Hyatt Place Augusta

Sehr gute Übernachtung auf Durchreise mit perfektem Frühstück und sehr freundlicher Rezeption. Als Veganer ist das Frühstücken schwierig, hier hatten wir zwei Sorten an Veganer Milch, Soja- und auch Mandelmilch - super! 3 Woche Hotels und dies war das einzige mit Veganer Milch, sonst haben wir die immer mitgeschleppt. Schöner Fitnessraum, schöner Pool, geräumiges schönes Zimmer, sehr gerne wieder.

Breakfast was included. It was great. Staff was friendly. The parking was free and tons of spaces

Maybe let people know that the pool is closed before they arrive? Very disappointing but the rest of our one night stay was okay

The kitchen was closed in the evening so I had to go out and get dinner. Breakfast the next morning was really good.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and roomy. However, the bathroom sliding door was off the rail and I could not get it to close. The heating/cooling was extremely loud. It kept me and my husband awake most of the night. The bar area was clean, chicken wings and fries were great. Bartender was very pleasant and sociable.

The lobby bar was hardly ever open. Breakfast needed restocked sooner. Room condition was ok but showed some age. Staff was very friendly but maybe needed more, thats why breakfast and bar service was average.

Cable was out. AC in room not keeping up. Making floor moist with dew. Pool was green. Fitness room no A/C. 87-90*. Crickets and bugs in fitness room. Loose toilet seat. Bathroom door handle missing. Staff was very polite but accommodations below expected. Needed to stay additional days, but choose another hotel.

This place should not deceive the public with Hyatt in the name its not remotely close to any Hyatt big nasty stains on the carpet,toilet rockes not secure to the floor swimming pool not open in the middle of June, walls & doors damaged in hallway, no alchol at the bar they had lots of top shelf bottles on display but when ordering drinks we were told that they were full of vinegar!!!! No microwave in any of the rooms, so we looked forward to the breakfast extravaganza only to be disappointed again I go to get skimmed milk only to find the milk is spoiled after taking a sip, i go to get scrambled eggs only to find a hair, i was in town for a funeral and was disappointed paying Hyatt regency prices!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Hotel staff was very nice but the hotel looked run down. Room service missed our room twice even though we took the " need a little more time "sign off the doors when the cart was outside our door. Carpet looked old and ripped, furniture was beat up, fridge didn't work, tolet was loose, back door didnt close or lock. The staff did its best to make it look clean but it needs some love.

Hallway on second floor smells like cigarette smoke. The room was set on 77 degrees, smelled like mildew and the refrigerator smelled like bad cheese. The staff was extremely friendly/helpful and the bed was super comfortable. I was too tired from traveling to try and switch rooms.

The area was nice. The only downfall was the room smelled bad and stains on the floors.

Check in was super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room looked clean enough but had a kind of old/mildewy smell when I first entered. Decent breakfast provided.

Friendly staff and generally clean room, but could use a refresh or deep clean. Stained carpet, slight mildew smell in bathroom and the door needed an extra push to “click” locked.

My coffee machine had milk in it from the last guess and I went to turn on the machine and sour milk went everywhere smh the smell in this room right now horrible

Booked a king, none left. No toilet paper in room. Spider in shower and roach crawling on carpet between beds.

Booked a King room and when checking in was told they only had queen rooms available as the King rooms unoccupied were “out of service.” The room we stayed in was dated, but yet clean so not a huge deal breaker. Noise from the room above could be heard as well as alarm clock going off in room beside us. In a positive note, best breakfast spread I have seen at a hotel:)

A newer or remodeled hotel that featured standup showers rather than tubs, at least in the premium rooms that we rented. Spacious rooms. Everything seem very clean.

Great room. They only thing I recommend is they put in some USB ports

I liked how spacious and well-kept my room was. The hotel was very quiet. I enjoyed the free breakfast, business center and outdoor seating area. The staff were very helpful! I will return if I'm in the area!

Wifi was terrible. Room was beautiful.

The hotel was in great condition and very clean. My only complaint is that the doors don’t touch the floor so you can hear everything in the hallways at night (talking, doors slamming shut, etc.)

Checked in at about 8:30pm and received our room right away. Upon entering the room we noticed that it was very muggy and hot. We went too look at the A/C and it was set to 66° but showing only 75° currently in the room and it appeared to be actively running. We called downstairs and they said they’d get someone to reset the unit but we opted to just change rooms. When we came downstairs to change rooms they decided to then inform us that all the TVs were out in the entire hotel, except for the lobby. We should have been told that prior to check in. We then went to our new room and experienced the same issue with the A/C. We called back down and waited for the maintenance guy to come reset it even though once again it was on and running. All he did was take the unit off the wall and put it back on. He said that we just needed to wait a while and that our original room had cooled down. We opted to go back to our original room and it had indeed cooled down. We woke up constantly throughout the night to discover that the unit had stopped running again and was showing 75° in the room. We had to reset the unit 2x as we had seen the maintenance guy do to get it running properly again. This was an extremely dissapointing stay. To make matters worse the only reason we were staying in a hotel was because we usually stay with family while visiting here but they keep their house so hot that we never sleep well there and we figured we’d finally get a good night sleep in a hotel.

