The house was clean and well furnished, with plenty of space for our family! We appreciate the beach towels, beach toys, and beach chairs provided by the owner. Courtney at the property management office was extremely helpful and responsive when we identified an issue. And we appreciate that the owner was willing to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our time at the beach house.

We loved the location!! We wanted the beach as our backyard & we got it! Close to parks, lots of walking opportunities, grocers, yet quiet location. Took advantage of Oxnard beach park, harbor park for the free concert which was super fun! Roomy house, well equipped. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs, etc - liked the extra pillows but couldn’t find pillow cases - only two dish towels which made it hard to do dishes with 10 people. - bikes that were provided had flat tires so couldn’t use - property picture showed gas grill on deck, but only grill we saw was charcoal and under stairs. Didn’t see other grill till we checked out this morning. - furniture felt very used. Understand it’s a beach house but even the fabric on the couches felt gritty from sand, etc. - swept with broom daily but couldn’t find operational mop Peeling paint outside. Property could use an update

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this vacation home. This is our seventh family vacation in California. We have also stayed in Imperial Beach, and Ventura. By far this home was the best. It's very large. There was eleven in our party, and we were all comfortable. The home was in very good condition.There are two bikes to ride, boogie boards, and sand toys. We left some sand toys and boogie boards to add to their collection.We also found the lid to a gas grill that works real well for a safe fire to make smores that we left also. The kitchen was well stocked.WE cooked most days.The only thing it was missing was a potato peeler, which we bought, and left. The only complaint I have is that the livingroom furniture has feather stuffed cushions that are in need of stuffing. The other issue is there are no ceiling fans anywhere in the house. Each room has a light fixture in the ceiling that could be easily replaced with a combination fan/light. The fifth bedroom was an attic suite which was nice for teenager's, It had a large couch with a bigscreen T.V. and play station. In the corner nook there was a set of bunk beds. One floor down on the main floor there was a very large master. Huge bathroom connected with a large jetted tub, and separate shower. Down another flight off the garage, and front entrance was three bedrooms. Two had king beds. The third room also had a king bed plus a set of bunk beds. I would recommend this house to anyone. You won't be unhappy with the pictures or description not matching the house. We have been very disappointed in the past, but not with this house. Had a small issue with ants, but that seems to be the norm in the Ventura/Oxnard area.

Loved that is was right on the beach and within walking distance of some good restaurants. The house itself is loaded with things to do like bikes, boogie boards and games. The only negative is one of the beds is REALLY hard and the bbq is tiny for such a big house. All the ladies at the office were great to deal with and they made it all so easy. If you are there on a Sunday be sure to make it over to the harbor (right by the office) for the farmers market, we picked up lots of treasures!

We had three generations, 10 people total, under one roof and it was more than enough room for everyone. The location is perfect with the beach right in front of you. The rooms were comfortable. The dining area allowed for the 10 of us to eat dinner together and enjoy the sunset every night. Also, the total number of bathrooms with showers was a huge plus after many days out at the beach. Parking was also nice with room for our 4 vehicles. We look forward to staying in the home again for a future family vacation.

It's biking distance from everything and the ability to walk out right onto the sand is wonderful. Lot's of parking, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house. If you want to BBQ, you will need to bring your own charcoal, etc. The house is a little tired (furniture is worn, some damage to walls and paint and cabinets/fixtures are older), but it's a beach house and they let us bring our dogs so it was fine for what our needs were. Great communication with rental agency and very easy to book. The price is fair for what you get, and plenty of room.

We had an excellent time with family these last few days! The views out the front windows were spectacular of the big private beach and sparkling ocean. This is an older house that needs some TLC, like the slider door to the beach, missing racks in the oven, no ice maker and other odds and ends, but the beauty of a big table for family dinners together and playing games together topped these minor problems. We loved all being together and will return back to this home!!!

The location is incredible - right on the beach! The views from inside are wonderful as well. The property decor and furnishings are dated. Some of the drinking glasses were dirty with lipstick from previous guests. We just washed ahead what we were going to use. Checkin process/instructions were very clear and we had no trouble.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was very good. The property is in a great location and lived the quiet of the beach. The only downsides are the furnishing in the main living area...very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Also the interior doors do not always stay closed and there are not locks on all. This is tricky for a multi family stay. I would still recommend and stay at this house again but would be happy with some updating.

Easy breezy access (although I did wipe down front door) wonderful location. Neighbors friendly. Because we did rent in March, we were disappointed w fireplace not working. Did see it mentioned in an earlier review so was hoping it was addressed. It was not. But when your w family, how can your weekend not end up fantastic ❤️

Our grandchildren love their water activities while the rest of us enjoying walking on the shore. We liked being within walking distance of the nearest shopping center. Would to see a few accommodations to the seniors such as a grab bar in master bedroom bath.

The property was beautiful and very roomy, it accommodated us all, with plenty of personal space. We loved the layout, but if you are not fond of stairs, then this is not your place ...there is 3 levels. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is huge. It is an older beach house but has plenty of charm. We will definitely come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was very good. The property is in a great location and lived the quiet of the beach. The only downsides are the furnishing in the main living area...very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Also the interior doors do not always stay closed and there are not locks on all. This is tricky for a multi family stay. I would still recommend and stay at this house again but would be happy with some updating.

