My wife and I found Bahia Bay Resort simply by chance, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. We enjoyed a week there – the accommodations were wonderful. Our stay was so peaceful and beautiful, and adventure was always at the ready. We swam in the pool and the ocean, and we also kayaked along the shore several times. The sunsets from the dock were amazing, and fishing was a ball. Loved the orchid garden, and the iguanas and dolphins were entertaining. Thanks, Michael and team, for being such great hosts. We’d go back in a minute.

The property was beautiful. Rooms were nice, quiet and roomy. Hot tub was nice but pool was dirty. Seemed the pump was not running during our time here. The “staff” was non existent. We received zero communication about what to do on arrival. When we arrived at check-in time, there was a locked gate. The sign at the gate said to call X number. We called more than 5 times with no answer and no return phone call. We only got onto the property bc someone was leaving. Once on the property, we found the cleaner (who was not an employee). She called the owner who then left to meet us. There are no “employees” at this location. It seems to be privately owned and only us and two other couples were occupying rooms during our stay. The owner was generally unapologetic about not being there in time for our check in nor answering our calls. Ultimately a nice property, but zero communication from property owner and not worth the hassle. Would t stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised as I booked last minute. The price was reasonable. It was very quiet and clean with a comfortable bed. The grounds were quite lovely with raked sand, palm trees, and an older but clean pool and hot tub.

Michael was a wonderful host. He took the time to show us around the amazing property. He greeted us within the 4 to 8pm time slot and graciously explained the rules of the property. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping did an amazing job taking care of our room. We swam in the ocean daily and utilized the amazing pool and hottub. The rooms come with a fridge but not a microwave, fyi. I love this place. I dont want to talk it up to much because it was a slice of heaven and I would hate to see it booked to capacity. It was like we had the resort to ourselves. I cannot wait to visit again. I miss it already.

We had a great stay at Bahia Bay Resort. The room was spacious, the A/C worked perfectly, the pool area was fantastic and the dock provided an amazing view of the sunset. If you want to walk to restaurants, bars, or shopping, there might be other options, but if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place on the water, Bahia Bay Resort is top notch and very hard to beat.

It was a little confusing at first because we happened to arrive when the gate was open and missed the sign with check in instructions but once we figured out there wasn’t a check in desk and we needed to call. I couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower but when I let the management know, he explained it was installed backwards and the hot was actually the cold. The grounds were lovely and the location was convenient. We walked out onto the dock to see the sunset and could see dolphins in the e water. The management was responsive by phone and text. We had a lovely stay.

The rooms come with a fridge but not a microwave, fyi. I love this place. I dont want to talk it up to much because it was a slice of heaven and I would hate to see it booked to capacity. It was like we had the resort to ourselves. I cannot wait to visit again. I miss it already.

Michael was a wonderful host. He took the time to show us around the amazing property. He greeted us within the 4 to 8pm time slot and graciously explained the rules of the property. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping did an amazing job taking care of our room. We swam in the ocean daily and utilized the amazing pool and hottub. The resort Is over a route, the door was closed and there was nobody there, I had to make a phone call from the car to find somebody (an international call because my phone Is from another country).

Avoid this property. Hotel has a tiny 4 hour window to check in (4-8 pm). We flew into Miami and our plane was delayed on both ends of the flight. I tried to contact Bahia Bay using Expedia and by phone to see if we could arrive at 10 pm, but they didn’t answer and never responded. Just took our money. We obviously had no control as our flight was scheduled to arrive at 6 pm and didn’t arrive until 8:30. Very disappointed that Bahia refused to even respond to us, we had to Book an alternate hotel. Expedia tried to help us get a refund (the room would have sat unbooked either way so they didn’t lose money), but they refused. $270 for a night I couldn’t use due to a strange and small check window and poor service.

This property is located near the sea, with a private beach, a dock, a pool and a hot tub. Very secure with a metal fence closing the entrance of the resort. Feels like a resort in an island in the south. Plenty of chairs to lie down. This property is often used for weddings and corporate events. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. A bit pricey but good value.

We had a great stay at Bahia Bay Resort. The room was spacious, the A/C worked perfectly, the pool area was fantastic and the dock provided an amazing view of the sunset. If you want to walk to restaurants, bars, or shopping, there might be other options, but if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place on the water, Bahia Bay Resort is top notch and very hard to beat.

The property is very secure. We used a clicker to open the gate. The room was larger than expected and even had a loft with another bed. Very large closet to hang clothing and a useful vanity area. The shower was clean. The property had a nice size pool and a very hot hot-tub. There was an assortment of pool floats available to use. The area near the pool was strung with lights and gave a very relaxing vibe. There are chairs by the shore so you can enjoy your evening. We were impressed with the whole set up and would definitely consider staying here again. It's clean, no trash, just lizards running around. You have space to move around and I was able to get some business done. In conclusion, I would have no problem staying at Bahia Bay again. It's a great value and very comfortable.

It is a beautiful spot. Enjoyed my stay. Three things we noted. First the toilet next to the office had no way to dry hands. Second, the room had no way to block out light during sleep. Best sleep happens in darkness. Third, the outside shower did not function so the only way to remove salt and sand after a swim is to jump in the pool or track sand into our room.
