Excellent home, great space, kitchen was perfect, living areas were spacious, outdoor spaces were comfy, wifi was fast, outdoor shower made life easy, and the pool table was a huge hit. The beach was a close walk and not crazy crowded. The bad...This home should have been a slam dunk 5 star review. We are rating it as a 4 but was tempted to go as low as a 3. 3.5 is what feels right. 1. We were disappointed with the property managements (VACASA) delayed responses to issues we had. First of all, there were way too many ways to get help. Do we use VRBO's app help messaging? Text the phone # we were given? Email? Use VACASA? We went with the VRBO app messaging, and it took 24-48 hours to get answers, and it was a different person each time. 2. The VACASA listing showed it had a charcoal grill, so we brought charcoal and food to grill. Upon arrival we discovered it was gas (the listing has now been updated). Then 6 days later the day before we were leaving, we were told a grill was not available for use at the moment and it wasn't listed on the listing page (which it was). SMH. We ended up cooking on the stove top which wasn't optimal. 3. Upon arrival there was not sufficient towels, but someone came to bring more the next day once we let them know. 4. I wish we had known in advance to bring our own chairs/umbrellas since you can't rent them at the nearby beach access. Luckily, we were able to carry rentals from a nearby company back and forth each day.
