurant food was Great and reasonable priced. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Good location near restaurants and convenience stores. Access to highway easy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Knobs in tub loose, not working well on the cold side. Had conditioner and shampoo containers on the wall of shower/tub that were empty.

My husband and I stayed there and was told when we checked in that they had a restaurant on site serving breakfast , we went to the restaurant at 830 the next morning and was told before we could even sit down that they were out of food , really? disappointing especially since there were at least 15 people in restaurant eating , drinking coffee, we were not even permitted to get coffee.....stay somewhere else in americus ,like the Best Western or something .....we will never stay there again

Property was easily accessible to the event i attended. Breakfast was included but there was nothing for me to eat since I don't eat meat and meat products. I had coffee and juice, there was no fruit or yogurt. You had to place your breakfast order with the cashier in the breakfast area, eggs, bread, bacon or sausage. Pillows are inexpensive so there is no reason for pillows to have stains on them, I use my blue light to inspect bed, pillows and everything in the room. I now travel with my own pillows because it is gross to sleep on dirty pillows.

They keep running out of meat for breakfast before 9am

The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. My favorite was the cooked to order breakfast that was included. No fake eggs on a hot bar, real food served by nice folks. I travel a lot for work and usually stay at Hampton Inns and similar hotels, but I would stay her on all future trips to Americus.

Staff was FANTASTIC!!! Very friendly and upbeat. Facilities were average. Liked the eggs-to-order breakfast, even for $3.50. Apparently many locals come for the lunch buffet, so must be good! I’d stay again.

Gretat place to stay and the breakfast and lunch buffet are amazing.
