Ivy Luxury Hotel Ha Noi

Don’t stay on the 8th floor, the restaurant on the 9th floor starts moving furniture around by 7 am and it doesn’t stop till 12:30 am.

All in all a pretty lackluster experience and by no means “luxury” as the name misleadingly advertises. We arrived late at night. The staff were not rude, but not very helpful either (e.g., no proper introduction to the hotel, our room or the immediate surroundings). The room itself was spacious, but overall low quality and the pictures are by no means true to the actual state of the place. The toilet was absolutely decrepit - part of the ceiling was ruined, the shower had mold, and for some inexplicable reason there was a pipe through the wall with water dripping continuously on the floor. Also most of the metal appliances (both in the kitchen and bathroom) were showing signs of rusting, and there was a huge patch of mold in the ceiling in the hallway. The amenities were according to what is to be expected of a three-star hotel. Would not recommend, and we actually ended up booking a different hotel after only one night.

Vi var veldig fornøyde med hotellet. Det lå like ved old quarter og vi hadde gåavstand til det meste i Hanoi. Personalet var veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Vi fikk lov å oppbevare kofferten vår kostnadsfritt på hotellet i tre dager mens vi var vekkreist til SaPa. Anbefaler hotellet
