Beautiful property! Easy access to the beach and love the pool. The front office sends out a daily itinerary with fun things to do out through the day and near by local events. Our room was clean and comfortable. This was our second time visiting and will continue coming back with our two young children. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place for beach vacation, family friendly. Space distribution was very well thought, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. They offer activities on weekends which is a nice touch. The pool could be colder, at least during the summer. We didn’t realize we could ask for pool towels until the last day

The only area that needed attention is the walking deck to the beach. There was a 6 foot tall mound of sand that has caved in unto the walking path which causes you to have to climb up and through the sand to get to the beach.

Our stay here was simply amazing. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and communication was very thorough. The amenities were simply fantastic. They had a fire pit and had smores packets ready for use. It was very easy to walk to the beach. Looking forward to future visits here.

The property was very nice overall. The hotel location and grounds were very nice. The room was great in design but not cleaned well and smelled of urine. There were not the correct sheets for the sofa bed pull out. There were only 3 glasses, dirty dishes in the cabinets and dead remotes for the tvs.

The place is beautiful but the only issue I had with cleanliness. There was dust and hair in our room and I had to call front desk for new sheets. They sent over new sheets and a new comforter but it smelled so bad like mildew that we went out and bought our own blankets. Other than that it was an easy check in process and the place itself was beautiful, walkable to the beach.

The condo looked amazing in pictures, but fell short in reality. The metal entry door was rusty, the coffee maker was broken and their was a cockroach crawling around the dishwasher. There was a full kitchen,but nowhere to eat. The condo description said "partial sea view, but there was nothing in sight but a parking lot which we got a good look at because there wasn't any blackout blinds. The $80 dollars of extra fees didn't make the experience better. If you're still thinking of renting a lively condo, think again!

We’ve stayed at Lively Beach about 6 times now. Unfortunately this was the first time I have a complaint. The staff is great the pool great the board walk is amazing and the grounds were clean but the room. There was an odor of like urine in the bedroom and there were small black stains on the towels and bed sheets and the oven in our kitchen didn’t work.

The condo was new, clean and bright. It had just been cleaned, so it smelled like lemons. The staff was very friendly and kind. They were always smiling and happy. Beach access was possible via private boardwalk. We were new to the beach scene, so we found that it was actually easier to drive our vehicle to the shoreline. Be advised that you do need a beach permit for the JP Luby Beach if you drive your vehicle onto the beach. You can get these by visiting the Stripes nearby. We would definitely consider staying here again for our next beach trip.

Incredible! Amazing staff super clean room soft comfortable bed, roof top spaces , WiFi throughout the complex grills and a super nice pool. Can also walk straight to the beach from your room. They provide towels to bring to the beach also. It’s also a beautiful complex.

Even though it was a short stay, it was great. The property is quiet and secluded. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff had already communicated with us before we arrived. We are already making plans to return for a more extended stay!

This is our second stay... and the first was alot better. The place is neat, well kept, clean and full of amenities. HOWEVER, the window shades block out about half of the outside lights and headlights, etc. It's extremely hard for me personally to sleep in a room that's simply dim and not dark. There's no way to put up a blanket or anything to improve upon what is already there. Ownership should consider a MUCH THICKER window treatment and then this place would be perfect for our needs. Thanks for you consideration.

Amazing place to stay! Definitely top favorite resort ever !! The room had a pull Out bed which was very convenient, full size refrigerator, stove , microwave , dishwasher. Cute little keurig coffeemaker had some cups with cream and sugar . Beds had clean sheets which is a HUGE plus! Pool I think was heated, but after a a long day at the beach the heated pool felt amazing. Really liked having the outside showers by the pool to help rinse off that sand. The sky decks on top of the resorts had so much sitting space which had great views of the scenery. Also, the front staff, great friendly faces , very helpful. Will definitely come back to add more memories!

Great Stay at Lively Beach Hotel We stayed in a one-bedroom unit on the second floor with a rooftop patio, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The space was bright, clean, and spacious, with two full bathrooms, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private patio—plenty of room to relax. The hotel has a beautiful saltwater pool, a fun bonfire at 9 PM, and a well-lit boardwalk that leads straight to the beach. The gated, private entry gave an extra sense of security, and we loved being able to rent golf carts to explore the area. The only downside to our stay was the mattress. It was extremely firm and rugged. If you’re sensitive to firm beds, bring extra blankets for comfort. Other than that, it was a great stay and we’d still recommend it for families or anyone looking to enjoy the beach in comfort!

