Staff was great. Super friendly and helpful - all around amazing staff. Amenities were great (gym, pool, breakfast, ice machine, etc). Close to everything you need. Rooms were clean but not to the finest detail, but that's not a big deal. Did not notice any bugs whatsoever.

Nice modern rooms. Very clean and well supplied. Easy access to the I-26 and restaurants. Breakfast was very solid and excellent lounge area/bar with beers on tap. Pleasant staff.

Upon check-in, I was greeted with respect; the front desk clerk was professional, proficient, and friendly. The breakfast food items were plentiful; the only thing I would change is preparing quick grits and not instant. The breakfast attendants were friendly; They cleaned and restocked the area continuously. Although the pool was small, it and the area was nice the first day; a man checked the 'levels', towels were available, and area/ bathroom was clean. The second day, the pool occupancy was beyond max; there appeared to be a birthday party and there were 12 kids all appeared under the age of 10, most could NOT swim, had NO pfd's, NO swim diapers, and had no adult supervision 90% of the time. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk who shrugged, said nothing, did nothing. We ended our swim early that day. The third day, our last day, after observing the pool: water cloudy, no towels, bathroom was very dirty, we did NOT swim. Our room appeared cleaned, well stocked with toiletries, but no linen for the sofa bed. After receiving the pkg of linen, pulling out the trumble bed and noticing the filth on top and underneath the mattress, opted to just use the couch part which after rearranging the pillows becomes a bed. All beds used were very comfortable. Enjoyed the layout of the suite, and adjustable temperature of the room. Next to Cracker Barrell and close to other restaurants and stores.

The hotel was very clean and the staff members were professional and kind. The gym was spotless and had a variety of equipment. There are restaurants nearby making it very convenient. We will definitely stay again.

The stay at SpringHill Suites was very enjoyable. The staff was nice and the rooms were modernized and cleaned. The bar was the icing on the cake with a friendly bartender that took care of us. The breakfast bar could've been a little more comprehensive. However, it was adequate enough.

I was greet by very nice reguster clerk,however, when was about the pool it was our of service. Disappointed because my grands expected to play for the evening. The clerk was very concern so she explained to my 10 year old grand. Very thoughtful. The bed pillows was not the Marriott specfic pillows at all. Not so good sleep compared to my usual stays. Concerning cover on the bathroom sprinkler, I believe it is. And lastly, on way to breakfast we saw signs in elevator saying sorry but breakfast ends at 8am. I would suggest some other means because had we decided to wait few minutes later we would have missed what I expected and planned for. Breakfast I understand is not guarantee for everything. But, i would have expected not to be out of everything. The attendant stated they did not have any fruits,chocolate milk, or hot grits.. And the bacon was not sure what it was turkey or artificial.

I would highly recommend this property. I found it to be very clean. The staff was amazing. The pool was heated which was very nice after a long drive. It was located close to the expressway, so it was easy to get back on the road. I will stay there again!

The hotel was clean at the front desk and common area. Once in the elevator, that's when uncleanness appeared. The halls to the rooms were littered with popcorn, paper and other debris. The rooms were dusty. For a newer hotel, this was really unacceptable! Breakfast area was not cleaned and replenished enough.

People who worked there were nice and very sweet! Hotel its self was pretty sad. Wallpaper peeling from the walls. Sticky spots in the carpet. Had to ensure my kids had shoes on the entire time inside the room. Musty smell inside room. It appears nice but when you start really looking around it’s pretty gross. Probably better than most in the area though.

When I was first given keys to the room soon as I open the door it was a roach on the bed ..They changed my room and it was clean except the holes. In the sheets ..I itched the whole time I was there then someone banged on the door yelling extermination..I never in my life seen nothing like that ..So no my stay wasn’t good

The A/C-Heat did not work like it should. It was about 80 degrees in the room and when we turned it on cool, it just kept running (auto temp did not work) so then it was to cold, and there was no way to change where the vent blowed, so it was right at the bed!!! There was a light outside the room that the blinds did not block, so it looked like it was about 7am all night.

