Great friendly hotel with a nice restaurant and good amenities. Not many options in the area anyways but a good spot for those chasing auroras or doing activities. The only downside are the transfers from Kiruna airport to hotel, you have to book your own and it’s limited what is available. No buses in autumn so had to take an incredibly expensive cab. That aside, had a small shop on site where you can rent or buy winter gear and buy snacks. Restaurant opens for breakfast lunch and dinner. Many hiking trails around and tour packages pick up from hotel which is convenient.

Cozy room and super comfortable bed. Convenient to have the restaurant on site. Plenty of spots to sit and relax inside, and plenty of options for tours and activities. Information centre was closed during the stay, but still able to access information to be able to self navigate. Lots of tracks and points of interest to explore nearby that are well marked. Abisko Turiststation is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Abisko. The property has accommodation types for all budgets and is very clean and well kept. The two restaurants are perfect and the staff were easily available and very helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many hiking and cross country skiing trails and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Abisko National Park. The train station is just next door - an easy walk even with luggage - and tour operators will pick you up directly from the turiststation. If you’re here in winter, you can view the northern lights from just behind the hotel, with gorgeous views of a lake and nearby mountains. I had a perfect experience, would absolutely come back!

We got a very nice room with northern light right outside our windows. The room is warm , comfortable, clean and with a superb view, it’s so relax. Lots of area in the complex to chill out, extremely friendly staff. The little shop has a good offerings if you need anything. Communal kitchen is spacious and super clean.

Det var ev bra upplevelse. Runt hotellet fanns det fina vyer och bra vandringsleder. Torneträsk låg cirka 15 minuters promenad bort och var en härlig vandring. Natthimlen var fantastisk och så fort det var klart väder gick det att se norrsken i omgångar. Förutom detta gick det att se Dalripor och älgar med lite tur. Väl på hotellet var det bra service. Det fanns flera utrymme att vara på och hänga vid som exempelvis en brasa. Det fanns torkrum och kök om man behövde det. Det fanns även en mindre butik som sålde allt från friluftsgrejer till mat. Restaurangen hade god mat. All personal var tillmötesgående och trevliga. Något negativt är kanske att transporten till turiststationen beror på huruvida SJ inte ställer in tågen, vilket de tyvärr ofta gör. Detta ligger såklart inte på STF men hade varit bra om det fanns fler alternativ eller bussar. De bussar som gick var man tvungen att boka i förtid. Detta gäller vintermånaderna och kanske är annorlunda på sommaren. Men i det stora hela så är boendet och platsen fantastisk.

Ottima struttura adiacente al Parco Nazionale di Abisko e alla Aurora Sky Station. Abbondante e buona colazione, ampio parcheggio a disposizione. Le camere sono essenziali ma spaziose e pulite. Molto comodo il negozio interno alla struttura, visto che nei dintorni non ci sono altre attività commerciali.

Abisko stf is very clean, walking distance from train station. Various hiking trails are also easily accessible from here. View is very nice. Staff is very hepful.

Safe and convenient with easy parking. The maintenance of the property is pretty bad as stains were on the living room and bathroom floor which gives out an old motel vibe. Smells from the sewage/plumbing as well (basin missing cover) probably that’s why emits funny smell The towel and bedsheet have a weird stale smell too

Rummet var inte perfekt städat. Sköna sängar. Frukost, bröd, pålägg, ägg, sill, bacon, grönsaker fanns inte att ta när vi kom vid kl 8. Personalen verkade inte ha bästa koll, tyvärr.

Tons of places to sit and view scenery … with power points. Several hikes around fr 1 km to 200 kms. Peaceful midrange accommodation - price reflects this. 5 min walk fr train station.

Die Hotellobby sieht aus sls würde man eine Eishalle betreten. Zimmer super klein, Bett war bequem. Badezimmer klein, schmutzig, Duschvorhang. Frühstück war gut, muss jedoch selbst abräumen. Für 60- maximal 80€ Wäre das Hotel ok. Aber für 172€ stimmt das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis gar nicht. Würde nie wieder hier Übernachten!

My room had ventilation right under the window which made it hard to sleep due to the noise. I discovered it 2 hours after check in, trying to take a nap before heading out for aurora hunting. At 5pm I told the reception, who said there’s nothing the could do as there were no other available rooms. Later that night I was coming back and noticed a box with drop-in envelopes, one of which was for another room same price category as mine, which were left in case someone showed up after hours without a reservation. So there were rooms, but they didn’t want to move me and just lied to my face. It is probably just one room like that (other windows next to the vent are some sort of storage), but unless you fancy paying this much to listen to industrial noises in the middle of national park, avoid that room. Generally, their prices and lack of service are due to the fact that there are almost no other options around and place is super popular. Doesn’t make it okay.

