This property was an absolute pleasure to stay in with all the modern security features for peace of mind knowing we were safe and sound and having the convenience of being able to check in when we wanted. It was spacious with a cozy ambiance it was one of the best stays we have had whilst visiting Tassie in our 5 trips. Well done we will be back for longer next time and not on a Sunday night where the town is sleeping.

Check in by numbers, no staff on deck. Laundry room open 24 hours and free. A pity no kitchen sink and no advice as to whether unit would be serviced. It wasn't, we washed dishes in bathroom sink. No toaster. A toasted sandwich machine was available.

We found this place fantastic value for money and was presented at a very high standard. Whilst it caused us no problems, please be aware that car parking is in existing public car parking spaces rather on site.

Absolutely spot on, loved the location, set up, cleanliness ease of access and security. Well thought out boutique luxury accomodation that provided all you could want with design flair when staying in this area. The access to the building with automated doors and lift really an added benefit for anyone with cases as well. Highly recommend

We were given a handicapped suite without notice. No vanity, no built in shower so the whole bathroom floor got wet when you showered leading to wet feet every time you went to the toilet. Shelf above the basin made it impossible to wash or shave your face. Mould in the grout lines of the shower wall and floor tiles. Only one tiny window that was 2.5m off the floor that you couldn’t see out of. Central location but very disappointed overall

Hotels.com sent me an email (only 24hrs before check in) to say the booking was cancelled in high season! Not even a phone call from hotels.com. Took over 2hrs to rectify this. Hotels.com were not helpful but the communication with the hotel manager was fantastic and she helped get things finalised (lucky for us they had a room). The location is perfect for restaurants and a short drive to bay of fires. The hotel room was exceptionally clean. The mattress on my partners side had quite a dip in it so he wasnt comfy, but i slept like a baby haha!

Suite No 5 is is handicapped accessible, which means that the shower is only separated by a curtain and the (very small) washbasin in the bathroom hangs very low. Contrary to the description, there is no kitchenette, only a fridge, coffee machine, kettle and a sandwich toaster. There is also no table in the room where two people can eat. The bed is comfortable and the staff extremely friendly.

Stayed for two nights and the apartment had everything you can ask for. Very comfy living area and a nice size bathroom. The decor was a little odd in parts of the appartment, but was still cool.. My only complaint was the size of the second bedroom and the fact only a curtain was used, was more like a closet than a bedroom.

We had 3 separate bookings with 2 young kids families, booked the whole Tasmania trip back in August for our Christmas trip. After long day of drive, we arrived around 8:30pm at the property. Upon check in, they told us they can’t find any of our bookings, Expedia didn’t send our booking through, and the hotel is full, none of us has a room. We were left on the street with nowhere to go at 9pm. Then she relocated us (1 family to a small granny flat style cottage at someone’s else property. The rest to a inn, rooms directly above a pub!) we had to check in at the bar with kids, there were 4 or 5 drunk people there. Not an environment we would choose for kids at all. We then contacted Expedia, and Expedia told us it was a double booking. Totally unacceptable situation! Ruined our holiday, & we had to quickly book something expensive for the second night last minute.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Bay of Fired apartments. Very convenient location, easy parking. The apartment is very cosy and well setup, Nespresso machine is a nice touch, good size fridge, quiet air conditioner, comfy bed, lots of pillows. Would happily stay again and highly recommend as a place to stay to explore the Bay of a Fires area. There are not a lot of restaurant options but Banjos for breakfast was nice and the Bayside Hotel Bistro is nothing fancy but good food.

There are not a lot of restaurant options but Banjos for breakfast was nice and the Bayside Hotel Bistro is nothing fancy but good food.

Really lovely apartment in the centre of town, close to shops, cafes, restaurants. Apartment very clean, comfy bed, large shower with quality toiletries. Lovely shops and markets were on during our stay. Close to all the major attractions like beautiful Bay of Fires

Located right on the water! Easy walk to many restaurants! Laundry right there! Groceries close by. Overall a great location. The staff was super - the gardener even cut me a rose : )

The suite was beautifully furnished with a king size bed that was very comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep. We stayed during the Easter long weekend and found many shops in St Helens were closed including the East Coast Village Providore next door. It was handy our room had a coffee machine and toaster press so we could heat up bakery items for breakfast.

No kitchen just a microwave on a small bench in a small nook! No sink. Room is a dark box with no window to speak of, just a tiny window that you leave the blind down as another window looks straight in to yours. Small fridge with no light and an overly frozen icebox. TV doesn’t work after 1 minute it’s freezes and remote does not function. You have to turn off from the wall and on again and select your Chanel out of 3 before it freezes again,forget Netflix or YouTube. I suffer from flicker vertigo and as I have a disability I have to use the lift,and the lift had no lights other than a broken led that strobes at lightning speed,I had to cover my eyes while in the dark lift. Bit disappointed you might say. Can’t recommend this place,.Nice to have no contact with customers and use codes for doors ,but you’d better not leave your phone in the room and go out as you won’t get back . Maybe you will write the codes on the back of your hand.

Very good room that is well located in St Helens for all the amenities of the town. Immensely well kept room and the block has great laundry facilities. Piece of feedback puzzled why no shelf for toiletries in shower even thought fittings there and also no door hooks for towels even though holes there. Add to this query why provide a “kitchenette” with all items but have to use bathroom sink to wash items that’s not ideal having to wash and wash up in. Overall good comfortable apartment.