I have rented homes all over the world, and this house felt like home soon after we arrived. It has so many amenities and made for a beautiful vacation location. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We had three generations, 10 people total, under one roof and it was more than enough room for everyone. The location is perfect with the beach right in front of you. The rooms were comfortable. The dining area allowed for the 10 of us to eat dinner together and enjoy the sunset every night. Also, the total number of bathrooms with showers was a huge plus after many days out at the beach. Parking was also nice with room for our 4 vehicles. We look forward to staying in the home again for a future family vacation.

We had an excellent time with family these last few days! The views out the front windows were spectacular of the big private beach and sparkling ocean. This is an older house that needs some TLC, like the slider door to the beach, missing racks in the oven, no ice maker and other odds and ends, but the beauty of a big table for family dinners together and playing games together topped these minor problems. We loved all being together and will return back to this home!!!

What an amazing place to stay with my family. Beach access and views from the windows was wonderful! I saw some complaints about distance to water but it wasn’t as bad as they made it seem. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a couple young adults. Everything is well marked and plenty of towels (including beach towels) are available. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is located in an amazing area, right on the sand with the water about 25 miles out. There was a volleyball net nearby which was tons of fun! The furniture in the house was a bit worn out but I guess the price adjusts for thay.

The house was clean and well furnished, with plenty of space for our family! We appreciate the beach towels, beach toys, and beach chairs provided by the owner. Courtney at the property management office was extremely helpful and responsive when we identified an issue. And we appreciate that the owner was willing to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our time at the beach house.

Loved that is was right on the beach and within walking distance of some good restaurants. The house itself is loaded with things to do like bikes, boogie boards and games. The only negative is one of the beds is REALLY hard and the bbq is tiny for such a big house. All the ladies at the office were great to deal with and they made it all so easy. If you are there on a Sunday be sure to make it over to the harbor (right by the office) for the farmers market, we picked up lots of treasures!

Perfect.The house was all that we needed and more, dining looking out at the ocean, watching dolphins, rainbows, lovely!We had plenty of space for everyone! and with the fireplace it was cosy and warm. We loved the location!! We wanted the beach as our backyard & we got it! Close to parks, lots of walking opportunities, grocers, yet quiet location. Took advantage of Oxnard beach park, harbor park for the free concert which was super fun! Roomy house, well equipped. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs, etc - liked the extra pillows but couldn’t find pillow cases - only two dish towels which made it hard to do dishes with 10 people. - bikes that were provided had flat tires so couldn’t use - property picture showed gas grill on deck, but only grill we saw was charcoal and under stairs. Didn’t see other grill till we checked out this morning. - furniture felt very used. Understand it’s a beach house but even the fabric on the couches felt gritty from sand, etc. - swept with broom daily but couldn’t find operational mop Peeling paint outside. Property could use an update

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented many beach homes over the years in Southern California. This was our first stay in the Oxnard area. The home was extremely well supplied and so clean! The beds were comfortable and the home easily accommodated our extended family of 10. Really, we have nothing negative to say about the home. The location is on an extremely wide, quiet stretch of beautiful beach. The photo in the listing of the chairs on the beach is exactly how it looks. Our grandkids had hoped to surf and boogie board, but the shore break and poor waves prevented that. The locals tell us it is due to a sand bar that forms each year off shore and is forming late this year. Who knew? It's a good location for little ones to play in the sand but there were very few people swimming and no boarders out there. We all had fun in spite of that and the sunsets were spectacular. Stalking the Mr Softee Icecream truck, dining st Seafresh, kayaking in the marina were highlights of our stay. Great home in a quiet neighborhood made for a relaxing vacation.

What an amazing place to stay with my family. Beach access and views from the windows was wonderful! I saw some complaints about distance to water but it wasn’t as bad as they made it seem. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a couple young adults. Everything is well marked and plenty of towels (including beach towels) are available. Would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very good time in our second return to this property. We like the location on the ocean front. Our grandchildren love their water activities while the rest of us enjoying walking on the shore. We liked being within walking distance of the nearest shopping center. Would to see a few accommodations to the seniors such as a grab bar in master bedroom bath.

The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. All the rooms were spacious and perfect for 10 people vacationing together. We look forward to going back again next year!

Oxnard was great, and we were close to the harbor, restaurants and everything we wanted. We took fun day trips to Ojai, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Ventura...It was a great time for family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We celebrated Christmas with our family. The house easily accommodated all 10 of us. Grandparents, children and grandchildren. We had a good time in spite of rain. The grandchildren loved being able to walk right onto the sand.It is a house built in 1981 so it does show its age. Very clean. The kitchen needs more silverware. And if you are a cook bring your own knives.Over a good experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home takes your breath away as soon as you get to the top of the stairs. It actually brought tears to my eyes because in addition to the view, the management company had put up a beautiful Christmas tree(we were arriving on December 15 to celebrate my 70th birthday.) This home is SO warm and welcoming. Its coastal decor is delightful. All of the bedrooms had wonderful beds with very comfortable foam pillow toppers. The dining room table was large enough for all six of us to play family games and also enjoy delicious dinners while watching the sunset! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There is a charcoal barbecue available, which we put a good use. The sand is literally at your doorstep and the walk to the water was actually very close. We saw dolphins and seals frolicking in the water as well as seagulls dancing in the ocean breeze. The Terra cotta floor tiles made for easy cleanup of sand that was brought in from our walks. I could go on and on about how wonderful and “beach cozy” this home was, but I think I can finish by saying that all of us went through withdrawals after leaving this home and we all hope to be back to visit it again next year for another family gathering.
