We love the ambience of this hotel. It's very spacious and beds are comfortable. The place is very unique it has a little pantry . The patio and the lounge area is very inviting.

I was in town for a trail race that started a few blocks from the hotel. At check in, the front desk manager was kind enough to rearrange my room so I could stay on the ground floor (stairs and post-running legs are a bad combo). She was incredibly helpful and I was so grateful for that! The room was cool, had a lot of character and clean. While they don’t have fridge or coffee in-room, the “guest pantry” just behind the front desk had a fridge and all the essentials for making coffee/tea. They even had oat milk which I super appreciated as a non-dairy person. The neighborhood is a bit noisy of course - the cost of being so convenient to bars & restaurants - so do bring earplugs, they work!

We stayed at The Hotel Vendome for two nights—12/31 and 1/1/2025—and had another wonderful experience. This was our second visit, and both stays have been great. I absolutely love the history of this charming hotel. During this visit, we learned about its resident ghost, Abby, who is said to occupy room 16. The little bar inside the hotel is adorable, and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio with drinks before taking a quick 3-minute walk to Whiskey River Tavern for live music. Just before midnight, we strolled a few more minutes to watch the boot drop and fireworks—such a fun way to ring in the New Year! The rooms blend modern touches with the building’s original charm. Ours featured a beautiful clawfoot tub, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. On our last night, something eerie happened. Around 4 AM, my husband and I woke up to what sounded like a woman’s voice right outside our door. The hotel is so quiet that you can usually hear the old wood floors creak when someone walks, but we didn’t hear any footsteps—only the voice. Since Abby’s room was just on the other side of the stairwell, I couldn’t help but feel spooked! Being a bit of a wimp when it comes to ghosts, it took me until 6 AM to fall back asleep. Overall, we had a fantastic time at The Hotel Vendome and would definitely recommend it. The staff was so friendly, and we loved hearing Abby’s story during check-in. It’s a unique and memorable place to stay!

This property is an historic, boutique hotel with a lot of charm and character. It is very close to Whiskey Row and the Square but far enough away from the craziness. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The parking in the rear of the building was a nice bonus due to shortage of on street parking at times. In the future, I would request a 2nd floor room due to the creakiness of the floors above when on the ground level.

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk was in contact with us prior to arrival via text to help us if we had to check in late. There was no room service during our stay due to Covid, but was no issue. Anything we needed was in the lobby for us. Bags of ice were available at the bar. We were upgraded to a suite which gave us extra space, a couch, and an additional tv, as well as a dinning table and mini fridge . Beds were very comfortable and warm! Lots of closet space as well as a dresser. Very easy walk to whiskey row, restaurants and shops. Prime location but also away from the noise at night, on the other side of the court house from all the action. Lovely stay, friendly staff. Will stay again when in Prescott.

Great location to walk to restaurants and Courthouse park events and Whiskey Row. Historic building needs some exterior paint but the room was perfect. Soft sheets, sparkling new bathroom. Great coffee in the morning. Lounge on the porch or balcony. We love this hotel.

We parked in front of the hotel across the street which was perfect for us. Employees were informative and polite. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. The best part was being able to walk around the area for shipping, and dining. Prescott is gorgeous this time of year with the changing of the leaves, and the weather was perfect ! I would highly suggest the historic, quaint Vendome!!

Unique historic property. Very small room, could have used a good dusting (top of wood headboard, edges of woodwork in walls) otherwise clean, but kind of dark and depressing. Very clean, large bathroom. Ok stay for 1 night. Nice verandah and nice use of historic/antique pieces made into furniture.

I would've given 5 starts but for one reason. As soon as you get into the Hotel it smells bad. I don't know what it is. Bad smell. It may be coming from the old carpet at the hall. Another thing that bothered me was at night there was this smell of marijuana coming into my room. I did not appreciate that at all.

Quick overnight stay for two. Overall a decent stay. Little to no water pressure in the shower and it dripped all night. Wash cloths were dingy. Bed was much firmer than what we are accustomed to when staying at other hotels or VRBO locations.

This quaint little hotel was like something out of the Old Western movies. It was a walk back into the past. My daughter and I loved the event. Was 1-block to the Town Square and many eateries. This was my first trip back to Prescott in 20-years. Loved the preservation of the old buildings around the Square and the sweet little hotel. Thanks so much for a grand experience. The staff was great as well as the parking. Very clean and neat!

Safe parking, nice location, easy to walk to downtown. Fun historical building. No hot water. The bed was so hard we both had sore hips and shoulders. Difficult to sleep as it was cold and only a tiny space heater and thin extra blanket. Felt "short sheeted", couldn't pull the bedding up around the shoulders. Despite a king size bed your feet hung off if you positioned to have covers on your shoulders. The pillows were an inch thick and severely hard. Will not return.

This hotel has charm for sure! If you enjoy unique hotels and history, then you'll probably appreciate this hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and town square. Staff was welcoming and kind! However, my husband and I ended up very uncomfortable all night and didnt get much sleep. There are a few things that i think can realistically be improved upon , even with the limitations thag an old building poses. The ac is positioned maybe about 6 inches from the side of the bed. The person sleeping there would get blasted with cold air in the face. The ac units are window mounted...either the ac should be moved or the bed. In the middle of the night I woke up sweating head to toe because the ac stopped blowing cold air. It seems it froze over. The bed sheets were SO scratchy and didnt breathe well! Ugh! The bed was decent...not the worst mattress I've slept on. I wanted to love this place because it really is very cute...but I wont return due to how uncomfortable we were.

