I really liked the overall layout of the property. Easy parking out front, elevators right between the walkout to the pool and the parking lot. The ramp to the beach from the pool area has no stairs and was handicap accessible. I liked having codes for the condo, pool, and beach access, so I didn't need to carry anything. The building looks old, but everything worked well and was comfortable. The unit itself was large enough for my family, yet felt cozy because of how it was decorated. A couple of things I do wish were different: the shower head showed as being a wand one in the pics was not, which made things more difficult for me as a handicap person. I brought my own bath seat for the shower, and it fitted well. However without a wand, I had to stand and move more in the shower to reach the water. I wish there were a screen door on the balcony or that some of the windows could be opened. There wasn't a toaster in the kitchen for my son's waffles, just a toaster oven. Make sure to read the unit's description regarding starter supplies and bring your own, especially toilet paper. We were expecting that, so we came prepared. No big deal. We brought our own beach towels and toys since we didn't find any in the unit. There were plenty of bath towels though. We had a nice time and weren't ready to leave when our stay was over. We also appreciated how affordable this Gulf front rental was.

Believe the manager when they say only one day’s worth of soaps etc. Bring garbage bags, dish and dishwashing soap, tp, hand soap and laundry detergent. No hair dryer either. While unit was nice, building itself shows wear. One elevator was down for about 4 days, and both elevators sounded cranky as they worked. Could use a tune-up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved this condo for spring break 2023. We had 4 adults and 1 child. The condo had plenty of space for all of us to gather and be separated if we wanted. The master bedroom, bedroom and bathroom(s) upstairs were great. Kitchen appliances are nice and upgraded. Some of the issues we had were the TV remotes were complicated to use and maybe the batteries were dead. The gate(s) to and from the beach/pool area seemed a bit much to us but may be a safety issue, also the no restroom in the pool area for public use was frustrating (elevators worked great). Finally, the stairs in the condo are absolutely a problem, they move when you walk on them and are a challenge going up and down them. The employees are absolutely great and went out of the way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay and we truly appreciate that.

Loved unit. Updated. Good location: across from grocery and restaurants, walkable to Gulf State Park for run or walk, located on beach. Beautiful beach view and easy access. Elevator available to unit. Management staff and security wonderful and very helpful. Stairs to 2 baths and 2 bedrooms with on suite baths are spiral so be mindful regarding persons who might not be able to access. Both upstairs bedrooms have ocean views. Main bedroom upstairs has balcony and roof deck access. Second floor guest bedroom window with view. Bedroom on first floor no stairs with hallway 3/4 bath; very nice. Main floor balcony access. Both balconies have ocean views. Ty. Really enjoyed our stay. Hope to be back. Judy

The 2nd living space was super helpful with our crew. The only thing I would recommend for the unit is to add 2 more adirondack chairs for the main balcony. Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay.There was only one elevator working during our stay, which is not the fault of our unit's owners. Just thought we should mention it so the unit owners know that.

We loved the condo, very clean and comfortable for a family! The upstairs extra balcony is very nice and the location is very convenient. The only issue we had was the elevator they need maintenance because we had trouble getting out of them doors didn't open

Reviewer Comments: I think it's time for the owner of this property to walk thru this space with a critical eye and and make notes on everything that is extremely old (pots and pans, can opener, etc) dirty (walls, ceilings, ceiling fans, etc) and old worn out decor and books, etc. The faucet in the full bathroom sink needs replacement, the cloth shower curtain had blood on it. We were very comfortable with the living room furniture and the king sized bed was great.

Overall, we have a great experience. However, the electrical outlets in the master bedroom were worn and wouldn't properly hold a three-prong plug. I had to use kitchen outlets to charge my laptop and phone. Also, the tile floors need a moping. YOu'd get out of the shower, walk across the floor in your bare feet and they'd be dirty within a few steps. The place just needs some attention and a few minor repairs, otherwise this would be a five-star review. Management was friendly, BTW.

This property worked for our adult family of seven! We are not super picky and do not care too much as long as it is decently clean as we are on the go alot. Positives are the the pool and beach are easily accessible...Hostevva was great with checkin and any questions. Nice to have Walmart right across the street! Negatives are the condo is outdated and was not super clean...our feet were black from the flooring so we started wearing socks and discarded them daily! I think the condo may need new carpet or new cleaning procedures for the floor? We also found a piece of chicken under one of the night stands when we arrived. For the price, from what I know we could have paid around the same for a more updated/cleaner condo...but we do like the location...had been 7 years since we stayed there...definitely needs updates! But, we enjoyed our time in Orange Beach!

