The Delphi Downtown LA

Gorgeous lobby. Cool bar/restaurant on roof. Excellent breakfast. Mattress and pillows were GREAT but sitting on a low platform I constantly worried about tripping over and that made getting out of bed challenging. Bathroom decor was nice, but extremely low counter with very limited space for your items. I did not explicitly request maid service so got none

The location was great and the rooftop terrace and pool were lovely. The front desk team should advise guests at check in that it’s only accessible via a separate service elevator. Be sure to walk through the LA Central Library next door. Its interior is amazing. There are free docent tours available on certain days/times of the week. Breakfast and room service started at 7am which was later than we would have preferred since we had to leave at 7am to make it to our business meetings. The bathroom needs a towel rack or retractable line. There is only one hook and no where to hang towels and the bath mat which means they’re in a wet mess on the counter. The Hotel only provides housekeeping every two days which means you have to request new towels (and coffee pods) be delivered to your room. I would have been happy to use the same towels during my stay if there had been a rack or retractable line to hang them so they could dry. The bed and pillows were comfortable however the design is not accessible for people with mobility challenges. It’s on a low platform which makes it challenging to get in and out of bed. One of my colleagues had an injury and was staying in an accessible room which had the same low platform bed as the other rooms. There really should be a rubber bath mat or grab bar in the showers for anti-slip purposes. Otherwise consider using a hand towel on the shower floor for extra grip. The bar fridge didn’t keep food or drinks cold.

Carpet in room looks old and light in restroom did not work properly and was not fixed while I was there although I reported it.

beautiful king suite room! clean! booked the place as a staycation and to catch a couple concerts, had a great time! nice staff, decent food options around

I had the MOST incredible french toast and fruit compote, and I am a french toast expert! My daughter said the same about the cooked to order fries