This is a beautiful, QUAINT hotel right in the heart of Prescott. When it's not 100°, easy walking to many night spots, restaurants and shopping well as historic spots. Two things to note: The Wifi apparently only serves 2 guests, so if you need it, bring a hot spot (which might not work because cell service is notoriously spotty all through the Prescott area. ) Also, getting the ac to come on and stay on to keep the temperature where you want it requires a little fiddling with the controls. ...Special bonus thought if you're on the ground floor... use your blinds because there are active walkways just outside the windows! Loved the clawfoot tub enough to overlook the walls that need repair and the fraying carpets near the window. Overall, I have a sweet spot for places filled with history and books... and aromas that remind me of my grandmother's home.

Very neat historic little hotel. The rooms are quite small, but were cutely decorated and felt well maintained for how old the building is. The employees were wonderful and they ensured I had access to overnight check in even though the front desk is not attended overnight. The area is lovely, quiet and very walkable. Only minor drawbacks were the rooms didn't feel as sound proof as you'd get in new concrete hotels (to be expected) and the bed was VERY firm.

Great history hotel in the heart of downtown Prescott, walkable.The room lacked placement for anything; no luggage rack, benches, hooks, or hangers... Really dislike my stuff on the floor.
Great history hotel in the heart of downtown Prescott, walkable.The room lacked placement for anything; no luggage rack, benches, hooks, or hangers... Really dislike my stuff on the floor.

It all depends on what you’re looking for…if you want a charming hotel that has retained the historic features from the original build, I absolutely love it. Makes me want to go back in time. Having an actual key to open the room door…what?! That said, there aren’t modern conveniences. No room fridge, they attempted a guest area for coffee and water but it’s not exactly ideal or close to typical accommodations. The hotel looks like it needs some TLC, but I really appreciated that I felt like I was staying in a truly historic hotel and the bed was comfy! They also let me check in 3 hours early. Given the area and other considerations I would still stay here again.

I was in town for a trail race that started a few blocks from the hotel. At check in, the front desk manager was kind enough to rearrange my room so I could stay on the ground floor (stairs and post-running legs are a bad combo). She was incredibly helpful and I was so grateful for that! The room was cool, had a lot of character and clean. While they don’t have fridge or coffee in-room, the “guest pantry” just behind the front desk had a fridge and all the essentials for making coffee/tea. They even had oat milk which I super appreciated as a non-dairy person. The neighborhood is a bit noisy of course - the cost of being so convenient to bars & restaurants - so do bring earplugs, they work!

Good location to local dining and entertainment. The front desk closed early - 7 pm instead of 9 pm. When we arrived the key was left in our room, the front desk person was leaving and barely took the time to let us know where to park. The parking is located in the back of the hotel with no lighting and all dirt (not manicured). Luckily, we found parking on the street. The door to our room had 3 locks - which made us think the location may not be safe. The room door had a large crack in it. The bathtub shower had a chunk of wood holding up the shower head. Sometimes old properties are quaint and sometimes old properties are just old (like this one).

We arrived after the front office closed but they were proactive about it so was not an issue. Room very clean. As a mom traveling w her teenage daughter I felt safe. Great location near Whiskey Row.

A fantastic stay at a charming historic hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend!

A WONDERFUL Hotel. GREAT LOCATION, right where you want to be. The lady at the check in desk (Saina is her name), such a crazy GREAT and friendly person!!! Not typical for these days.....She was so great, gave us a ton of info about town, and she was constantly asking what the hotel could do to make our stay great

It was a nice old hotel . I believe it was the first hotel in Prescott. It had a really nice tub and the bed was comfortable. It was also close to whiskey row , shops and downtown area . It was walkable !

We loved Hotel Vendome! We were visiting the Prescott Bluegrass Festival and decided to stay close by and enjoy the evening on the green....it was perfectly located, super clean and so historical..We enjoyed reading up on it's history (built in 1917), its visitors over the last 100 years, plus how wonderfully it has been restored and preserved. We could easily walk from dinner and the festival.. Also, my husband has a bad back and I was concerned the bed would be too soft, but super comfortable! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I have stayed all over Prescott, including at Hotel St. Michael and the Hassayampa - and Hotel Vendome is our new absolute favorite! It’s 1/2 away from Whiskey Row, bigger rooms and bathrooms than the other two, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly, and it’s in a much quieter neighborhood - that 1/2 block makes a big and very welcome difference. Will definitely stay again!

We parked in front of the hotel across the street which was perfect for us. Employees were informative and polite. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. The best part was being able to walk around the area for shipping, and dining. Prescott is gorgeous this time of year with the changing of the leaves, and the weather was perfect ! I would highly suggest the historic, quaint Vendome!!

I love this hotel. It is historic and so much a cool spot. Rooms are impeccable and I stay here everyone in Prescott. The gastropub next door is tasty and also has so much charm like this hotel.

Very poor establishment, Local TV channels where not working. the Night Stand Lights were not working, No front Desk person after 6PM. No Breakfast was served. I purchased 2 cans of red wine for $ 18.00 terrible wine. Please don't served that wine. I can not recommend Vendome Hotel. DA

This quaint little hotel was like something out of the Old Western movies. It was a walk back into the past. My daughter and I loved the event. Was 1-block to the Town Square and many eateries. This was my first trip back to Prescott in 20-years. Loved the preservation of the old buildings around the Square and the sweet little hotel. Thanks so much for a grand experience. The staff was great as well as the parking. Very clean and neat!

Lovely old historic inn. Perfect location. I really appreciated the claw foot tub for a soak and the King bed was clean and comfy. I will absolutely be back next time I am in Prescott. Thank You for the great hospitality!
