Great facilities and restaurants in the resort. I did find the restaurants in the hotel a bit expensive.

Stayed for 2 nights , amazing place with private beach. Choice of quality restaurants .

I paid a premium price expecting a private beach. Whilst that was the case. Just across the beach was a construction site. With several cranes and heavy drilling and banging throughout the day. Ruined the experience and I had to attempt the noise out using headphones but even that wasn't working. Very upset indeed. Furthermore I paid for a hotel with spa access. I got a pool which was simply too cold to swim in and a sauna which was out of order. Again not what I paid a premium for. All in all ruined the whole experience.

The hotel and staff were fabulous. The lobby area is grand and even has a pianist playing at certain times during the day which is a classy touch. The only service related issue I had was that at breakfast the service was hit and miss in that tea and coffee or omlette orders could be slow in arriving at the table or may not arrive at all and we had to reorder. But overall our stay was a memorable and relaxing one. The staff were helpful in arranging excursions. The room was spotless, the room itself was massive as was the bed (which was extremely comfortable). One improvement would be to have a more powerful shower. We were looking for a relaxing stay and chose this hotel because of the beach, pool area, spa and choice of restaurants. Breakfast had great variety also with a mix of English-style and Indian breakfasts alongside local foods and plenty of healthy options like fruit, yoghurts, cereals to go with the sweeter options like pancakes, waffles, pastries etc.

Nice accommodation, great size family rooms, which are very clean and well stocked with water and hot drinks. Position of the hotel is great, convenient for most things, and the beach is immaculate. Restaurants offer excellent options, the kids club is small but very well run by Sarah and her team, thank you for your kind care. For a quiet and convenient Middle East family break this is effortless and ticks most boxes.

The pool area does not get any sun

We recently stayed at Marsa Malaz Kempinski as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and had a truly fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spacious, luxurious, and perfect for a family – plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kids (and adults!) especially loved the pools, jacuzzi, and beach area – there’s so much to enjoy. In-room dining was convenient and tasty, with a good range of options. One highlight of our stay was the staff – they were exceptional, especially with the children. A special mention to Elizabeth, who always went the extra mile to make the kids feel welcome and entertained. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Getting around Doha was easy with Karwa Taxi, and the valet team at the hotel were incredibly helpful – arranging taxis, giving sightseeing recommendations, and always assisting with getting the kids in and out of cars with a smile. We also appreciated the buggy service around the hotel – a nice touch for families. The hotel is well-located near Qanat Quartier, just a 5–7 minute walk away, and we had a lovely breakfast/brunch at the Artist Café nearby. Highly recommend this hotel for families – luxury, comfort, and wonderful service all in one place. We will definitely come back!

Lovely shaded shallow pools for the children and because there are multiple pools you don't feel on top of other people. Lovely beach.

Outstanding stay. Our second time coming back to the Kempinski, the moment the valet open our car doors - we are greeted like family (even tho weve never met). The service here is impecabble - and not forced at all. Check in experience was great, she asked me lots of questions to understand our needs and then let me know what was in our package that we would benefit from. I LOVED talking to Sara at the Kids Club - so genuine and good with kids. We love the pool layout at the Kempinski - its a weird one i know- but the layout is perfect for kids and tired adults supervising. Plus theres always a great buzz and vibe at the pool area. The valet team are really cool - my 1 year old was obsessed with their novel buggy at the front - i let him play on it and they actually took us for a spin round the resort in it - they even stopped outside the giant horse and took pics for us. Well priced and amazing experience and service - not to mention you feel like youre in an Arabian palace.

We had a really good stay at this hotel. Everything was brilliant overall. The breakfast was good, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff made the experience even better — they were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Elizabeth at the entrance and Noura in the dining area, as well as the other team members whose names I unfortunately can’t recall. We’ve been very happy with our stay here and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Der Strand ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal sehr freundlich, professionell und extrem bemüht. Um die Ecke gibt es haufenweise Cafés, Restaurants und auch einen Supermarkt. Ich schreibe, wenn ich ehrlich bin, nur eine Bewertung, wenn mich etwas extrem gestört hat bzw., wenn es eine Abzocke ist, um Leute vorzuwarnen und meine Erfahrung zu ersparen. Amazing experience. We stayed for four nights with two children. Staff were very kind and very accommodating. The hotel was gorgeous and very clean! Our room was large and had an excellent view. Very good dining options as well. Would highly recommend this property in doha!!