Everything was good except my bed/room seemed to be under a (community?) bathroom as I heard noises I didn't want hear throughout the night. So sleep quality was poor. If I was on second floor I guess would not have been an issue

The tourist station is conveniently located in Abisko national Park. It has its own train station and it's just a five minute walk away. The rooms were large and spacious with plenty of storage, a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, great views of the park and a very large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and provided lots of vegan options! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very comfortable hotel rooms, good value breakfast and dinner, really friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful vibe with all the hikers. Great base to explore the national park whether you are a seasoned trekker wanting to leave some luggage before a multiday hike or a family trip up the chairlift

Abisko Turiststation is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Abisko. The property has accommodation types for all budgets and is very clean and well kept. The two restaurants are perfect and the staff were easily available and very helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many hiking and cross country skiing trails and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Abisko National Park. The train station is just next door - an easy walk even with luggage - and tour operators will pick you up directly from the turiststation. If you’re here in winter, you can view the northern lights from just behind the hotel, with gorgeous views of a lake and nearby mountains. I had a perfect experience, would absolutely come back!

Habitacion doble con cama grande y cuarto de baño. Llegamos sobre las 11:00 en tren desde Estocolmo de 18 horas. Al llegar a recepción nos dicen que la habitación hasta las 15:00 nada de nada. También el checking out nos lo ponen a las 10:00, pero si aún te queda pasta pagando un extra te dejan hasta las 12:00. Todo refleja el poquísimo interés por las personas, sabiendo lo lejos que vienes y cansado que llegas. Al regresar al hotel en Estocolmo nos realizan el checking in a las 10:00, he ahí la diferencia. Una pena porque el lugar es bonito . Nosotros hicimos 5 rutas. El desayuno y almuerzo muy bien. La cena muy cara y nada del otro mundo. Estancia de tres noches( una extra por dilatación vías del tren). Por lo demás todo muy bien.

Abisko Turistation will forever hold a special place in our hearts We arrived by train which is directly across the road from the turistation. They offer special trolleys for bags at the station for those bringing large bags The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations with delicious warm options We also got the lunch pack because we did a big hike that day. 100% recommend because it was excellent Our room was warm and cosy, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay The view was incredible We loved our stay

Stayed here for a few nights in the hope of seeing the aurora. Booked activities directly with them which was so easy and the staff were all very helpful. Food in the bistro and the restaurant was delicious. Buffet breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Lots of great books to lounge and read or crochet and sip wine.

The only reason why I would book this accommodation is because close to the start of Kungsleden trail, there aren't many other options. The staff especially was not only unfriendly, but also extremely unhelpful. Also from one day to another, the price for breakfast just went up. When I pointed this out, the only comment I got was: "oh yes, we just increased the price today".

Great friendly hotel with a nice restaurant and good amenities. Not many options in the area anyways but a good spot for those chasing auroras or doing activities. The only downside are the transfers from Kiruna airport to hotel, you have to book your own and it’s limited what is available. No buses in autumn so had to take an incredibly expensive cab. That aside, had a small shop on site where you can rent or buy winter gear and buy snacks. Restaurant opens for breakfast lunch and dinner. Many hiking trails around and tour packages pick up from hotel which is convenient.

Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com. Otherwise, this hotel is great, most of the activities pick up at this location. The only other item to note is that this is not in Abisko proper. So if you need to get food from a grocery store, you should bring it with you or plan to walk to the store as there are limited transportation options once you arrive.

Our stay at STF Abisko Turiststation was great. The location is a bit out of town but great for viewing the Northern Lights. There are so many activities offered. Breakfast was served every morning. The lodge is very quaint. Lots of places around the lodge to lounge and relax. Definitely would stay again.

The tourist station is conveniently located in Abisko national Park. It has its own train station and it's just a five minute walk away. The rooms were large and spacious with plenty of storage, a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, great views of the park and a very large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and provided lots of vegan options! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Room clean though it’s a shower room=flooded floor. Wish I had know about the placement of rooms would’ve upgraded to one with view over lake rather than other buildings. Tons of places to sit and view scenery … with power points. Several hikes around fr 1 km to 200 kms. Peaceful midrange accommodation - price reflects this. 5 min walk fr train station.

Stayed in one of the rooms in the main building. It's perfectly comfortable and nice. The location is perfect too. Breakfast amazing, they even had a tray with vegan cheese, yoghurt, etc. and the porrige was vegan. All good, thank you

Let me start by saying this is an amazing location and well worth a visit. However, we stayed in a premium room, which was more expensive than our 4 star hotel in Kiruna, but nowhere near the same quality. Nevertheless, as everyone else has previously, we overlooked this due to the amazing location. We were unable to book in the restaurant for the three nights we were there and ate in the bistro once as the menu never changed burger, pizzas or salad. This venue is also far more expensive than other parts of Sweden.

Sehr schöne Lage und Ausblick,ruhig,mitten in der Natur Zimmer klein und einfach, aber gemütlich,Preis dafür schon sehr hoch. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Skystationund azch Abholung füur alke Ausflüge,das sehr angenehm. Frühstück ganz ok,aber immer gleich. Sonstiges Essen teuer und nicht gut,in der Umgebung keine anderen Möglichkeien,habe mich im Supermarkt mit Instant Nudeln und Suppen eingedeckt.

Det mesta var väldigt bra. Lite svårt med rätter i restaurangen, med få rätter i urvalet. Rummet bra med bra sängar, många trevliga allmänna utrymmen att vistas i. Naturen är fantastisk.
