Pros: great breakfast, nice pool (small), easy beach access, many restaurants to choose from, close enough to split, charming towns and coastal walk, friendly staff. Cons: the room we reserved was no longer available which changed our sleeping accommodations, no safe in the room, no laundry service while we stayed, Ubers to Split run you at least €20, some of the local restraints have sub-par service and don’t seem to like tourists, parts of the area—not along the coast—are still very much up and coming.

Wir haben das Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp gebucht. Um sich Split anzusehen wirklich gut geeignet. Zimmer und Frühstück waren wirklich gut. Ein kleiner, sauberer Pool ist vorhanden. Parkplätze sind ausreichend direkt vor der Tür vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist für Kurzaufenthalte zu empfehlen.

Good beds and excellent staff. availability of pool towels for the beach was a plus. good self serve breakfast with many options. the only downside was the lack of a view from the outdoor patio of our room which was on the side of the hotel. the booking led us to believe there would be a water view. Parking was also a bit tricky, though typical for Europe.

Staff were welcoming and helpful and swimming pool was nice. Hotel room was on 1sr floor and you could hear any noise from outside the room. Walk to Kastela was lovely and nice restaurants around 15 mins away

We had a very pleasant stay at Riva Hotel in Kaštel, Split. The hotel is in a fantastic beachfront location, offering an excellent sea view straight from the room — perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout, making the experience even smoother. In terms of location, it’s not only right by the beach but also conveniently close to Split Airport and very close to Trogir, which made sightseeing easy. The resort area itself is peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for us as we did not want to stay in the busier Split — where there also seem to be quite a few derelict buildings. An added bonus is the ample-sized free car park, which is especially convenient if you’re travelling by car. Overall, it offers very good value for money — a comfortable stay with beautiful views, excellent service, and easy access. This is ideal for anyone looking for a low-key holiday with easy access to the beach, Trogir, Split, or the airport. We would definitely recommend it.

Wouldnt recommend this hotel. We lost 450 euro in the hotel. They promised to check their cameras and call us back which they never did. Broken airco in the room. They dont clean the rooms, they just give new towels. Very bad breakfast.

Als wir am Tag unserer Ankunft ins Hotelzimmer ankamen, sah alles zunächst sauber aus. Als wir die Räumlichkeiten genauer begutachteten, sahen wir im Badezimmer trotz Sauberkeits Siegel auf der Toilette sehr viel Dreck. Schimmel an der Decke, verstopfter Abfluss voll mit Haaren, sowie Haare an den Armaturen der Dusche. Alles war voller kalkflecken auf den Waschbecken Schrank. Duschkopf war auch voller Kalk und funktionierte nicht richtig. Zudem gab es nur eiskaltes Wasser, was in einem winzigen Strahl rauskam, wenn man das überhaupt Wasserstrahl nennen kann. Nachdem wir auch darauf aufmerksam machten, wurde am nächsten Tag das Zimmer trotzdem nicht gesäubert, woraufhin wir selbst aus eigener Tasche Desinfektion kaufen mussten und grob alles säuberten. Die Terrasse mit den Stühlen war auch komplett dreckig und an den Gardinen waren Flecken. Die Lage ist zwar direkt am Strand, jedoch sehr klein, extrem steinig und voller Algen. Sah eher aus wie ein See Abschnitt für Hunde zum Baden. Das einzige positive was ich nennen kann, waren die sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mädels am Empfang. Putzpersonal aber sehr unfreundlich. Dieses Hotel sollte sich nochmal umbennen, da dies absolut nichts mit einem 4 Sterne Hotel zutun hat. Zumal noch der Preis viel zu überteuert dafür ist. Da waren wir vergleichsweise bei unseren anderen Unterkünften die saubere und schöne Apartments waren viel günstiger dran. Man sollte sich von den positiven Bewertungen nicht täuschen lassen.

Our flight home from Split was rescheduled for the following day INVOLUNTARILY! A big inconvenience and a day of lost work. However, we were able to schedule at Hotel Riva and check in early! Our first interaction with staff was incredibly professional, understanding and kind. Everyone we encountered could not have been nicer! Our room was conveniently located on a floor that we did not have to use stairs; it was spotless, very large, comfortable and had an attached outdoor deck with view of the sea. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, excellent room! Would stay again!