Room needed upkeep. Shower handle loose, almost falling off making it difficult to open. Entry door security latch broken. Sofa had worn spots and dirty. Tv remote missing battery cover. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here multiple times and will in the future. However, this time around 2 a.m., for about 20 minutes, I thought my room was under a herd of elephants. The knocking and loud bumps went on for quite some time. Fortunately, I turned the volume up on my noise app and was able to ignore it for the most part. It started up about an hour later but did not last as long.

For the price I expected a lot more. The AC was leaking and the carpet was wet. No sheets on the 5th sleeper. Paper thin walls, dog barking next door. Small bathroom for a suite. Just… wow.

The hotel was very clean and seemed pretty new. The only negative thing I would say is that the door to the bathroom is opaque. When someone is in the bathroom with the light on and you are trying to sleep it lights up the whole room. A solid wood door would have been better. Otherwise I would definitely stay again.

Internet not working on first floor. No effort to correct the issue. Didn’t offer to move to a floor where internet is working. Not up to Marriott standards. Staff was rude and incompetent

When we arrived, we were given a king room. When we went in the room, someone else’s belongings were already in the room. It is completely inappropriate to be given a key to someone else’s room! When we went back to the front desk, they apologized and seemed surprised that the room was occupied. They then told us they didn’t have any more king rooms available. We were given a double queen room and offered a free drink at the bar or item from the marketplace to make up for their inability to meet our reservation for a King room. There were several baseball teams staying in the hotel for a tournament. Very cool to see all of the 8 year olds in their uniforms! What wasn’t cool were the many 8 year olds playing hide and seek tag without any adult supervision. They were using the elevators, stairways, and hallways as a playground - running and yelling from the time we checked in at 9:30 pm until after 11:00. I understand kids being kids especially after a long day on the ball field. My kids played travel ball as well. But a hotel is not an appropriate place for kids to be playing unsupervised. So unsafe!

The staff were all extremely friendly and Amanda went above and beyond during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, very clean, well stocked, smelled cleaned, and bar in lobby 🙂

The worst!! Received an email from the front desk stating that I need to have a credit card on file even though I booked directly through Expedia. I contacted Expedia they reached out to the property and said it was an error and to disregard it. Checked into the room, went to pull the sheets back on the bed a sock fell out, sheets looked like someone was already was in the bed, the handle on the shower was broken and the desk chair was broken. Called down to the front desk to have my room changed. Upon checking out, my credit card was charged and it’s been a hassle to get my money back since I checked out on September 16. I went back to the front desk when I noticed the charge and the woman told me that it was just a pending charge that it would fall off, that charge did not fall off it went through as a transaction and I’ve been trying to get my money back ever since. You call the front desk no one knows how to do anything, the managers are ALWAYS in “meetings,” they can’t provide you with any information then they said that the refund has been issued and that you “should” have your money back on September 30, still no money and it’s been a chasing game ever since. DO NOT STAY HERE FULL WARNING!! Stealing someone’s money then playing the chasing game to get it back.

Called down to the front desk to have my room changed. Upon checking out, my credit card was charged and it’s been a hassle to get my money back since I checked out on September 16. I went back to the front desk when I noticed the charge and the woman told me that it was just a pending charge that it would fall off, that charge did not fall off it went through as a transaction and I’ve been trying to get my money back ever since. You call the front desk no one knows how to do anything, the managers are ALWAYS in “meetings,” they can’t provide you with any information then they said that the refund has been issued and that you “should” have your money back on September 30, still no money and it’s been a chasing game ever since. DO NOT STAY HERE FULL WARNING!! Stealing someone’s money then playing the chasing game to get it back.

Upon check-in, I was greeted with respect; the front desk clerk was professional, proficient, and friendly. The breakfast food items were plentiful; the only thing I would change is preparing quick grits and not instant. The breakfast attendants were friendly; They cleaned and restocked the area continuously. Although the pool was small, it and the area was nice the first day; a man checked the 'levels', towels were available, and area/ bathroom was clean. The second day, the pool occupancy was beyond max; there appeared to be a birthday party and there were 12 kids all appeared under the age of 10, most could NOT swim, had NO pfd's, NO swim diapers, and had no adult supervision 90% of the time. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk who shrugged, said nothing, did nothing. We ended our swim early that day. The third day, our last day, after observing the pool: water cloudy, no towels, bathroom was very dirty, we did NOT swim. Our room appeared cleaned, well stocked with toiletries, but no linen for the sofa bed. After receiving the pkg of linen, pulling out the trumble bed and noticing the filth on top and underneath the mattress, opted to just use the couch part which after rearranging the pillows becomes a bed. All beds used were very comfortable. Enjoyed the layout of the suite, and adjustable temperature of the room. Next to Cracker Barrell and close to other restaurants and stores.

