호스트들은 정말 친절했지만 시설의 청결 상태가 제가 살면서 가 본 그 어떤 장소보다도 낮았습니다. 헤어 드라이어에는 몇 년동안 찌든 때와 먼지들이 엉겨붙어 있었고 화장실의 세면대, 전등 스위치, 침대 위 아래 그 어느 곳에도 찌든 때가 없는 곳이 없었습니다... 호스트들은 친절하고 좋으나 숙박 시설을 관리할만한 여력이 없으신 것 같습니다. 이 곳에 1박 100유로가 넘는 가격을 지불했다는게 믿을 수가 없습니다.

We stayed at Marcos Rooms for one night while revisiting Santorini, 10 years after spending our honeymoon on the island. We arrived before the check-in time and were welcomed by the lady who we believe is the owner. She was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage and come back later. When we returned, our room was clean and ready. The room was not modern, but it was comfortable. The bathroom, which seemed to have been recently renovated, was excellent, with a great shower. There was air conditioning, but the room was also very well ventilated if we opened the windows. The location is very central, although we had a little difficulty finding the property at first. Once we knew where it was, getting around was very easy. The owner also mentioned that you can watch Santorini's famous sunset from her terrace, but we already had a reservation at a restaurant for sunset. The breakfast was simple, homemade, and more than enough to start the day. Overall, we felt that Marcos Rooms offers great value for money. It perfectly suited our purpose of revisiting Santorini and bringing back wonderful memories from such a special place.

The property location is excellent. Right in the centre of Oia and walking distance for the perfect sunset view of Oia windmills. The host is super friendly. Our flight landed in the morning and they accommodated an early check-in free of cost. It's a family-run business, so you get the feeling of being in a homestay, not a commercial hotel. And they are very flexible with breakfast timings. The only con would be that the A/C doesn't go below a set temperature, so the rooms will be hot if you are visiting in the peak summer.