Internet was down for the whole visit. Was already down when arrived. Spoke to front desk that night said it was being fixed. Wife spoke with staff in the morning and we were informed that it was down and would not be fixed. She expressed our disapproval and asked for a reduced rate and she was told to notify Hotels.com. No desire to make it right.

Great stay overall! So many great amenities like night wine and live music and easy access to the beach from the boardwalk. Everyone we encountered was extremely nice and courteous. Only thing was wifi connection and signal was not good in the room. But lucky didn’t impact our family time!

Great location and aesthetically very nice. Some staff very helpful to make things "right". The AC in our first room wasn\'t working upon arrival so they moved us on day 2. 1st floor rooms can suffer from noisy neighbors above. Rooms do not get dark at night, especially if facing parking lot. Heavier curtains are needed. No enforcement of "quiet time" except to "call the police"; not even a visit to ask noisy neighbors to be quiet. Hot water takes about 5 minutes to get to showers. Won\'t stay there again.

Internet was down for the whole visit. Was already down when arrived. Spoke to front desk that night said it was being fixed. Wife spoke with staff in the morning and we were informed that it was down and would not be fixed. She expressed our disapproval and asked for a reduced rate and she was told to notify Hotels.com. No desire to make it right.

Lively Beach is a gem! It was secluded, walking distance to the beach and super clean. We do want to thank Jessica and Amaris for their help in answering ALL of our questions. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient!

Employees were friendly. Wine & paint was fun, fire pit with music was great. Golf cart price was bit steep $75 in the off season. The property is beautiful! However, all I could out my window were these rusty steel containers on the property that were such an eyesore! Why on earth they spent all this money for a lovely property, boardwalk, gas fire pit, etc then put these atrocious, rusting steel containers beside is beyond my understanding. I get the cost savings but seems the wrong place to cut it. At first we had no water pressure in our shower and our sink drained slow. We mentioned it to the maintenance man Jorge and he promptly grabbed his tools and resolved the issues. He was so very kind! You definitely need a car when staying at this resort. It’s private and isolated. Had a great, quiet, relaxing time!

Property is less than 100 yards from the beach and very close to grocery stores and local shopping. Ms. Fancy and the rest of the onsite staff are a high speed group. They made our stay very comfortable and worry free. Will definitely book with them again.

Literally this place was picture perfect. Accommodations were pristine and seemed brand new. Staff was friendly and helpful upon several interactions. Loved the pool also, huge! Boardwalk across the dunes to the beach was beautiful and easy to cross. No issues, would totally come back.

Our stay here was simply amazing. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and communication was very thorough. The amenities were simply fantastic. They had a fire pit and had smores packets ready for use. It was very easy to walk to the beach. Looking forward to future visits here.

My husband and I have been going to Lively Beach for the past 4 years for our annual "reset" weekend. They are always ready for us, communication is great, property is quiet and clean. We love the location to the beach.

Nice property, but mgmt staff was unprofessional. We had made arrangements. We contacted management the week before because we reserve some rooms for a military retirement party and we have family from out of town coming in. We were told by management that we could use the rooftop patio for a small get together and had friends and family there. We moved down to the fire pit and a very rude employee Told us that every person there who did not have a room could not had to leave. They called the cops and even the cops thought it was a joke. The management staff was absolutely completely rude to all of us who had rooms and a few guests that we had There. Expedia

Even though it was a short stay, it was great. The property is quiet and secluded. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff had already communicated with us before we arrived. We are already making plans to return for a more extended stay!

Nice facility situated by itself near the edge of Mustang State Park with a boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. Comfortable, clean, well set up rooms. Pleasant, attentive staff.

The fact that the beach is a drive on beach was not disclosed. While the resort is really beautiful and clean the beach is just awful. There were so many people with lots of on sand traffic making it very unsafe for families. I paid to stay at the beach but sadly spent most of my time at the pool.

We love this part of Corpus but have never stayed at this hotel. This hotel is in a very quiet area, set apart from other hotels, rentals and businesses, but just as close to stores and essentials. Security is great for all teams of the property. Property and pool are lovely. The room had the eminities we wanted and was fairly updated. There were a few items that needed fixed or touched up, but nothing that affected us too much. Room and surroundings were clean. Beach access was very close. The walkway to the beach may be difficult for some-stairs and a large sand dune, but most people should be fine. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

This is a truly beautiful place. The access to the beach is amazing. Boardwalks beach showers, fire pits, grass and wildlife. It is paradise in Texas. I liked the rooms very much. We had a nearly new water-heater fail and they immediate started repairs. When it was clear that the repairs would be lengthy they upgraded our room. There are no bad views from anywhere. WARNING, the location is remote. It is the better part of a mile along a local road and a state highway to get to any services. We liked this aspect for peace and quiet it provided, but it requires transportation, there is no walk-up here. We had a rental car which made this very easy. Getting the gate passcode is essential before you can enter and the communication with Expedia was poor. I had early contact with the resort separately beforehand. Sadly a bunch of the clearly expensive large palm trees do not look good after clearly being transplanted here a few years ago. Do not think it is because of a lack of care, the resort clearly waters and cares for them, it is likely because of difficult growing conditions in the hypersaline area of the Laguna Madre area. All in all 4.6 stars for me.

