Fantastic 2 night stay for a trip to Longleat. The room was top class, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, fridge with fresh juice water and milk. Lots of little touches. Excellent breakfast- cooked to order and our evening meal was first class. Only negative is that it wasn’t open on our first night- Tuesday. That was our fault for not checking though. Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

Room was great, although a little warm, even with the radiator turned v low and window open but clean and lovely touches such as fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge, homemade biscuits and even small hot water bottles. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door with large gaps, not ideal but also not a big issue. Staff were amazing, evening meal was v good, breakfast was amazing! You won't go hungry. Large car park, great views and in a quiet remote setting. Will be back

Loved this place! The room was clean and tidy, plus the bed to my husband and I was comfortable! We ate dinner and breakfast at the inn ... excellent!!! Easy to locate and park. Highly recommend!

Lovely accommodation, very clean and pristine, food was excellent with great breakfast choices and evening meal in the bar was also excellent, great shame for was not served on Sunday evening and we did struggle to find anywhere local that was serving food as they all seemed to stop at 4 pm!

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spotlessly clean, every thing you needed for your stay, really comfy bed, plenty of parking, best breakfast we’ve had, a little more variety on the evening menu would be good, Will definitely stay again

The room was very clean and well equipped and the hotel itself is in a beautiful tranquil spot. The decor is very tasteful and modern but also very homely. The breakfast was spot on- quality sausage and bacon cooked to perfection. Unfortunately it was closed for food on a Sunday evening so I can’t comment on the restaurant menu- we look forward to trying that on another visit! Highly recommend.

The inn is beautiful, the staff was great and breakfast lovely. However, the rest of the facilities was closed, which was a bit of a supplies so had to travel to eat and no bar so only had what was in the room but there was no service in the room so on the second evening there was no coffee, juice, bottled water or milk. Such a petty because the property is perfect.

Property is well maintained. Lovely decor. Outside area is great. Rooms cosy and homely. Hot Water bottles a lovely touch. Fresh orange. Water and fresh milk in the mini fridge. Food is excellent. Lovely area to eat in and breakfast was hot and tasty. Would go again and hve been back 3 or 4 times already. Great place.

I Booked the Inn for myself and 2 work colleagues ( Who came down from Swansea and Sheffield ) The Inn looked lovely , quiet and we wanted a nice stay over - Some food and a drink during the night PROBLEM - When we arrived the Inn had a sign outside CLOSED - The pub was shut on Monday and Tuesday - So we we could not have a drink or any food - The landlord let us in , and i explained - But he said he was sorry because he has to control on what Hotel.com advertise. i have since looked on the Hotel.com website - and there is no mention of the Inn being closed on Monday and Tuesdays - It actually says it serves food daily - After paying over £100 per night - I was upset to say the least - We travelled to the nearest pub 3 miles away for food - A lovely pub The Woolpack at Beckington - i wish i had booked there. So if you do book there - Remember the Pub is shut on Monday and Tuesday - The pub - Room - Breakfast and the staff were lovely though.

The room was lovely and very clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular! The food was amazing! And the staff and local people were really lovely too. Also a really beautiful garden. A lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet and nice friendly people.

Super clean and comfortable room. Excellent bathroom/shower and amenities. The breakfast was perfect….good quality, loads of premium choices. The owners and staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Clearly they know their stuff and we can absolutely recommend. Thank you.

What a gem ! Unfortunately I was only staying for one night. Will definitely return for please trip rather than business. Immaculate room (No5) with everything I needed. Bed was really comfortable and I had a great sleep. Food in the evening was great and in the morning they were kind enough to make a take away breakfast bap as I had to leave early. 10/10.

Fabulous property in a quiet rural location. Wonderful welcome by Eve. Room big, recently refurbished, lovely bed, spotlessly clean. Milk, water, orange juice in fridge and homemade cookies (with full moon logo) Amazing breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented (all local produce and delicious) Highly recommend this gem of a place.

