Found hotel to be in good location in a quieter part of Ramsgate on the sea front. Parking was easy as hotel out of the restricted parking zone ,it also has small car park . The hotel has a lift to all floors and the room was quite large with side sea views and a large 4 poster bed, and bathroom with walk in shower.The cooked breakfast was included , we also paid extra for a evening meal that was excellent, also had live music on the Friday night at the time we stayed. Ramsgate harbour and town would be a 20 minute walk which is a lively town with bars and restaurants .

walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid.

Arrived at 14.40 in heavy rain too be told at Reception that we were too early was a disheartening start. Flasks of coffee for breakfast was a disappointing throwback and problems with card entry system were irrritating. Everything else was good and our overall experience was good.

The continental breakfast was lovely. The evening meal we booked was delicious and as it was Friday we had a live band . Unfortunately their groupies came and hogged the dance floor all night. The room was nicely decorated and we had a sea view. the location is not good, on a steep hill with only a bus hourly.

The hotel was great to stay in it was clean the staff was nice and approachable but it not wheelchair friendly you can get in to the hotel but you couldn’t fit a wheelchair in the lift without asking the person in the chair to get up and stand up to get the chair in the lift

Pleasant stay helped by very good weather. Hotel nicely positioned and efficiently managed. Bed was small so sleep was not good. Room 409 needs a king sized bed to meet modern expectations. Bar and restaurant both very good.

Extremely noisy during the week early mornings with trash van and linen van collections at 5am. Outside noise in the evenings with traffic and party goers kept us up late. The rooms were ok but they forgot to remove the many spider webs. Bed was quite uncomfortable but clean and staff made up the bed every morning. Tea and coffee available with bottled water each day. Breakfast had a very good choice but evening menu was drab and normal restaurant menu had nothing appealing. On a whole the staff were friendly and helpful and view was great.

The hotel is much improved since it was under Comfort Inns. The rooms were lovely and clean and bathrooms very smart and updated.Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.We would certainly return for another visit.

A really friendly hotel with very helpful staff. The bedroom was clean and a reasonable size. A couple of minor but annoying features. Firstly, the view of the tv (which is in the corner of the room) from the bed is partially obscured by the posts of the four poster bed. Second, the wall lights by the bed have been installed lopsidedly.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely room with fantastic view from the balcony. Comfy bed and decent bathroom & shower. Breakfast was minimal but good and could ask for other things at extra cost.

Had a lovely weekend at the san clu, just one little niggle there was no plug socket at the side of the bed to charge your phone, had to leave it on the other side of the room. Other than that it was excellent great staff very helpful.

The continental breakfast was lovely. The evening meal we booked was delicious and as it was Friday we had a live band . Unfortunately their groupies came and hogged the dance floor all night. The room was nicely decorated and we had a sea view. the location is not good, on a steep hill with only a bus hourly.

Pleasant stay helped by very good weather. Hotel nicely positioned and efficiently managed. Bed was small so sleep was not good. Room 409 needs a king sized bed to meet modern expectations. Bar and restaurant both very good.

Found hotel to be in good location in a quieter part of Ramsgate on the sea front. Parking was easy as hotel out of the restricted parking zone ,it also has small car park . The hotel has a lift to all floors and the room was quite large with side sea views and a large 4 poster bed, and bathroom with walk in shower.The cooked breakfast was included , we also paid extra for a evening meal that was excellent, also had live music on the Friday night at the time we stayed. Ramsgate harbour and town would be a 20 minute walk which is a lively town with bars and restaurants .

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely room with fantastic view from the balcony. Comfy bed and decent bathroom & shower. Breakfast was minimal but good and could ask for other things at extra cost.

There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. The hotel is much improved since it was under Comfort Inns. The rooms were lovely and clean and bathrooms very smart and updated.Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.We would certainly return for another visit.

Upon checking in the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel was well situated for the purpose of our visit, we only stayed 1 night and the room was good for what we needed. The only downside which we didnt realise until returning to the room at 11pm was that the generator units were directly outside our bedroom windows and gave off quite a loud hum all night, which being a light sleeper wasn't ideal but sadly that was just the luck of the draw with the rooms I guess.

Was lovely hotel room was amazing with sea views and of high standard. Staff were extremely good and communication was good. Even had use of sauna which we used and gym if you are fitness mad.Also had a band on Friday which was lovely and food in restaurant was brilliant too. Would certainly be going back and even stroll to town only takes 5/10 minutes.

Staff were very warm and welcoming - room and premises were great and maintained well. I’d maybe add some coasters to the room for the teas/coffees (and a few extra biscuits!) but aside from that, would happily stay again. Great coastal view from the room and easy parking too - which I think could be upsold more on here for potential guests comparing hotels. Thank you, San Clu!

For the amount of money we payed for the stay, the property seems outdated, in poor state, and not cleaned to the full extent as much as expected. The shower head came off and had to be screwed back in during the shower, speaking of the shower the drain was blocked up so would have to minimise water pressure to avoid overflow. The TV remote in the room was disgusting and seemed to never been cleaned. The hallways and lift to and from the room were outdated, as well as the room decor. Chipped walls and furniture with visible moisture damage on walls, and a window very difficult to open. The prices for breakfast and restaurant were way too high also. The only good part was the air-conditioning really.