Pros- absolutely stunning view directly in the beach. Condo is spacious and very conveniently located- groceries across the street and everything within walking distance. Price was fair with the exception of all the fees. Cost of fees is ridiculous. Condo is fairly equipped. Cons- none really Suggestions! Needs a hair dryer. The sliding glass door needs a handle. The floors look clean but at the end of the day my feet were embarrassingly black from dirt. The colors could be more coastal and brighter in the common area (LR and kitchen) I would definitely stay there again.

We checked into the condo and found it to be exp what the pictures showed. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were spotless and the view from our balcony was beautiful!
We checked into the condo and found it to be exp what the pictures showed. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were spotless and the view from our balcony was beautiful!

Please be aware that this is a two story condo with the kitchen, MB, and living room accessible only by a steep staircase. They need to have a picture of the stairs and make that much more clear. The condo could use a refresh and deep clean. The view, however, was spectacular.

The only issue we had were the beds. Found the master bedroom mattress was too soft and did not offer proper support.

Loved unit. Updated. Good location: across from grocery and restaurants, walkable to Gulf State Park for run or walk, located on beach. Beautiful beach view and easy access. Elevator available to unit. Management staff and security wonderful and very helpful. Stairs to 2 baths and 2 bedrooms with on suite baths are spiral so be mindful regarding persons who might not be able to access. Both upstairs bedrooms have ocean views. Main bedroom upstairs has balcony and roof deck access. Second floor guest bedroom window with view. Bedroom on first floor no stairs with hallway 3/4 bath; very nice. Main floor balcony access. The location is great. Convenient to everything you would need. The building is older but the room has been recently updated. Furniture and decorations were nice. The air conditioner is LOUD and located in a cabinet in the kitchen. There was a board wedge against the AC to try to reduce the vibration but it could be heard throughout the unit. Temps were in the mid to high 80’s outside during our stay and the AC was never able to get it below 76 inside at night and it would climb during the day. The battery in the only smoke detector also went out so that started beeping around midnight. Overall it was nice, just some concerns with how well utilities are maintained.

We called at 430 pm to tell the management we would not be there until 530 pm. There was no envelope with our parking pass or our door code left in the after hours lock box like she said. We arrived at 530 in the sweltering heat. After over 20 calls to the only 2 numbers we had for the management company, noone ever answerered. The on site security gaurd finally made some calls after an hour of standing around in 95 degrees and 90 % humidity. The manager apologized and said she would get us a gift card. We never received a gift card and will never stay in those condos again or anything Costal manages. We go to Orange beach every year. And this was the worst experience!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Most of the outlets were loose and would not hold a plug in. Honestly, this is a huge fire concern. Paint is literally peeling off the walls.The jacuzzi in the master bed did not work.Pots and pans extremely cheap or falling apart. Front office is not friendly.Will not stay at 408 again.

From checking in with Sherry and sorry I spelled that wrong to the condo to the beach to eating at our local favorites. Again this year was fabulous weather great customer service at all the restaurants and the condo was clean as usual! We only had 1 fall back this year. The room we had did. Ot have a shower in the main bedroom but we didn't let that bother us. It had a tub but no shower but we still managed. If you have never stayed at sunswept we will tell you after 7 years with sometimes twice a year they have never disappointed us!!!! Thank you Sherry and staff

Pros- absolutely stunning view directly in the beach. Condo is spacious and very conveniently located- groceries across the street and everything within walking distance. Price was fair with the exception of all the fees. Cost of fees is ridiculous. Condo is fairly equipped. Cons- none really Suggestions! Needs a hair dryer. The sliding glass door needs a handle. The floors look clean but at the end of the day my feet were embarrassingly black from dirt. The colors could be more coastal and brighter in the common area (LR and kitchen) I would definitely stay there again.

Location, pool/beach ideal, great patio area, the mattresses were new and comfortable...but that was it. Grungy, old , outdated unit that very inexpensive fixes would easily give the unit a fresh feel. Old outdated furniture, filthy throw pillows and furniture cushions and moldy/rusty shower curtains, poorly accessorized kitchen were quite the turn off.