We had a great visit to Lively Beach. The location was awesome and felt very private. It was an easy walk over the boardwalk to the public beach. It was also a short drive to restaurants, CVS, gas stations and Starbucks. The place had more amenities (oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and enough counter space) than we were expecting. The place was clean and the property was quiet. Our only negative was the air conditioning ran continuously the entire time and it was loud. We could adjust the temperature for comfort easily enough, but it never stopped running. The rooftop decks were great. Lots of seating and tables to eat and watch the sunrise and sunset. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Corpus Christi.

Amazing place to stay! Definitely top favorite resort ever !! The room had a pull Out bed which was very convenient, full size refrigerator, stove , microwave , dishwasher. Cute little keurig coffeemaker had some cups with cream and sugar . Beds had clean sheets which is a HUGE plus! Pool I think was heated, but after a a long day at the beach the heated pool felt amazing. Really liked having the outside showers by the pool to help rinse off that sand. The sky decks on top of the resorts had so much sitting space which had great views of the scenery. Also, the front staff, great friendly faces , very helpful. Will definitely come back to add more memories!

Beautiful place for beach vacation, family friendly. Space distribution was very well thought, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. They offer activities on weekends which is a nice touch. The pool could be colder, at least during the summer. We didn’t realize we could ask for pool towels until the last day

The location was great. The hotel is priced appropriately. We were here for other commitments and didn’t get much beach time other than a few strolls during our stay. We will definitely be back and staying for fun at the beach. I loved having a kitchen to make healthy meals but there are tons of food options nearby. I did appreciate the contactless check in/out since we were arriving late and leaving early.

Beautiful property with large pool area, spacious grilling/eating patio. No dining options on sight, but restaurants close by. Kitchens a nice plus. Fresh, new and clean! Walk to beach on private boardwalk. Open grasslands around the property. Quiet. Would loved to have had beach chairs available. We would stay here again!

Was an excellent stay at lively Beach resort. Super clean and peaceful. They had complementary wine Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 and all the workers were extremely nice. They gave us a free room upgrade which we were super grateful for. I would recommend you stay here. The beach is awesome and the resort is beautiful. My only con is I didn’t stay longer.

Large pool in complex, rooftop beach viewing areas, fire pit and outdoor grills. Note: This area allows driving on the beach and beach parking accessible by entrance next to resort. Dune buggies / golf carts are available to rent with pickup within resort.

I’m so glad we came across Lively Beach Resort for a last minute beach getaway. Stellar vibes at this beautiful resort property with modern rooms, beach access, great common spaces like the fire pit area, beautiful pool and amazing staff! Enjoyed the daily activities the staff hosted like popsicles at the pool and complimentary wine down with music at the end of the night. AND pet friendly! We can’t wait to go back!

Overall it was a good stay. We had a few issues like the door to our room did not close properly, the sand was very piled up headed down to the beach(it was almost straight up hill to get back to the boardwalk), and there was dog feces outside our door. However it was very quiet and peaceful.

The seclusion of this property and the free wine bar and paint by numbers was amazing. I absolutely loved everything about this property. Fully stocked kitchenette and the beds and water pressure were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on staying there again.

Great place to stay on Padre Island. The had all everything needed for our stay, with the exception of a broom to clean up any sand brought in from the beach. Aside from that I would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Lively Beach has alot of potential to be a great property but missed the mark completely even when given the opportunity to remedy my grievances. Character limits within this site won't allow me to go into the detail I would prefer. My Google review will go into much more detail. But I paid alot of money to stay here and left feeling robbed of the experience I paid for. Ive spent far less at other properties in the area and received far better accommodation , service and responsiveness. Again I gave the staff an opportunity to correct my issues, they over promised and under delivered st every turn. My room was DISGUSTING and required me cleaning it myself to get it to a standard that a resort should have down pat. I had a great trip but it was no thanks to Lively Beach who left much to be desired. Not worth it!
