The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the staff experience. My husband and I walked in and out several times during our stay, and although we smiled and tried to be friendly, we were consistently ignored. We were also surprised by the $38 per day parking fee, though we could somewhat understand the reasoning behind it. The rooms themselves were beautiful, but it was disappointing that the balcony light remained on all night for “security reasons.” We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning, and the food was amazing. However, our waiter seemed very uninterested in interacting with us. We tried to engage in conversation, but he barely responded and only gave uncomfortable smiles, which made the experience awkward. I’m someone who values good customer service and believes in giving the same energy and kindness I receive. In a hotel of this caliber, I truly expected much more in that regard.
