We stayed at this property twenty years ago. Great historic little cabins. We were pleased to see the updated main house with a restaurant serving nice meals: large tasty portions, and a basic breakfast. We were disappointed to see that no updates have been made to the cabins which are very dated yet extremely clean. WiFi is advertised but it did not work for half of our stay, not even the main house. On a positive note the staff was helpful and friendly.

Cottage itself was ok, but so so cold. Even the heater was max, temperature inside the living room was around 16-17 so needed to accommodate with two layers of wool clothes - and we were prepared with fully wool blankets. Toilet was colder and corridor was freezing.