I can’t remember her name but the lady at the front desk is always helpful as I visit Orangeburg a lot and always stay here. Excellent hotel and staff!

The receptionist did a great job upon arrival. Despite being short staffed, she not only checked me in but others as well in a timely manner. I will definitely vistit again when Im in the area.

Nice modern rooms. Very clean and well supplied. Easy access to the I-26 and restaurants. Breakfast was very solid and excellent lounge area/bar with beers on tap. Pleasant staff.

The hotel person told us wecould not get breakfast because the person who does breakfast got in an accident on their way to work- a lame excuse. It appeared that they housed social service clients. Not good. Ineed a $25 to pay for our breakfast, since it was included in the price.

Bar was not open. "no bartender". Ice machine was broken. Went out to breakfast, no plates were laid out. Overall, the whole experience was not as it was. We have been staying for many years and it's reflecting the wear and tear.

If you book with third party expect the worse room. Place in room across from breakfast prep area. At 5 am workers were loud awaking us. The breakfast buffet was not kept stocked and limited options.

This property was beautiful and clean! The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a lot to choose from. The room was beautiful also. A nice layout and everything looked new and super clean. Just a wonderful experience overall, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I was greet by very nice reguster clerk,however, when was about the pool it was our of service. Disappointed because my grands expected to play for the evening. The clerk was very concern so she explained to my 10 year old grand. Very thoughtful. The bed pillows was not the Marriott specfic pillows at all. Not so good sleep compared to my usual stays. Concerning cover on the bathroom sprinkler, I believe it is. And lastly, on way to breakfast we saw signs in elevator saying sorry but breakfast ends at 8am. I would suggest some other means because had we decided to wait few minutes later we would have missed what I expected and planned for. Breakfast I understand is not guarantee for everything. But, i would have expected not to be out of everything. The attendant stated they did not have any fruits,chocolate milk, or hot grits.. And the bacon was not sure what it was turkey or artificial.

Rooms were great, very clean. Comfortable beds. Amanda was who checked us in and she was excellent. She was very polite and easy to deal with. Bar opens at 5:30 and bartender was excellent and super nice. I for heated pool was great and very clean.

Checked in and left to finish my son college arrival. Got back later that evening and all the television channels said “unavailable”. When I contacted the funny desk the young lady made me aware that she was new and that the cable had been out since the day prior, she would contact management and give me a call back. No return call and nobody told me this upon check in because I would have went to another hotel. I tried to login to Netflix and again that app didn’t work. So my husband and I were just sitting in a room with no television and no alternate accommodations offered. I made a complaint with corporate and I will never stay there again. I’ve stayed there plenty of times in the last 4years and never had a problem. This time my stay was trash. Throw the entire management and staff away.

The hotel cosmetically was very nice, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable very hard. My daughter and I were traveling with 4 children and requested with adjourning rooms or on the same floor. Reservations and payment was under my name some how it changed to two separate reservations. When we arrived we were tired and just wanted our rooms. After we checked in we notice we were on two different floors and brought it to the front desk attention and explained why we need to be in the same floor. She said she had nothing so my daughter asked for the MOD. The bartender tried to help she contacted the MOD and gave me the phone. Very brief conversation she started with “hey” not hello how can I help you. While waiting for her arrival we again asked the front desk person is there anything on the two floors she assigned us, she turned her head looked up at the ceiling stuck her younger out very immature, rolling her eyes popping her head back and forth like she was performing on a tick toc video. Finally the MOD arrives addressed our easy apologized. The rest of the stay was manageable the children enjoyed the pool because of storms off and on wasn’t able to enjoy the water park or really venture out since it was a short visit. Before the night was over I went to the front desk to check on the young lady and to apologize for my reaction for immaturity. I don’t think I’ll stay at that hotel again really reconsidering my over all stays at Marriott hotel chains.
