Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park

Nice place and great staff. Great work out facilities.

No parking had to circle parking lot waiting for someone to leave. No coffee or tea in lobby. I’ve never been at a Hilton without those simple things

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are super spacious and very comfortable beds. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and very friendly staff. The only thing was that I was surprised there was no pool. Weird for a FL hotel, but otherwise, it was excellent!

The stay is always very pleasant. The parking is atrocious but I see a parking garage is being built.

There is nooooo pool… according to staff they went with the parking garage instead 🙄

Pay to park was unreasonable.

Consider having a swimming pool

Very new feeling and spotlessly clean. Nice lobby and bar area. Walking to few good restaurants and shopping nearby.

While getting around was a lil cumbersome and the parking was kinda terrible. Everything and anything is near by, it’s hard to find somewhere to park but a lot of fun once you do.

Everything about this hotel was great. The stay,cleanliness,location - all first class.

When we checked into our room, there was a note on the bathroom mirror, stating that service would only be every other day. And this is what the service would be: making the bed, replacing the towels, throwing out the garbage and replacing any toiletries ,tissues and stuff like that. I used the word service because nowhere on that list was anything to be cleaned not the bathroom, not vacuuming the floor mopping the tiles not cleaning off any surface than might have a ring of a water bottle. After leaving my shower, I stepped with my clean foot on the floor of the bathroom then put it on the towel that was on the floor and it left a BLACK footprint on the towel. I do not blame your staff for this because it’s obvious that this is all that was expected of them. Everyone on the staff was friendly and very accommodating. And the parking was free.

Extra clean. Smells fresh. Sheets and bedding clean and comfy. Nice and spacious. Modern room. Efficient service.

Large room and very clean. Food at the restaurant was just average. Didn’t like that room is cleaned only every other day, this should be told upfront at the time of making the reservation.

There was mold under in the tub under the overflow! This is the Hilton, make sure you do not have mold in the tub!!

Room was not ready till 3:20 the room had a strong smell of bleach for two hours had no idea they still used bleach to clean hotel rooms

This Hotel seems like it is new or renovated. The staff is always helpful and cordial. The rooms are big enough for three or four. The only complain is that they clean the rooms every other day instead of daily.

The hotel was very nice as was the room. We stayed for 3 nights and even though it is posted in the room that housekeeping comes every other day to bring new towels and such we had no service at all. No clean towels, trash was overflowing out of every can, no coffee refilled. For the price I expect better service. I will stay elsewhere next time

There were maintenance issues in the room that were not resolved even after multiple requests.

We never had hot water in the morning. The temperature was cool to lukewarm.

Nice large room, super quiet, comfy bed, luxurious towels and toiletries, nice black-out curtains- we slept great! Courteous staff, good location close to Downtown Winter Park, FL.

Although the property is clean and fairly new, the hand sanitizer dispensers I tried using in the common areas were all empty during flu and cold season, including the one in the fitness center. Also, my room facing Hwy 17-92 had lots of traffic noise during the night.

Excellent property, clean, spacious rooms with nice finishes and updated decor. Rooms were quite large as well. Only drawback was the road is a bit busy. If that concerns you ask to be on the parking lot side of the property.

Beautiful room. Comfortable bed! Quiet!

No complimentary breakfast. Check in was good staff very friendly. It is a newer hotel, so it was in good condition. My complaint would be room was very noisy in the a.m. due to being right next to main road. There was also this very annoying noise ( have no idea what it was, or where it was, maybe in hall walls???) but every 20 minutes or so we would hear this loud tapping at 5 second intervals and fading out after 6-7 taps or knocks. Also alot of construction noise going on. My advice is to get a room on the north side of the hotel away from road. Eventually… construction will be done.

The hotel is newer and has nice amenities but the AC units don’t do a good job of cooling so it gets very uncomfortable at night. Also one of the beds squeaked.

I have always enjoyed my stay there, until my last experience with the staff. First my coffee maker made a huge mess and did not work, no one could replace. The worst was when I checked out, I realized I left my charger, I called as I drove off told the front desk, they said they will tell housekeeping. I came back in a few hours to pick up, and no charger. I asked to talk to the manager, and front desk said manager is in meetings all day! I said the housekeeping staff must have kept the charger, and she argued with me. If front desk lady would've handled better, they would still have a customer.