What a gem of a place! Friendly, helpful staff, delicious breakfast with lots of choice of buffet items as well as cooked to order dishes. Stunning bedroom and en suite. Everything beautifully clean and thoughtfully presented. Loved the bespoke biscuits featuring an impression of the Full Moon Inn, packed in a brown paper bag closed with a tiny wooden peg. There was a notebook and eco pencil which has a seed capsule at the end which can be planted in a pot or the garden. Can’t wait to see our sprouts grow! The Inn is in a very quiet location with beautiful countryside surrounding it. We used it as a base to visit Frome, but next time we will visit Bath from there. We met Eve, Kim and Rich who made sure we had everything we needed and Kim told us lots about the local area and Frome. Don’t miss out, visit the Full Moon Inn and have a very pleasant stay

Fantastic little B&B and pub. Lovely rooms which were spotless with lovely views out over the pub garden and Wiltshire countryside. The staff were so attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Richard the chef went over and above to meet our dietary requirements (allergies and intolerances). Breakfast is not to be missed with lovely local produce and fantastic sausages! The room was spotless and had lovely touches like milk, juice and water in the fridge and homemade shortbread biscuits. A selection of artisan bread was delivered fresh in the morning, and an excellent selection of pastries and cereals were available to accompany made to order cooked breakfast, eggs Benedict and various other options including veggie. Even the fruit was washed. The room was spotlessly clean with a walk in shower with great water pressure. The locals were fab too, welcoming and full of good tips for places to visit, where to park, eat etc. A very friendly atmosphere in general and dogs were welcome. Everyone seems to be popping in from country walks to grab a bite and relax. The proximity to Frome, Longleat and Bath is ideal but you still feel tucked away in the gorgeous countryside. A real gem, delighted to have found it. I was so pleased I enquired about staying longer.

We enjoyed our stay at The Full Moon Inn. Our room was very comfortable with lovely bedding and decor, plus there were lots of lovely extras (fresh milk & orange juice in the fridge), with particular attention paid to providing local and sustainable products in the room. Sadly the guests in the nextdoor room woke us with their snoring and general noise at the crack of dawn, so the soundproofing could have been better between rooms. Also, the shower floods over the bathroom floor so this could become an issue... Special mention goes to the bar manager/landlady, Eve, who gave us a superb welcome, she was so very kind and helpful and really made us feel at home. Dinner in the pub was delicious. Breakfast was excellent the next morning!

This was a beautiful pub and excellent friendly staff . Only thing we found was walls were very thin so could hear tv and talking next door . We had a meal at lunch fish & chips very nice . But cooked breakfast disappointing as everything was under cooked and poached eggs still raw .But there was a good choice of fresh bread , pastries to help yourself too .

We stayed here upon returning from honeymoon for a night. The service was great, the room was lovely and the food was delicious. The bathroom was very nicely designed, albeit the shower was the open type without a door and we had to put down multiple towels and wring them out to stop the bathroom from flooding! That said everything was lovely, and the breakfast was huge! Would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely stay. The staff were extremely helpful when we arrived later than planned. And made us a packed lynch when we needed to leave before breakfast was served which was much appreciated. The room was lovely. Oniy wish we had longer there.

Lovely relaxing stay. Wonderful team at the Full Moon and a very warm welcome. They couldnt do enough for us. Lovely plentiful breakfast and a great meal in the pub on our first night. Great room with view of the Westbury White Horse. Thank you

Fantastic little B&B and pub. Lovely rooms which were spotless with lovely views out over the pub garden and Wiltshire countryside. The staff were so attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Richard the chef went over and above to meet our dietary requirements (allergies and intolerances). Breakfast is not to be missed with lovely local produce and fantastic sausages! The room was spotless and had lovely touches like milk, juice and water in the fridge and homemade shortbread biscuits. A selection of artisan bread was delivered fresh in the morning, and an excellent selection of pastries and cereals were available to accompany made to order cooked breakfast, eggs Benedict and various other options including veggie. Even the fruit was washed. The room was spotlessly clean with a walk in shower with great water pressure. The locals were fab too, welcoming and full of good tips for places to visit, where to park, eat etc. A very friendly atmosphere in general and dogs were welcome. Everyone seems to be popping in from country walks to grab a bite and relax. The proximity to Frome, Longleat and Bath is ideal but you still feel tucked away in the gorgeous countryside. A real gem, delighted to have found it. I was so pleased I enquired about staying longer.

Quaint village Inn. Room was nicely decorated, furnished and had everything you could need. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the following morning, both of which were excellent. Friendly helpful staff. Conveniently located for visiting Longleat, Stourhead and other attractions. Happy to recommend and would definitely stay there again if in the vicinity.

We had a great night stay at the Full Moon Inn during our visit to Longleat Safari. This is a great location for anyone going there. The room was perfect for the 4 of us ( 2 adults and 2 children) the food was also amazing. We would highly recommend this and look forward to going back.