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. The people who work here are the best. The place is very clean. My complaint is the air conditioning in my room sucked. It wouldn’t let me lower the temperature below 66, and it wouldn’t even maintain that temperature. This caused me to have some of the worst sleep I’ve had in a while. A bummer given how great everything else was. Also, low key, they have the best tasting free breakfast I’ve had in a while.

Great staff

I used online check-in because I knew my flight was running late. When I got the hotel at 11:30ish PM, they checked me in and sent me to my room. Upon unlocking the door it wouldn't open but a little bit as the security bolt was in place. I said hello but no one would answer. Went back down to the front desk and upon the news they scrambled around for about 20 minutes before admitting they had no more rooms and couldn't find me a single room within 50 miles. Thanks Hyatt, Bravo!

Our room was not ready at check in at 4:00. They told us they didn’t know when our room would be ready. We were told they had two house keepers and over 30 rooms to clean. I had to change and get for a wedding at 5:00 in the hotel restroom.

Every employee of this Hyatt was friendly, helpful and fun. They acted as if they had a vested interest in the quality of the experience. I truly appreciated it.

Even after numerous requests, never cleaned or made up my room til last day. Terrible service.

The staff truly make this place wonderful. Excellent customer service that’s friendly and inviting. The late night receptionists are top tier and the housekeeping & kitchen staff will go above and beyond for patrons. The only complaint I have is about the lack of microwaves in the rooms. That was super inconvenient. The staff definitely make up for this though.

The Hyatt Place Augusta was exceptionally nice. It was very clean. It was welcoming. And It was accommodating. Our overnight stay gave was a Peaceful Night.

The place was great and convenient to get to the FT. Eisenhower military base.

Nice property, clean and quiet

The hotel is nice, it's in a convenient location if you need to go to Evans, Grovetown or downtown Augusta. The staff was nice and the experience was good.

The property was conviently located off 1-20 express way.

We stayed overnight on our way to New Orleans. Was perfectly located directly off I-20. The staff was very polite and helpful. Our room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The continental breakfast was included and very fresh options. We’d stay here again.

Good location for Fort Gordon

The bar and bartender was amazing. Having a little bar to go for a nightcap was fantastic. The computers for guest access were also awesome to have. The breakfast was also fantastic. The only complaint I have was a musty smell in the hallway on the third floor where we stayed. We were there for five days and the smell was pungent when you walk off the elevator all the way to the middle of the hallway.

This is always my favorite place to stay when I’m in Augusta. Everyone is so nice and so kind and so polite. The breakfast in the morning is to die for it’s some of the best breakfast in a hotel I’ve ever had in my entire life. The ladies there are so kind and will get you anything you need. The front desk staff is very kind and I just appreciate everything that they do.

Conveniently located for my particular business purposes. Quiet, respectful. Breakfast was always wonderful.

Unfortunately this visit, I encountered several bugs in the room I was originally assigned, two small roaches and something bigger and unidentifiable in the tub. On that issue alone I asked the desk people and called the general manager and have yet to receive any compensation or real apology as I ended up changing rooms shortly before midnight my firat night there. My other issue was the breakfast was awful. There were no real enjoyable edible options. I was told that the hotel would be closing in November for upgrades and thats kinda what it felt like, no money spent on edible food choices, limited service and a kinda of lets just get to the shutdown date and then we out attitude. I likely will not be back even after the renovations. In the meantime consider your choices for future hotwl stays. Disappointed!!!

Nice and clean with a nice breakfast. However, the pool was down and the cable was out.

POSITIVE: The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is great and convenient. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Hotel bar is great and hotel decor is beautiful. Hotel is very clean and kept up (except peeling wallpaper in the bathroom). NEGATIVE: Hotel should consider removing the carpet, has a slight mildew smell. Housekeeping does not clean rooms even when requested. We were told you have to request housekeeping. Phones are more for decoration, there was no cord attached to ours. Internet service is a little unreliable. Pool area has a lot of little bugs around and are all in the pool.

Literally, walking in the door, we saw how fresh and clean the hotel was from floor to ceiling. From our first encounter with the front desk staff, we were greeted with a welcoming smile and kindness. We were given our room keys and informed of the complimentary breakfast and about the options for lunch and dinner at the bar as well as the hours each meal was available. Upon entering the elevator and then the hallway to our room, we smelled no mold or musty carpet, only the fresh scent of cleaning products. Our room was crispy clean and freshly prepared by the super warm and friendly housekeeping staff. We shared a laugh with them and thanked them for their service. I also met a gentleman cleaning the bathroom in the first floor reception area and I apologized for interrupting his work. He apologized to me and told me he would wait to finish his work until I was done using the facilities. I thanked him with a handshake and he warmly replied, "My pleasure. Enjoy your time here." I would definitely recommend this hotel that is set at the highest point on a hill, overlooking a good portion of Augusta, a quaint, quiet and comfortable town, out of the way from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff was phenomenal and the complimentary breakfast was superb, with Sherry at the helm. We had fresh-cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal with milk, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, pancakes, waffles, home fries and more. 5-star in our book for a very affordable price!
