WOW . What a truly memorable experience for my twin sister and me. Our host team Tash, Bridie, Tori and Rach were incredible. Their love, commitment and passion for the animals and their futures was truly moving to listen to. The information talks about the animals was amazing from both the team and the keepers during our behind the scenes encounters late at night and early the next morning. Definitely add this to your MUST DO list !!! Laying in bed listening to the animal noises during the night is etched in our minds and hearts. The view from our tent was spectacular ! Great accommodation food and service. M & M

I booked this for a birthday, thought I would do something different rather than just a night out in a hotel and dinner, this was an Amazing all inclusive experience, really friendly staff, private tours of the animals, would def recommend!!

Amazing experience and worth every penny. Hosts were incredible and we were very lucky to see animals on display throughout our stay. Encounter with the giraffes was exceptional! View of the harbour and opera house was spectacular. Well catered for. We had the best time!

This was one of the best experiences of my life!!! I took my 14 year old son for some one on one time and to share these memories with him is priceless! Hearing the animals in the night, the behind the scenes animal encounters, the meals, the knowledge shared from the keepers…. Being in the zoo when it’s closed to the public. And the list could go on and on. I can’t recommend this more!!!! You will LoVE it!

We were rained out from the Roar & Snore but the staff upgraded us to stay at the Wilderness Retreat. Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

The whole experience right from check in was top notch. We learnt so much about the animals we saw and the night time visit lets you see them more active than during the day. We had the opportunity to feed the giraffe breakfast which was very exciting. The accomodation was comfortable clean, and perfect for the glamping experience. We were right near the toilets which didnt bother us at all and was handy. The view of sydney from the tent area and viewing platform is 2nd to none. Sunset while enjoying drinks and nibbles was a highlight. Dinner was african inspired, and was fresh plentiful and delicious.. kids were catered for as well. We visited during pride month so were enteretained at dinner further with the drag show which happened to be on that night, although a little heads up about the colourful language used would have been nice since young children were there, but it was fun aside from that. This brings me to the guides, i feel guides can make or break an experience and ours totally topped off this amazing night. Fun enthusiastic and so knowledgeable about all we saw., so very helpful and accomodating. Their enthusiasm carried through to our early start the next morning , as you are up early to see the sunrise and more animal adventure s first thing.. Sleeping near the animals and feeding the giraffes. I was very wary walking around some of the footpaths especially after dark, as some were very uneven with several large potholes.

We stayed on a very cold night with heavy rain. Tent was cold but the supplied electric blanket helped. The food was good but the experience of the tour and "suprise" encounters were incredible. Highly recommended.

To be able to 'glamp' overnight at Taronga Park Zoo listening to the lions, tigers and chimps while admiring the city skyline is brilliant. Add the copious amounts of good food (entre's, dinner, breakfast), knowledgeable and genuinely friendly guides, rich collection of exotic animals set in a lush, tropical harbourside zoo setting and this is an experience you won't forget in a hurry.
To be able to 'glamp' overnight at Taronga Park Zoo listening to the lions, tigers and chimps while admiring the city skyline is brilliant. This was an absolute amazing and unique experience. There was not a minute spared, we always had something to do, the food was also very good and we loved that we woke up to lions roaring in the morning :)

The whole experience was both amazing and educational- the staff who looked after our group of 40 were consummate professionals who clearly loved and were passionate about their zoo and the animals within. They were kind, engaging and attentive. This by far and away the best night/day activity I have ever had in Sydney. I highly recommend it to both Sydney side ers and visitors from elsewhere as a must stay

WOW . What a truly memorable experience for my twin sister and me. Our host team Tash, Bridie, Tori and Rach were incredible. Their love, commitment and passion for the animals and their futures was truly moving to listen to. The information talks about the animals was amazing from both the team and the keepers during our behind the scenes encounters late at night and early the next morning. Amazing experience and worth every penny. Hosts were incredible and we were very lucky to see animals on display throughout our stay. Encounter with the giraffes was exceptional! View of the harbour and opera house was spectacular. Well catered for. We had the best time!

To be able to 'glamp' overnight at Taronga Park Zoo listening to the lions, tigers and chimps while admiring the city skyline is brilliant. Add the copious amounts of good food (entre's, dinner, breakfast), knowledgeable and genuinely friendly guides, rich collection of exotic animals set in a lush, tropical harbourside zoo setting and this is an experience you won't forget in a hurry.
To be able to 'glamp' overnight at Taronga Park Zoo listening to the lions, tigers and chimps while admiring the city skyline is brilliant. Add the copious amounts of good food (entre's, dinner, breakfast), knowledgeable and genuinely friendly guides, rich collection of exotic animals set in a lush, tropical harbourside zoo setting and this is an experience you won't forget in a hurry.

The whole experience right from check in was top notch. We learnt so much about the animals we saw and the night time visit lets you see them more active than during the day. We had the opportunity to feed the giraffe breakfast which was very exciting. The accomodation was comfortable clean, and perfect for the glamping experience. We were right near the toilets which didnt bother us at all and was handy. The view of sydney from the tent area and viewing platform is 2nd to none. Sunset while enjoying drinks and nibbles was a highlight. Dinner was african inspired, and was fresh plentiful and delicious.. kids were catered for as well. We visited during pride month so were enteretained at dinner further with the drag show which happened to be on that night, although a little heads up about the colourful language used would have been nice since young children were there, but it was fun aside from that. This brings me to the guides, i feel guides can make or break an experience and ours totally topped off this amazing night. Fun enthusiastic and so knowledgeable about all we saw., so very helpful and accomodating. Their enthusiasm carried through to our early start the next morning , as you are up early to see the sunrise and more animal adventure s first thing.. Roar and snore had been on my bucket list to do for years, its not cheap but worth every cent and all money goes to the conservation of the animals which is great to know.

It was an amazing experience. The breakfast and canapés were good but the dinner was not as good maybe could have had something a little different as not everyone eats that type of food . Bit apart from that everything and everyone was amazing. Would do it again and would definitely recommend it to others

This was an absolute amazing and unique experience. There was not a minute spared, we always had something to do, the food was also very good and we loved that we woke up to lions roaring in the morning :)

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. Comfy beds and a clean and modern amenities building. Lovely dinner and breakfast. The behind the scenes animal encounters were something special.

Loved the experience of seeing the animals after dark and before the park opened. Wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable staff. Food and drinks were superb as well. Only caveat was some of the bedding in the tent had a bit of a wet dog smell but we made out fine for the one night.

We had a terrific time even though it hailed just before our tour. Luckily it stopped and we were still able to see plenty of animals. The staff are passionate about the animals and the talks are very entertaining and interesting. It rained at the end of the tour but the tents were dry and the amenities are not far away. We heard the lions roar during the night! We woke up to the birds singing and the stunning harbour view. I could not fault it and it feels good knowing that some of the money goes to animal conservation.

A unique way to experience the zoo. Harbour views while glamping, excellent amenities block with toiletries. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We loved it so much the first time, that we took our 3 adult kids this time. Wonderful.