Beautiful room with so many thoughtful extras! Our evening meal was lovely and breakfast was amazing! So much choice and again fabulous food. We went to the Cheese & Grain in Frome to see a band and this was the perfect peaceful location only 10 minutes away. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

What a gem of a place! Friendly, helpful staff, delicious breakfast with lots of choice of buffet items as well as cooked to order dishes. Stunning bedroom and en suite. Everything beautifully clean and thoughtfully presented. Loved the bespoke biscuits featuring an impression of the Full Moon Inn, packed in a brown paper bag closed with a tiny wooden peg. There was a notebook and eco pencil which has a seed capsule at the end which can be planted in a pot or the garden. Can’t wait to see our sprouts grow! The Inn is in a very quiet location with beautiful countryside surrounding it. We used it as a base to visit Frome, but next time we will visit Bath from there. We met Eve, Kim and Rich who made sure we had everything we needed and Kim told us lots about the local area and Frome. Don’t miss out, visit the Full Moon Inn and have a very pleasant stay

The room was lovely and very clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular! The food was amazing! And the staff and local people were really lovely too. Also a really beautiful garden. A lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet and nice friendly people.

We had a lovely 1 night stay, the room was very comfortable and alot of thought had gone into the room. We were amazed at breakfast, the fresh bread, bakery items, cereals etc and then a lovely cooked to order breakfast. We also had a meal in the pub the evening before and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic 2 night stay for a trip to Longleat. The room was top class, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, fridge with fresh juice water and milk. Lots of little touches. Excellent breakfast- cooked to order and our evening meal was first class. Only negative is that it wasn’t open on our first night- Tuesday. That was our fault for not checking though. Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and pristine, food was excellent with great breakfast choices and evening meal in the bar was also excellent, great shame for was not served on Sunday evening and we did struggle to find anywhere local that was serving food as they all seemed to stop at 4 pm!

This was a beautiful pub and excellent friendly staff . Only thing we found was walls were very thin so could hear tv and talking next door . We had a meal at lunch fish & chips very nice . But cooked breakfast disappointing as everything was under cooked and poached eggs still raw .But there was a good choice of fresh bread , pastries to help yourself too .

I Booked the Inn for myself and 2 work colleagues ( Who came down from Swansea and Sheffield ) The Inn looked lovely , quiet and we wanted a nice stay over - Some food and a drink during the night PROBLEM - When we arrived the Inn had a sign outside CLOSED - The pub was shut on Monday and Tuesday - So we we could not have a drink or any food - The landlord let us in , and i explained - But he said he was sorry because he has to control on what Hotel.com advertise. i have since looked on the Hotel.com website - and there is no mention of the Inn being closed on Monday and Tuesdays - It actually says it serves food daily - After paying over £100 per night - I was upset to say the least - We travelled to the nearest pub 3 miles away for food - A lovely pub The Woolpack at Beckington - i wish i had booked there. So if you do book there - Remember the Pub is shut on Monday and Tuesday - The pub - Room - Breakfast and the staff were lovely though.

Excellent location: quiet and convenient for Longleat. Spacious room with mini fridge that had juice, water and fresh milk, much appreciated! Comfortable bed and really big. Nice bathroom with all you need, even cotton buds! Excellent shower. Delicious breakfast, full English cooked to order. Really nice pub with delicious food, especially the pork bap. Definitely recommend. Negatives: Room not very clean, lots of dust everywhere that clearly had not been cleaned for a while; that was disappointing. TV signal rubbish so could not watched much. Despite the negatives, I would stay again though.

This was our third visit here and again it lived up to expectations. The staff are excellent, friendly, efficient, helpful. Our room was to the usual standard, clean and with all amenities you would expect (tea coffee, safe, fridge, fan) the rooms are larger than most with a comfortable large bed. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice, actually you can have almost what you want, they will oblige. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is to a high standard and with very good service. You should book ahead if you intend to eat in. large pleasant garden area with plenty of tables. We stayed during the June heatwave and the room was very hot as there is no aircon, however we suspect that this is the case for 95% of rooms during this period. This would not stop us staying here again

First time visitors to this lovely establishment chosen as it had character and not too far from Longleat where we were heading next day. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—they were friendly, attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was excellent, with delicious meals and a great breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the B&B is, loved seeing all the canines in the bar and garden. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We can't wait to return! ***** 5 stars from us!