Wouldnt recommend this hotel. We lost 450 euro in the hotel. They promised to check their cameras and call us back which they never did. Broken airco in the room. They dont clean the rooms, they just give new towels. Very bad breakfast.

Amazing location close to beach and good transport links to split, trogir and the airport. The staff were lovely and helpful. Had an issue in the room that the resolved immediately. Cleaners were really friendly too! Incredible views from the balcony. The pool didn’t get really busy which was nice. The whole hotel was very clean. Nice stay in a lovely place!

The hotel is in a fantastic beachfront location, offering an excellent sea view straight from the room — perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. In terms of location, it’s not only right by the beach but also conveniently close to Split Airport and very close to Trogir, which made sightseeing easy. We booked the hotel because of it's location close to the Airport and between Split and Trogir. Very easy to get around from it. The nearby beach was a letdown conpared to the beaches on Brac and Hvar. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially the girl in the reception. With some small upgrades here and there this would be a really really good hotel, but it fell short a couple of places: No restaurant or bar, even though the pictures show a restaurant. Breakfast was very average, and they serve the same limited menu each day. Nothing in fridge/minibar, though they sell soda and beer in the reception. Some better furniture on the lovely veranda would also have improved the overall impression. All in all we are happy with our stay conpared to what we paid, but we feel kims of tricked by the missing restaurant, which felt like false marketing.

Property was newly rennovated and very comfortable to stay in. It is in a great quiet location right in between split city center and Trogir, about 15 -20 minutes drive from both. There is a lovely waterfront beach right across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful in accommodating all of our needs, the breakfast that wasn't included was also very enjoyable and included a wide variety of food and drinks. Small suggestion is just for there to be an extra garbage can in the room outside of the washroom.

The hotel was very cute and clean. It is just steps from the beach but not in the touristy part of town. We booked that hotel for our last night there solely for the proximity to the airport, an 11min drive. It was also a plus that they had a few restaurant choices within walking distance.

The area has nice walks and cycle trails, easy access into Split. Options for a sea swim right outside the hotel. Great views from the balcony rooms and a very reasonable price too.

Good beds and excellent staff. availability of pool towels for the beach was a plus. good self serve breakfast with many options. the only downside was the lack of a view from the outdoor patio of our room which was on the side of the hotel. the booking led us to believe there would be a water view. Parking was also a bit tricky, though typical for Europe.

Lovely wee hotel in an awesome location! Lovely staff throughout - always happy to help! Extremely clean too - which you’d expect from a 4 star hotel but don’t always see!! Only very minor negative mentioning to management would be that although breakfast is lovely with plenty on offer, perhaps a little change on options from day to day would make it even better!!

Fint lille hotel, som bestemt ikke virker for “turistet” - det er en fin placering i forhold til at tage på udflugter - bl.a. anbefales at tage ind til Split og se middelalderbyen - der er mulighed for at købe 5 billetter i en og samme billet, så der er adgang til kirketårn, kirke, museum m.v. Rigtig lækker morgenmadsbuffet, som bestemt kan anbefales. På grund af hotellets begrænsede størrelse, så foregår det heldigvis ikke, som om man går rundt i en “myretue” af mennesker ved buffeten - der er stille og roligt. Vi fik 3 retters aftensmad en enkelt gang - det var ikke særlig spændende - nærmere ret kedelig mad og egentlig ikke pengene værd. Vil bestemt anbefale hotellet inkl. morgenmadsbuffet’en og kommer gerne igen :)

Free parking Pebble beach is over the road from front of hotel - very pleasant to swim in the sea, water shoes would be advised. Ett mycket trevligt och familjärt litet hotell vid kanten av Adriatiska havet. Väldigt vänlig personal som var mycket serviceminded. Fin frukost, rent och fräscht överallt. Sköna sängar. Svårt att tänka sig ett bättre läge! Otrolig utsikt, fint poolområde. Hit återvänder vi gärna!

This hotel is in a great location for a vacation, short stays and airport stopovers as it’s only 15 minutes drive away. Plenty of UBERs in the neighbourhood too. Staff are very friendly and speak good English. Hotel is located in front of the promenade and it’s an easy walk to restaurants.