Das Hotel ist von seiner Bauweise und Ausstattung sehr schön und erinnert an das Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. Der Service entspricht allerdings nicht dem Standard eines 5 Sterne Hotels! Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast und haben einiges miterlebt: 1. die Zimmer wurden nur auf Bestellung gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Dabei war der Zeitraum sehr variabel! Manchmal auch erst abends. 2. Zimmer für 4 Pers. Beim Einchecken war das Zimmer nur für 2 Pers. hergerichtet. Das gebuchte Zusatzbett nicht gestellt. 3. auf dem Flur vor dem Zimmer standen teilweise länger als 24h abgegessene Teller rum, ehe sie weggeräumt wurden. 4. das Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant Public House war für die angebotenen Speisen auf zu wenig Platz aufgebaut. Es kam öfters zu Stau und zu Kleckereien. Dadurch war das Buffet teilweise unappetitlich. Leere Behälter wurden träge aufgefüllt. Das Restaurant Personal bestand offensichtlich aus ungelernten Hilfskräften. Auch Kaffee wurde falsch serviert. Statt Latte Macchiato gab es mal Cafe latte oder Espresso macchiato. Außerdem war es 0-8-15 Automaten Kaffee, keine Baristamaschine. 5. unser Zimmer mit Ballon lag zum Pool und Innenhof. Abends war die Musik und die Geräuschkulisse vom Public House recht laut. Die Kinder durften auch bis ca 22.00 Trampolin und Co im Innenhof nutzen, was ebenfalls störend war. Wer es ruhiger mag sollte die günstigeren Zimmer zur Stadt hin nehmen. Kommunikation an sich war schwierig. Es kam öfters zu Missverständnissen.

The rooms were very spacious and decor was stunning. Staff were very attentive with our daughter to ensure she had all she needed

The hotel was a bit outdated and felt it was need of a refurb. The rooms where big but feels they were from the 90s era. But in general nice staff and very helpful. The hotel breakfast was in a diner style resturant which felt a bit tacky.

Nice hotel but the beds are not very comfortable as similar hotels at the same level

Our experience at the hotel was fantastic overall. The property is impressively spacious and aesthetically stunning, yet it maintains a comfortable and uncrowded atmosphere. The main issue was the initial room we were assigned, which had an unpleasant odor, prompting us to request a room change. The rooms, particularly the upgraded one we occupied, seemed somewhat dated and lacked a certain level of style and modernity. The amenities provided in the room were disappointingly of low quality, giving off more of a 4-star hotel vibe rather than the expected luxury of a 5-star establishment. While the hotel's overall interior exuded luxury and beauty, the discrepancy in quality between the common areas and the rooms was noticeable. Despite this, we still had a pleasant stay and appreciated the positive aspects of our experience.

informed the Duty Manager and the Guest Relations team about the noise and drilling sounds in my room and requested a room change. They assured me that the issue would not happen again. Unfortunately, the noise continued until the last day of my stay, and my room was never changed. This experience was very disappointing, especially after raising the concern early and being promised a solution.

This property is absolutely gorgeous in a perfect location in the pearl. The staff is absolutely 100% exceptional KOUSHAL the concierge is the best if he can make it happen he will. Ask him where the best sunsets are. Ray in the cigar lounge made the best old-fashioned we've ever had. Watch out the cigar lounge looks closed all the time, but it's just because of the smoky doors. Every person in this hotel made us feel welcome and the breakfast was exceptional. The chefs were wonderful. The servers were wonderful. The international vibe is just incredible. Empty dull dead place. We walked in to an empty mini bar. When you call takes long time to answer and sometimes no one answer in the reception. Price is very high but hotel has no life.

The property is situated on a man-made island in the city. As such, there are not many restaurants or shops nearby serving local cuisine. We were told that we could walk to shopping but were not certain how to get there. As such, our stay had a healthy dose of Uber. That said, the food at the hotel was great. So too was the enthusiastic attitude and support of the staff whom we had a chance to meet. No matter the question, the staff always responded with a smile. In particular, I think the efforts of Praneesh, Adnane, Hanna, and Brenda were especially noteworthy. A nice thing about the property is that is it has a beachh. This is a nice feature for those warm Doha days!

This is a family-oriented hotel with a large pool area and private beach. Reception was a bit apathetic. We were not able to dine in the main restaurant (Italian menu) during our three-night stay as it was fully booked. May not be the best choice for couples.

Das Hotel ist von seiner Bauweise und Ausstattung sehr schön und erinnert an das Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. Der Service entspricht allerdings nicht dem Standard eines 5 Sterne Hotels! Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast und haben einiges miterlebt: 1. die Zimmer wurden nur auf Bestellung gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Dabei war der Zeitraum sehr variabel! Manchmal auch erst abends. 2. Zimmer für 4 Pers. Beim Einchecken war das Zimmer nur für 2 Pers. hergerichtet. Das gebuchte Zusatzbett nicht gestellt. 3. auf dem Flur vor dem Zimmer standen teilweise länger als 24h abgegessene Teller rum, ehe sie weggeräumt wurden. 4. das Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant Public House war für die angebotenen Speisen auf zu wenig Platz aufgebaut. Es kam öfters zu Stau und zu Kleckereien. Dadurch war das Buffet teilweise unappetitlich. Leere Behälter wurden träge aufgefüllt. Das Restaurant Personal bestand offensichtlich aus ungelernten Hilfskräften. Auch Kaffee wurde falsch serviert. Statt Latte Macchiato gab es mal Cafe latte oder Espresso macchiato. Außerdem war es 0-8-15 Automaten Kaffee, keine Baristamaschine. 5. unser Zimmer mit Ballon lag zum Pool und Innenhof. Abends war die Musik und die Geräuschkulisse vom Public House recht laut. Die Kinder durften auch bis ca 22.00 Trampolin und Co im Innenhof nutzen, was ebenfalls störend war. Wer es ruhiger mag sollte die günstigeren Zimmer zur Stadt hin nehmen. Kommunikation an sich war schwierig. Es kam öfters zu Missverständnissen.