I will never stay at another garden inn. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the less expensive hotels of Hilton but this experience was terrible. First off I paid for a king bed room and they gave us two queens, fine no big deal, but not once did room service come clean it. The terrible breakfast buffet was 20$ a head for cold eggs and under cooked sausage and the worst part of it all is that my husband left his wedding ring in our room and the concierge said she would send it to us. Well a week Later I get a call from the local UPS in winter park and an employee of the hotel dropped the ring off and told them to deal with it. So they were calling asking for my address and banking information. If I had known such little care would be placed on one of our very personal items I would’ve asked a friend who lived locally to pick it up. It’s just crazy to me after spending so much money at a hotel for a weekend they can’t even be decent enough to mail a small important belonging or atleast tell us they can’t do it instead of getting a surprise phone call from UPS for all the information needed. It’s a shame how little companies care anymore. At least now I know this hotel sucks.

The staff was excellent!

This property advertises that it offers keyless entry but in fact, it does NOT. I booked the hotel because it is a mile away from an outpatient facility where I was scheduled to have a 7-hour surgical procedure and I wanted to be able to get from surgery to my room as quickly as possible. I set up Digital Key in order to do that and also called the hotel after I was discharged to TRIPLE-confirm that my keyless entry was ready. The front desk employee that took my call informed me that I would still need to stop at the front desk to show my ID and provide a credit card. While I was waiting in line with my nurse (again, after 7 hours of surgery) the Front Desk Manager appeared and I asked why it was necessary for me to wait since I had already provided the information required. Her explanation was that a) it was my first time using Digital Key and b) I had booked through a third-party. I did not see any advance notice for reason “a” when I originally made the booking. As for reason “b”, the front desk manager made it sound as though I had made a mistake by booking through a third-party, in this case, Expedia. I understand that post-operative recovery is not a common reason for a hotel booking. However, all I was asking for was an already available service that is prominently advertised. This experience was one of poor service and a lack of compassion on the part of both employees. I hope this review provides an opportunity for better training of those involved. Thanks.

I stay at a lot of hotels - this was a quick trip for a memorial and business meeting. 24 hours in winter park - the gentleman at the front desk upon arrival was the friendliest, professional and bright young man I was happy to also see the next day upon check out. I encounter a lot of hotel employees in my travels - he set the bar. Hope to find more like him out there!

Large room. Clean. Right at shopping complex with plenty of food options within walking distance. Perfect for our overnight stay to check out Rollins!

It is an excellent hotel, reasonable rates, great location with shopping and every type of restaurant you could want.

Right in the heart of new Winter Park. Close to theater, Cheesecake Factory, and lots of shopping along with other food choices. Highly recommend. Breakfast is overpriced and not worth it however.

there is a leak from the bathtub in 103. i checked in at 12:15 and was told the tap house serves until 1, but last call was actually 12:30 the breakfast was terrible, the coffee mug had lipstick on it. Improve the ingredients and the breakfast would be great, it wasn't due to the prep or service. have charging cords available in your store to purchase. the outlet on the desk next to tv in 103 wasn't working so i had to work on laptop in bed so i could charge overall cleanly, nice hotel with kind staff.

The hotel and our room were clean and in good repair; reception and check in/out was fine. Our complaint was the "continental breakfast," as follows: Two very old oranges were the only available whole fruit; Peeled and diced fresh fruit was in an uncovered dish with tiny insects hovering over and landing within; Barely warm grits had been standing so long that the water and butter had completely separated from the meal; Three of the four coffee mugs examined had lipstick residue. This continental breakfast buffet was a disgrace to the Hilton name. Any Motel 6 on I-95 would have been better. The second and third morning we went to McDonalds! What a shame!

I had a great stay, Check in was efficient. It was easy to find my room, the staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Everything was clean.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park in Orlando, Florida, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It’s also conveniently located for getting into downtown Orlando or visiting nearby attractions without feeling like you’re in the middle of tourist crowds. I also enjoyed the on-site amenities, including the fitness center and the restaurant, which serves a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park offers excellent value, comfort, and service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Orlando/Winter Park area!

Liked it was like new. Breakfast was good (for a price) except for the limp toast.

Friendly, clean, safe location...would prefer free breakfast buffet though.
